“No, we came for breakfast, and someone disappeared early in the morning, leaving us hungry until now,” An Hao complained, looking at Qin Xue with resentment. She and Chu Xiaoqiao had brought groceries for Qin Xue to cook something delicious, but Qin Xue ran off even before they showed up.

“Are you guys for real? Or are your families so poor that you can’t afford breakfast? You come over to eat lunch and dinner, and now you want breakfast as well. What’s next, moving in?” Qin Xue asked, looking at them.

“How did you know?” An Hao and Chu Xiaoqiao asked Qin Xue in unison.

“Oh my goodness, don’t tell me it’s true,” cried Qin Xue. These two, one a pregnant woman, the other a lovely young girl, what were they up to?

“It can’t be more real,” the duo replied, nodding their heads simultaneously and pointing to the bags on the table.

“No, when they heard that I was coming over, they immediately helped me pack my clothes,” Chu Xiaoqiao said, recalling what her sister-in-law had said.

“I initially planned to stay at Qiqi’s house, but I prefer to live with you. So, I didn’t go to Qiqi’s but came straight here,” An Hao said. When she mentioned the idea of staying at Xiao Qi’s place, everyone in the Lis knew how much Xiao Qi adored his sister An Hao, so they didn’t object and even Zhaozi sent her over to Chu Xiaoqiao’s place.

“So, you guys take action first and inform later, huh? Why is my place so attractive to all of you?” Qin Xue wondered. She could understand if their homes were far away, but their homes were nearby, so why this fuss?

“Well, I can’t argue with that. Go clean your rooms. Xiaoqiao, help An Hao with hers while An Hao helps me cook,” Qin Xue said. Considering An Hao’s pregnant condition, she thought it would be better to let her sister-in-law help.
