Chapter 467: Chapter 467: The Sour and Rotten Smell of This Love!

In the morning, Abigail was woken up by Teddy.

The little guy woke up at seven and started making noises, more accurate than an alarm clock.

Abigail went to bed late last night, but her sleep quality was unexpectedly high, and she didn’t feel the least bit drowsy when she woke up. She even had a smile on her lips; no matter how much the little guy fussed, it didn’t affect her good mood at all.

Aunt Claudia saw this, picked up Teddy, and rarely gossipped, “Made up?”

Abigail nodded, her eyes shining.

Aunt Claudia could tell it wasn’t that simple. “It’s more than just making up, isn’t it?”

That radiant smile didn’t look like something so simple as making up.

Abigail raised an eyebrow, “You guess.”

After saying that, she got out of bed, rubbed her nose against her son’s cheek, and briskly walked to the bathroom.

After she washed up, Aunt Claudia also dressed Teddy.

The little guy wasn’t a quiet one; he couldn’t stay in the room for long before he started whining to go outside.

The environment in the manor was even better than the old house, so Aunt Claudia went along with the little guy’s wishes.

When Abigail came out, she saw Kelly pushing Tate in. The two little kids babbling together meant that Abigail had nothing more to do.

Abigail glanced and then went to the dining room.

Brandon Piers was already sitting at the dining table. When Abigail saw him, images of the two of them from last night immediately flashed in her mind, making her a bit embarrassed. Clearly, the routine remained the same, but maybe her mood had changed, making everything seem different.

“Morning.” Just as Abigail was struggling with how to interact with him, Brandon looked up and greeted her, then pointed to the breakfast on the table. “Eat quickly. You have an 8:30 class today.”

“Ah, oh.” Abigail snapped back to reality, glanced at the time; it was already 7:30. She couldn’t afford to delay and quickly sat at the table to start her breakfast.

Then she noticed that today’s fried egg was shaped like a heart.

Abigail looked curiously at Brandon.

Brandon’s expression remained unchanged. “Oh, maybe the kitchen got a new mold.”

Abigail couldn’t help but chuckle lightly. “Hmm.”

After breakfast, it was already eight. There was no time for exercise, so Brandon looked at Abigail. “Starting tomorrow, get up at six in the morning. Breakfast at 6:30, exercise at 7:00, driver will pick you up at 7:50. You can control the evening exercise yourself, either with me or on your own.”

The topic changed too quickly, and Abigail looked at Brandon somewhat listlessly.

Brandon stood up and poked Abigail’s cheek. “I don’t really care if you don’t want to slim down.”

“I care.” Abigail just felt that Brandon’s sudden mention of this was a bit disappointing. She sighed inwardly, realizing that even after falling in love, it was just as dull as before.

Unexpectedly, Brandon seemed to read her mind. “As a reward, I’ll drive you to school today.”

“Really?” Abigail responded happily, then became frustrated. She realized that her reaction just now was no different from that of a seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl, not calm at all.

“That face, are you happy or not?” Brandon said as he held Abigail’s hand and walked outside.

Aunt Claudia and Kelly were pushing Teddy and Tate. When they saw the two holding hands, they looked over simultaneously, especially Kelly, who knew nothing. “They… what’s happening with them?”

What had happened to make such a big event between the second young master and Abigail overnight?

Kelly looked at Aunt Claudia. Aunt Claudia was also confused. She had just advised Abigail to get along well with the second young master. She didn’t expect their relationship to develop so quickly!

Abigail saw their expressions as she approached and wanted to retract her hand. But Brandon held on tighter, earning an annoyed glance from her. Brandon, however, was unaffected. Instead, he looked at the two kids and frowned, finally resting his eyes on his son, not hiding his disdain. “So ugly.”

Aunt Claudia, Kelly, “…” Who to blame?

And how was he ugly?

Teddy was the cutest kid ever.

Unfortunately, the second young master didn’t believe it.

Abigail somewhat guessed the reason, wanting to laugh but holding back. She kissed both kids on the cheeks before following Brandon to the garage.

Once away from the crowd, someone suddenly looked at Abigail. “I want one too.”

Abigail was puzzled. “Want what?”

Brandon pointed to his own cheek with his long, distinct fingers.

Abigail’s mind buzzed. This man was clearly a charmer!

Whew!

“Hurry up, you’re going to be late.” Brandon urged seriously.

Abigail glanced at the time. It was true; she reluctantly stood on tiptoes to fulfill his request before they walked to the car.

She finally felt like she was really in love.

Following them was Pullan, feeling like he was invisible. Didn’t they think avoiding him was necessary?

The sour taste of love!

Because of Brandon, Pullan didn’t dare to drive the housekeeper’s old car, choosing the least conspicuous Benz instead.

In the car.

Brandon took a schedule from the folder. “You have two anatomy classes on Wednesday and one surgery class each on Thursday and Friday, both with Jeffrey Foster.”

Abigail froze, unexpected that Brandon mentioned Jeffrey Foster suddenly.

But on second thought, they had argued over her senior yesterday. Though they made up now, the main issue wasn’t resolved.

Listening to Brandon, Abigail wasn’t sure how he wanted to handle it.

If she were to continue in the medical field, she would need certain qualifications. The medical university was currently her best option.

Besides, she recently enjoyed the university atmosphere, feeling genuinely young again.

She didn’t want to give up for now.

“I won’t ask you to give up your studies at the medical university, but you must ensure no personal interactions with him outside of academic matters. This is for your safety as well as personal reasons.” Brandon saw Abigail’s expression and knew her thoughts. He wouldn’t cruelly deprive her but had other demands.

Abigail thought they would argue again. Unexpectedly, she felt touched by his words, nodding happily despite his final statement sounding somewhat righteous. “Okay.”

“Remember your status.” Brandon felt both happy and regretful, feeling he lacked principles around her.

Pullan endured the PDA the whole way. Finally, he parked outside the medical university and quietly reminded, “Uh, second young master, madam, we’ve arrived.”

“I’m off to class then.” Feeling relieved, Abigail said cheerfully, jumped out, and ran toward the classroom without looking back.

Brandon watched his little one’s cheerful back, glanced at the young students around, then looked at Pullan. “Am I too old?”

Pullan couldn’t fathom why he had to endure such existential questions, shaking his head vehemently. “No, not at all.”

“Really?” Brandon replied nonchalantly.

Pullan sighed inwardly. Was this the power of love? Even made the second young master doubt himself!
