"You wanted to confess on a larger scale?" He questioned, his heart pounding. He was also angry at himself, he had ruined his surprise.

"Yes, I wanted to act like a man for a change, but you ruined it," she complained, while she glared at him.

"I am sorry, I know I am at fault," he apologized almost immediately and Xin Yan had no reason to remain angry with him.

"It is alright," she scoffed quietly before looking out the window.

Li Qiang watched the little woman who was throwing a tantrum and he could not help but laugh, albeit quietly for fear of annoying her.

Minutes later, they arrived at the company and Xin Yan sighed heavily. She looked around the company from inside of the car and she frowned, the place looked heavily deserted.

"Why does this place look deserted?" She asked, she was expecting a lot of workers but the reverse was the case.

"The employees are all on a ’break’," Li Qiang replied, laying a huge emphasis on the word, ’break.’

"Oh, that explains it," Xin Yan nodded, understanding what he meant immediately.

Li Qiang beamed, obviously pleased with her smart perception skills. She cut on what he was trying to pass without him needing to explain it to her and it was something he was proud of in her.

"Let us head in, we need to satisfy their needs," Xin Yan was excited, totally different from her earlier nervous self.

"You look really excited," Li Qiang commented and she chuckled.

"Hmm, this is the first step to my revenge plan, therefore I am very excited," she replied with a loud sigh escaping her lips.

"That is good, come on, I will be with you throughout and I know you will get this," Li Qiang was confident in her and he was waiting for her to return the favour to which the people had given her in her past life.

The two exited the car and walked into the company. They were almost stopped by the security but once Li Qiang showed the security an identity card, they were forced to open it with respect.

Li Qiang gestured for Xin Yan to walk in first, and he walked in behind her.

"This is the company which was built with my money, which is nice," she commented, looking at the company’s interior.

She was already making plans in her mind. She was going to change a lot of things, and create a conducive environment for the workers.

She had a vision for the company and this is what she would fulfill.

"This is the way to the conference room," Li Qiang commented as he led her to an elevator.

They walked into the elevator and spent about ten minutes before they came out. Li Qiang walked and she followed behind while she took in everything, that is, the corners and turns before they arrived at the conference room.

Li Qiang looked towards her, he was asking for confirmation with his eyes and she nodded. There was nothing to hide either ways.

He suddenly pushed the door open, causing all eyes in the conference room to turn towards them.

Jiang Zhengzhou, on recognising them, stood up from his seat immediately as he looked at them both with fear in his eyes. And why would he not, Li Qiang had dealt with him harshly in the past and he still dealing with him.

He had been forced into a corner. On one side was his company which he spent his entire life building and the other hand was his kids who were fighting and having issues in their marriage.

He was having pains in his chest and the issues in his family and company were the reason and the cause of it all was standing in front of him, but he could not do anything, sadly.

"What do you want?" He barely managed to ask.

He actually had a bad omen. He knew the shareholders were selling their shares but he had no idea as to whom they were selling it to. He was also aware that the mysterious person who bought the shares was already the owner of the company.

He did not know who it was but on seeing Xin Yan and Li Qiang, he had every right to think they were the one and he was scared and frustrated.

If it were any other person who bought the company, he would have no qualms with it. But this was Xin Yan, they were responsible for his misery and he would never allow them take what belongs to him.

But Jiang Zhengzhou seemed to be forgetting that the company was built solely with the Xins’ family’s money and he was a thief who was living on another person’s wealth.

There was nothing bad in the person taking back what belonged to her.

"You are asking me why I am here?" Xin Yan pointed to herself and she chuckled with a sarcastic tone.

Jiang Zhengzhou glared daggers at her and if looks could kill, Xin Yan would have been six feet under a couple of times.

"Just so you know and allow you to refresh your brain, this is my company, I bought the shares from your shareholders and before you flare up, recall that this company was built with my family’s money and I was not aware, on a normal basis, I was meant to send you and your family to jail but I was being nice, what is wrong with me taking back what actually belongs to me?" Xin Yan said a lot, and of course revealed a lot.

All the shareholders let out collective gasps. They had no idea that this company was not built with the Jiang’s money.

This was totally different from what they were told. They glared towards Jiang Zhengzhou who felt like he should be buried. All the shareholders felt like they had been played and all who felt guilty for selling their shares had their guilt justified.

"What are you trying to do?" Jiang Zhengzhou forced himself to calm down but it was not easy as his hands were shaking by his side. Everyone had already seen his true colours and it would be difficult for him to extricate himself.

Before Xin Yan could reply, the door to the conference room was opened once more, and Yuan Renshu and Jiang Lanfen walked in, arguing.

"Why would you have a share of my father’s company? Is it not enough that I had already agreed to the divorce?" Jiang Lanfen asked immediately they walked in.

She did not pay attention to the environment they were in as she continued with her ranting, showing how much of a shrew she was.

Xin Yan was surprised to find them here. She did not expect that she would watch such a lively scene. She even took a seat and decided to watch the family drama with interest, not like it was her concern anyway. It was just for the entertainment.

Xin Yan could only shake his head seeing her excited look. He stood behind, protecting her from the crazy couple, lest Jiang Lanfen saw her and tried to do something crazy.

"Why would I not get a share? Have you forgotten who grew this company to this level? And what was your father doing? Should I remind you?" Yuan Renshu asked as he faced the shareholders.

He was surprised to find Xin Yan in the room and he subconsciously looked down at himself, he was thinking he was unpresentable.

"Why did you.....?" Jiang Lanfen paused in her words, she had already noticed Xin Yan.

Her eyes turned red as she tried to lunge at her but who was Li Qiang? Would he allow any harm come to her, the answer was no!

As she was approaching her, he kicked her away, not minding that she was female. She landed on the floor as she let out a groan in pain.

"Ah! Murder!" She screamed but no one was willing to help her and she looked towards Yuan Renshu who had already taken his eyes away from her.

She felt heartbroken immediately. She had thought that despite the divorce he asked for, he would still help her, considering the fact that they had grown up together, but she thought too much.

Yuan Renshu was not willing to associate with her, especially when Xin Yan was present.

Tears suddenly escaped from Jiang Lanfen’s eyes as she forced herself to stand up. For the first time, Xin Yan actually felt pity for her.

She felt that she could relate with her. She was in the same situation as her in the past life. It all balls down to the fact Yuan Renshu was a cunning bastard.

"Why are you here, Xin Yan? This company belongs to my family and no outsiders can step in," Jiang Lanfen put away her tears as she asked haughtily. She walked to her father’s back, leaving Yuan Renshu behind.

She had lost all hope for him ever since he asked for a divorce.
