For the next few days, Leon worked non-stop.

Despite the fact that he already completed the 3 main blueprint constructs as a D Rank Warmachine Specialist, he didn’t become complacent and rest.

This was because despite how powerful he seemed at this moment with all 3 main D Rank constructs of his, having witnessed the horror of fighting C Rank Ascended, he knew that it was not enough.

Against C Rank Ascended, beings that already ascended beyond the laws of nature and physics, he needed any advantage that he could get to survive.

Before, he could afford to live his life normally and take it easy not knowing much. He even followed Talia at some point as a part of her crew, eager to learn from her, but the Leon of now was far different from the Leon of then.

After his second Ascended Trial, he learned a lot of things.

He learned that he had a beef with not just 1, but 2 C Rank Ascended. 3 if you add Director-Prime Epsilon to the equation, so Leon simply could not afford to be complacent after constructing 3 blueprints.

Even with the 3 constructs, he knew that he was not strong enough to defeat any of his 3 main enemies.

Besides, his main motivation for doing more was the fact that despite how powerful and useful the 3 constructs were to the combat style of a Warmachine Specialist, one important aspect of a Warmachine Specialist remained unattended to- the mechanical soldier aspect.

His D Rank ability, Command Link Network ability necessitated it or he would be wasting his true combat potential as a Warmachine Specialist.

As an E Rank Mechanist, Leon only had the ability and the resources to construct a single Doom Rover v0.1.

But now as a D Rank Mechanist, not only did he have the ability, but through Leviathan Quay he had the leverage and resources to build his first army of mechanical soldiers.

As a D Rank Mechanist, he could afford to be in an ocean of debt simply because he now had the ability to make a lot of money if he wanted.

Leon was already over 4 million in debt with Leviathan Quay after the 3 main Warmachine Specialist construct projects that he took on, and now, with his next project, his debt climbed even higher.

After modifying the original Doom Rover v0.1 blueprint to create the Doom Rover v0.2s, Leon already constructed 13 of them previously but he didn’t stop.

The Command Link Network ability gave him the capability of controlling 20 mechanical soldiers simultaneously in battle like extensions of his body.

If his ability said 20, he had no intention of deploying into battle with less than 20 Doom Rover v0.2s due to laziness.

This was despite the Bulwark MK.II Titan Frame.

Individually, the mech suit was already overpowered but logic dictated that when accompanied by an army of 20 powerful and unique mechanical soldiers, deploying into battle inside the Bulwark MK would be even more interesting.

Also, the fact that the limit of his ability was 20 mechanical soldiers didn’t mean Leon intended to stop at 20 though. He was an ambitious man.

No matter how powerful each Doom Rover was individually, since the caliber of opponents that he would be facing was going to likely scale with his rank, this meant the mechanical soldiers were likely going to get wreaked at some point.

And when some of them became wreaked in battle, Leon didn’t want to be caught off-guard.

He wanted to be ready to replace them at a moment’s notice.

In preparation for his future battles, Leon desired to have at least 10 mechanical soldiers on reserve that he could call on anytime to replace any destroyed mechanical soldier.

For this reason, he locked himself inside the shelter working nonstop.

And finally, he was done.

After 3 days of locking himself inside his workshop working non-stop, Leon finally met his target as he succeeded in constructing 35 Doom Rover v0.2s!

Every single one of them cost over 130,000 Neo Credits, and together, they cost more than 4.5 million Neo Credits!

Despite the work that he already did over the past 3 weeks to repay the Geneforge City, he was still over 6 million Neo Credits in debt at the end of his construction run.

But to Leon, the most important thing was that his final preparations to leave his shelter was finally complete.
