Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito-Chapter 2330 - 19: Fierce Battle Against the Star River Powerful Man (Part 2)
"He hasn’t entered subspace. It’s likely that his injuries are too severe, preventing him from stabilizing himself enough to enter subspace."
"Hmph, I thought he was formidable just now, but now he opts for frontal combat. This is beyond recklessness; surely, it’s mindless."
"I was hoping to witness the strength of a Stellar-Class, subspace-talent Strongman, but unfortunately, that’s not possible anymore. However, it’s good to kill Jia Yan; it prevents any unforeseen troubles for us."
"Who cares, since he’s bold enough to charge forward and offer his life, let’s eliminate him."
The subordinates of the assassin were slightly shocked to see Jia Yan not entering subspace nor opting for unique combat techniques, but directly charging forward. Then, their faces lit up with joy.
Jia Yan was willing to engage them directly in battle, rather than using the subspace ambush move. To them, it resolved the only concern they had.
"Fight!"
Seeing how confident these creatures were, Jia Yan shook his head silently and then, in an instant, engaged head-on with the first Stellar Class Late Level creature.
Bang!
In an instant of confrontation, Jia Yan’s forelimb emitted a radiant blue light and blocked an attacking leg from the opponent. Then, like a long whip, another forelimb pierced through the leg and stabbed into its brain.
Poof.
The Stellar Class Late Level creature’s face was still showing joy, but it froze as Jia Yan’s forelimb penetrated its brain with unimaginable speed.
Jia Yan’s forelimb pierced its brain, and in an instant, his Brainwave Power exploded, disrupting all the contents inside its head.
The critical organ for living creatures is the brain used for thinking. Although a creature’s brain might not always be in the same location, it always has a center for processing external information. Jia Yan’s abrupt disruption of this creature’s brain meant it lost its life.
In an instant, a Stellar Class Late Level being died just like that.
"This!..."
The other beings charging forward were stunned, utterly losing their ability to speak.
Although they lost their ability to speak and were shocked by the scene in front of them, the momentum of their earlier charge remained undeterred. Thus, they continued their assault and closed in on Jia Yan.
The closest Stellar Peak creature to Jia Yan suddenly realized how close it was, even able to see the cold glint in the eyes of this azure-transformed monster.
"Don’t categorize me as just a Stellar Class Late Level!"
This Stellar Peak creature was naturally stronger than the previous assassins’ Stellar Class Late Level subordinate, so it unleashed an incredible explosive force in an instant.
In a split second, it mustered all its strength and launched an attack towards Jia Yan.
"Hmph, I know you’re not a Stellar Class Late Level, but in my eyes, you’re just about the same!"
Jia Yan’s eyes glinted harshly, and within his countless Compound Eyes, a sliver of killing intent emerged.
He withdrew the forelimb embedded in the head of the Stellar Class Late Level being, and within less than a second, extended it towards the massive creature before him.
The Stellar Peak creature was roughly the same size as Jia Yan, but it was a being emphasizing strength, making its explosive power evident at a glance.
On the other hand, Jia Yan appeared to be one of those distinct, seemingly weak insect creatures, despite having many feet with pointed, spike-like hairs. It was still unable to compensate for the size difference, making it look like the opponent should easily overpower the Giant Mosquito.
Yet, this Giant Mosquito emitting radiant azure light chose to advance rather than retreat, closing in on the approaching Stellar Peak strength creature.
In an instant, Jia Yan’s forelimb suddenly extended forward, aimed at the Stellar Peak being.
"Do you think you can kill me in one strike like that? It’s not that simple, I’ll break your long foot!"
The Stellar Peak creature wasn’t afraid of Jia Yan’s thrusting forelimb. In an instant, it raised its long palm and grabbed at Jia Yan’s foot, attempting to snap it.
"Oh? Go ahead, grab it!"
Jia Yan saw the move, sneered, and allowed the being to firmly grasp his foot without accelerating the thrust.
"Break it! Ah!"
The Stellar Peak creature grabbed Jia Yan’s foot and tried to bend it violently like a volcano eruption, but despite earth-shattering sounds and turbulence in Subspace and gravitational wave space, Jia Yan’s azure forelimb remained still, showing no sign of breaking.
"Haha, now you know, you cannot break my forelimb!"
Jia Yan laughed heartily then, with the speed the Stellar Peak creature couldn’t detect, pierced it with another forelimb into its brain.
Poof.
"This... I’m not content!"
The creature, knowing it was about to die; felt complete unwillingness in its final moments.
Because Jia Yan’s strength shouldn’t be this powerful. It was supposed to be an existence equivalent to Jia Yan. Even if it couldn’t defeat Jia Yan, it shouldn’t have died so effortlessly in just one or two strikes.
Yet what it believed actually happened. Jia Yan killed it with no chance to resist after just one strike.
"This... stop, stop, stop."
"This Jia Yan is terrifying; let’s slow down our charge and wait for Lord Assassin to assist."
While those charging slower suddenly halted in their tracks.
If the two companions upfront could hold out a bit longer, these Stellar-class beings wouldn’t necessarily find the courage to charge, but their inability to withstand Jia Yan’s single strike shocked them, especially since one of them was a top Stellar Peak being among them. It made them hesitant and they wanted to wait for the Assassin in the back to attack together with them.
Otherwise, if they just charged together, even though it didn’t mean they had no chance to eliminate Jia Yan, it would certainly cost them dearly. As Stellar-level Strong Ones, they valued their lives tremendously and were unwilling to just charge to their deaths.
"This..."
Further away, catching his breath, watching how his subordinates were forcing Jia Yan back, and even attempting to kill Jia Yan, the Assassin suddenly felt disbelief.
He always thought Jia Yan relied on those explosive weapons, but now he saw Jia Yan easily kill his two powerful subordinates – especially those with exceptional combat powers – in frontal combat.
This made the assassin entirely aware that Jia Yan possessed terrifyingly explosive weapons and an undeniably formidable personal strength as well!
"No, if he kills these subordinates, I can still recruit more from outside, but after he’s killed, I’ll be left without help. Although injured, I don’t believe I can’t fight Jia Yan, perhaps even kill him. But if he still holds those explosive weapons in his hands, what will I do then?"
With this in mind, a trace of anxiety crossed the assassin’s face, and he urgently sped towards the battlefield.
