Chapter 907: Chapter 901: A Strange Feeling_1
Jing Yuan didn’t mention going home even after finishing her meal. She kept discovering a wide range of topics to talk about, apparently not wanting to leave.
Fang Xiu knew this was her attitude, so she sat there without going anywhere. She had planned to go shopping today, and while doing so, buy groceries. However, with Jing Yuan not leaving, Fang Xiu wanted to figure out her actual agenda.
“Taotao, why don’t you go out with Daddy to see Uncle?” Jing Xin didn’t know what to say watching them, so he came up with an excuse to leave. Despite being his wife and sister, he felt somewhat uneasy being caught in between them.
“Uncle” Jingtao was thrilled upon hearing this. Although he was a small kid, he recognized who his father referred to by Uncle.
“Hmm, come to Daddy.” Jing Xin took the child from his wife’s arms and left. Fang Xiu didn’t try to stop him, but she was rather surprised. She didn’t expect that this man would leave her alone with his sister.
She couldn’t express how she felt exactly. Because she was thin, nobody could tell she was three to four months pregnant. Those who were unaware simply thought she had put on some weight and didn’t suspect her pregnancy.

“Spill it out. Why have you come here today?” Now that they were alone, Fang Xiu didn’t want to beat around the bush.
“Sister-in-law, I am here to see you and your son. There’s no other matter. Why won’t you believe me?” Jing Yuan did not expect Fang Xiu to be so perceptive, to sense that she had an ulterior motive.
“Jing Yuan, you know better than anyone whether there’s a problem. I just want you to remember that he is your brother, who has always loved and protected you. Please think about the consequences before making any decision. Don’t ruin him,” Fang Xiu wasn’t sure how to communicate her thoughts with Jing Yuan. She only hoped that she could remind her not to put others in an awkward position.
Listening to Fang Xiu’s words, Jing Yuan was lost for words. She didn’t want to ruin her older brother, but she felt that her life had been shattered. Hence, she couldn’t help feeling reluctant.
It could be said that Jing Yuan’s mindset had become entirely twisted. If she could sleep with her second brother, whom she was blood-related with, why couldn’t she be with her elder brother? Thus, Fang Xiu’s just-spoken words had no effect.
Fang Xiu said what she wanted to say. There’s no denying it if Jing Yuan still doesn’t recognize her faults. Now that her husband is not at home, there’s no need for her to continue to bear the sight of Jing Yuan.
Fang Xiu exited their business and went to another place, opening the door to start her business, completely ignoring Jing Yuan.
Jing Yuan watched them all leave; there was no point in staying around. If she couldn’t find an opportunity now, she would seek another chance.
Only after Jing Yuan left did Fang Xiu breathe a sigh of relief. The oppression was too much to bear, making her feel nauseated.
“What are you thinking about, so much so that you’re lost in thought?” Jing Xin returned with the child and saw Fang Xiu standing there, completely absorbed in her thoughts, prompting him to speak and break her reverie.
“Oh, it’s nothing. Weren’t you supposed to go find Xiao Yu? How come you came back so quickly?” Fang Xiu snapped out of her trance, realizing it was Jing Xin, and patted her startled heart.
“We didn’t go to Xiao Yu’s place. He’s studying and reviewing intensely. Our visit would have interrupted his studies, so I took Taotao for a walk instead. Seeing Jing Yuan leaving, we came back.” Jing Xin didn’t understand why the atmosphere between his wife and his sister felt a bit weird.
He preferred to avoid such awkwardness so as not to embarrass them. However, what Jing Xin was unaware of was that some issues originated because of him and that, aside from himself, no one could solve them.
