Reborn as a Transcendent-Chapter 756Book 3: : That’s It? Seriously?
“Can’t be helped. There’s only one guest room here,” Yae-hime said evenly. She did not seem to think that the three of them sleeping together was anything strange. She was not the kind of person who slept around casually.
Sleeping beside an unfamiliar girl would normally make her feel somewhat uncomfortable. Yet Zerene gave her no such feeling at all. On the contrary, there was an inexplicable sense of closeness.
“But I don’t want to sleep with her,” Lili said, folding her arms across her chest as she puffed out her lips.
“Just pretend Zerene is invisible,” Yae-hime replied as she patted the mattress again. “See? If I sleep on my side like this, you won’t even see her.”
“….” Hearing that, Lili blinked, struggled inwardly for a moment, and finally gave in. “Fine. But only this once,” she said, lowering her arms and shooting Yae-hime an aggrieved look.
The latter smiled and beckoned to her.
“Hmph.” Lili snorted, then stepped forward. With a soft swish, she kicked off her boots and slipped straight into Yae-hime’s embrace. “Like this, I won’t see that girl at all,” she murmured, burying her head into the other’s chest.
“It’s late. Let’s sleep,” Yae-hime said, reaching out to switch off the magic crystal lamp before resting her hand on Lili.
“Mm,” Lili replied softly, her small face tinged with red.
Her heart began to pound even faster. Sleeping while hugging each other this closely really was bad for her heart.
Lili closed her eyes and muttered to herself inwardly.
The room fell quiet. Yae-hime, however, remained awake. She had originally planned to chat with Lili, or perhaps do a full-body beauty routine to pass the time. But when she thought about what Lili had done today, she changed her mind.
“You’ve really worked hard today,” Yae-hime said softly.
Lili did not respond. Only faint breathing sounds echoed through the room.
Zerene’s, and Lili’s.
Clearly, Lili had already drifted into sleep. It was obvious that she was utterly exhausted today.
‘The apostle didn’t come, but instead a sea beast appeared, and that sea beast ended up bringing me a Celestial. Today was full of surprises.’ Thinking back on everything that had happened, Yae-hime could not help but sigh inwardly.
There was no need for her to worry about Alicia for now. As for the apostle threat facing Aoma Village, with Lili around, it was not much of a problem either.
‘As for Zerene, I still don’t know what’s going on. I’ll just observe for now.’
Feeling the faint warmth coming from her back, Yae-hime frowned slightly. Even though the Celestial race girl did not give her any sense of danger or crisis… She still felt that the timing of her appearance was far too coincidental. As if the two of them were fated to meet.
‘Fate, huh… Alicia seems to believe in things like fate.’
Whether Yae-hime believed in it or not, the answer was naturally yes. After all, she herself was someone who had been reborn.
‘It feels like we’re all chess pieces, moving around on the board under the arrangements of some god of fate.’
Yae-hime had entertained a few conjectures about her own rebirth. But those guesses were so absurd that even she found them hard to believe. Unless there was concrete evidence to support them…
The night grew deeper.
Yae-hime’s “penalty time” finally came to an end.
She glanced at Lili in her arms and whispered softly, “We’ll see each other again tomorrow morning.”
As soon as the words fell, Yae-hime logged out at once. Zerene and Lili continued sleeping, as if they were completely unaware of the changes outside.

At this moment, atop the City of Chaos.
Yae-hime opened her eyes and slowly let out a breath of stale air. “So tired. Today was really rough.” She got up from the bed and stretched lazily.
“Master!” A small figure suddenly flashed into view, a lively voice spreading through the room.
Looking up, she saw Little Blue swooping toward her.
“Good evening!” Little Blue said cheerfully as she leapt straight into Yae-hime’s arms, wrapping her arms around her neck and rubbing her cheek against her.
“You look so happy. Did something good happen?” Yae-hime pinched her soft, rosy cheek and asked with a smile.
“Mm-hmm! Chef One got upgraded. Everything it cooks now tastes better and better!” Little Blue said happily.
“That really is good news.” Yae-hime nodded lightly. “As long as you all behave yourselves, there’ll definitely be no shortage of premium ingredients.”
“Yay! I knew Master was the best!” Little Blue exclaimed excitedly. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
That was exactly why she had rushed out so eagerly. She wanted Yae-hime to buy some high-grade ingredients so Chef One could cook something delicious.
“You think I don’t know what you’re plotting?” Yae-hime said as she gently lifted Little Blue off her. Then she asked, “Has anything changed on Aqua Blue Star?”
Little Blue floated in midair, her face full of smiles. “Master, everything’s normal!”
“No news is good news.” Yae-hime let out a breath of relief. With trouble constantly brewing in the game, if the real world also spiraled into chaos, it would definitely give her a splitting headache.
“Did anyone special arrive in Cathay today?” Yae-hime asked casually as she stood up.
By now, the news that S.K.Y. possessed an artifact had already spread across the world. She felt that some major overseas powers would likely make a move.
As for the local powerhouses, Mylene had not received any particular updates. Those people seemed to be waiting and watching.
What Yae-hime did not know was that the major domestic powers currently had no time to worry about S.K.Y. at all. Most of them were busy figuring out how to make contact with the so-called Kun Ruins prodigy.
And who else could that prodigy be, if not Yae-hime herself?
Unfortunately, Yae-hime was not from Kun Ruins at all. She did not even know where Kun Ruins was. So whatever plans they were making around her, hoping to gain some benefit, were nothing more than wishful thinking.
“Yes. Quite a few transcendent and martial artists arrived throughout the day,” Little Blue reported.
“Many S-rankers or Grandmasters?” Yae-hime asked.
Little Blue shook her head. “Nope. Just a bunch of small fries.”
“Looks like the big overseas powers aren’t planning to make their move yet. Keep an eye on things for me.” Yae-hime instructed.
“Okay! Oh right, Master. Chef One made a late-night snack. Do you want to eat together?” Little Blue nodded, suddenly remembering the food.
Yae-hime shook her head lightly. “I’m not hungry. You all go ahead.”
“Alright then, I’ll eat it while it’s hot!” With that, Little Blue flashed away, vanishing in an instant.
“She sure runs fast… that little glutton.” Yae-hime said with a wry smile. After that, she closed her eyes and turned her attention inward, examining the changes within her body.
‘The bead really is still there!’ The moment she saw the golden bead, the corners of her lips lifted slightly, forming a pleased smile.
“Great. This gives me double… no, triple insurance!” Yae-hime said excitedly.
As Aqua Blue Star awakened, the dangers she faced in the real world were very likely to surpass those in the game. Having another life-saving trump card was naturally a good thing.
“The problem now is that I don’t know how to use it… Forget it. I’ll just figure it out as I go!” Once the thought crossed her mind, Yae-hime immediately put it into action and tried to draw upon the bead’s power.
The result came effortlessly.
The moment she tried to pull out a trace of life energy, the bead responded on its own, releasing it naturally. Being able to control the bead’s power so easily actually left Yae-hime feeling a little unaccustomed. She froze for several seconds before finally reacting.
“It worked? That’s it? It really worked just like that?” As she spoke, her expression gradually turned into uncontrollable joy.
