REBORN OF THE LEGENDARY BEAST MASTER-Chapter 5 - : Shocking the Grand Elder
Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Shocking the Grand Elder
As the first rays of dawn touched the Li family estate, Li Jun stood before the Grand Elder once again. His body, once frail and untrained, now carried a newfound strength.
Li Mu eyed him with curiosity. "How far did you get with the Nine Cycles Body Refinement?"
Li Jun answered calmly, "I completed the first cycle."
Silence.
Li Mu narrowed his eyes. "What did you just say?"
"I completed the first cycle."
The Grand Elder's expression darkened. "Impossible. Even the most gifted disciples take months, if not years."
Li Jun said nothing. Instead, he took a step forward and clenched his fist. A faint shockwave rippled through the air, a sign of increased physical strength. His stance was stable, his presence stronger.
Li Mu's sharp gaze studied him. There was no deception. His instincts told him Li Jun was telling the truth.
After a moment, the elder let out a deep breath. "Very well. If you truly completed the first cycle, we will move on."

With a wave of his hand, he tossed a small metal sphere toward Li Jun. "This is a Weight Core. It will apply pressure equal to a hundred times your own weight. Your next task is to train under its effects."
Li Jun caught the sphere, and the moment it touched his palm, his body felt like it was being crushed. His knees nearly buckled, but he remained standing.
Li Mu nodded. "Good. You have a strong foundation. Now, follow me."
He led Li Jun to an open courtyard where several massive stone pillars stood. "Your next task is simple," the elder said. "Strike the pillar one thousand times with your bare fists."
Li Jun looked at the pillar. It was reinforced with energy, making it harder than steel. Each strike would require immense strength and endurance.
Without hesitation, he took a stance and threw his first punch. A dull thud echoed through the courtyard.
The second punch followed. Then the third.
Li Mu watched with interest. Normally, a beginner would barely last a hundred punches before their hands bled and their energy ran out. But Li Jun's strikes remained steady, his breathing controlled.
Hours passed, and he reached the one thousandth punch. His hands were bruised, but his expression remained calm.
Li Mu's respect for the boy deepened. "Enough for today. Rest, and we will continue tomorrow."
As Li Jun left the courtyard, he knew one thing—this was only the beginning.
