"Then how about I make you recall? I would love for you to remember me," Li Qiang was adamant.

Xin Yan stared at him with dumbfounded eyes, she wondered why he was very adamant with her getting to recall him.

"Fine, whatever floats your boat," she said with a shrug of her shoulders. She could not be bothered to argue with him.

"Are you going to the gym?" He asked as he took notice of her clothing. She was dressed in sports clothes, and she was holding a water bottle in her hands, it was obvious she wanted to visit the gym.

"Yes," she curtly replied.

"Then I will accompany you, I am also visiting the gym," he said to her, and she rolled her eyes, not bothering with him at all.

"Do whatever you want to do," Xin Yan replied to him with an uninterested tone.

Fast-forward later, Xin Yan and Li Qiang had grown closer once again, and they made new friends.

The two of them grew close to each other, and they learned a lot about each other.

Though she had always addressed him as Li Qiang ever since they got married, this time around, Li Qiang could sense the emotions in her voice.

They had finally recalled their memories.

"Xin Yan," he also called her. A man who never cried shed tears because he finally got back his memories, he had never felt this complete.

"I will leave the both of you to talk," Dr. Song was considerate as he left the both of them to talk.

"I cannot believe this," the both of them took a seat on the sofa as they began their discussion.

"Maybe this is why the heavens gave me a second chance, to find my kids and also make it up to you," Xin Yan held his hands as she spoke with a light smile.

"I want to ask a question," Li Qiang looked at her, his eyes not hiding the love which he had always had for her, his eyes not hiding the deep emotions he felt to her only.

"Sure, you can ask," Xin Yan did not pay attention to his face as she was happy the void which was in her brain had actually been cleared off.

"Do you love me? Do you still love me? I hope our years of separation will not take us apart," Li Qiang asked, his voice faltered slightly.

This was what he dreaded the most, for him to find out that she did not love him anymore. Actually, within his heart, he knew what her answer was. He only needed confirmation from her, and he could set his mind at rest.

Xin Yan looked at him, taken aback by the question he asked. She looked at him, and she was confused by what answer she was to give to him.

Even without her complete memories, she knew within her that she was already in love with him. The memories just served as a sort of confirmation to her.

She looked at him, and she was in a deep contemplation. She actually planned to do something grand to confess her love. It will not be nice to just say it casually, as he had been waiting for her.

"You will find out soon," she said with a mysterious smile, and he nodded, albeit disappointed.

He was expecting an immediate response, but he sensed that she was planning something, and he hoped it did favor him.

He could only hope and wait.

"We need to find our kids," Li Qiang suddenly mentioned. At the mention of the kids, Xin Yan’s heart clenched.

Her girls, they were just so little, and they were separated cruelly from their parents.

"Do you know if they will be fine? Our girls, our babies were separated from us, it hurts so much," her hands clenched by her side as she tried to fight back her tears, but it was a futile effort.

"You can cry if you like," Li Qiang urged her as he patted her back and soon, her tears fell, they fell as all her pent-up frustrations burst out.

Did she think about many what-if? The answer was Yes! What if she had not been reborn? Would her kids have suffered, the more she thought about it, the more her tears fell?

Li Qiang on the other hand, continued with patting her back, but that did not mean he had it easy.
