After leaving Chu Molin, Qin Xue wanted to stop by the shop to see if there were any areas that still needed improvement.

Since I ran into you, maybe you can meet our leader and possibly help out.” An Xiaofeng suggested, although he was unsure of what was plaguing their leader. When he stopped by earlier, it didn’t seem like she was doing anything significant.

“An Xiaofeng, you’re not actually a complete doofus, are you?” Qin Xue asked, looking at An Xiaofeng.

“What do you mean?” An Xiaofeng didn’t understand what Qin Xue meant. How did he become the doofus?

“I don’t even know your gang leader, how am I supposed to help her solve her problems? And you claim that you’re not a doofus.” Qin Xue rolled her eyes in disbelief and prepared to leave.

“Ah, Qin Xue, don’t go. Seriously, I think you can help our gang leader. Please? I’m begging you.” An Xiaofeng couldn’t explain why he was so certain that Qin Xue could assist their boss, but he had a hunch. Regardless, now that he’d run into Qin Xue, he was determined to introduce her to their boss, just like he had to Feng’s assistant. Initial refusals notwithstanding, he ended up meeting Qin Xue.

When the underlings reported to him that Qin Xue had spent a long time in Feng’s assistant’s room after their meeting, he couldn’t help but be surprised, as they mentioned that Qin Xue had only spoken a few words before she was admitted into the room.
