Chapter 7: Chapter 7: The Power of the Beast Contract

With the Silverfang Wolf now contracted, Li Jun felt a unique connection flowing between them. His mind could sense the beast's emotions—its caution, its instincts, and its unspoken respect.

Grand Elder Li Mu watched him with a deep gaze. "You formed the contract faster than expected, but a true Beast Master must also guide their beast's growth. Your next task is to synchronize with it—understand its abilities and fight alongside it."

Li Mu gestured toward the training ground, where an array of wooden dummies stood. Some were simple targets, while others were reinforced with metal plating.

"You will engage in combat with your beast," Li Mu continued. "A Beast Master does not fight alone—your coordination with your beast will determine your true strength."

Li Jun nodded and looked at the Silverfang Wolf beside him. He activated his All-Knowing Eye, allowing him to see the wolf's current abilities.

[Silverfang Wolf – Silver 3-Star]

[Abilities:]

Fang Strike – A quick and powerful bite.

Shadow Pounce – A sudden burst of speed followed by an attack.

Howl of Coordination – Increases agility and synchronization with the Beast Master.

Li Jun smiled slightly. Let's see how well we work together.

He raised his hand, signaling the Silverfang Wolf. The beast's ears twitched, understanding his intent without words.

"Attack."

The wolf lunged forward, activating Shadow Pounce, covering the distance between itself and the first target in an instant. Its sharp fangs sank into the wooden dummy, splintering it with ease.

Before it could slow down, Li Jun stepped forward, moving in perfect sync with the beast. He weaved through the training field, instructing the wolf with small gestures and precise commands.

One by one, the dummies fell.

The watching disciples were stunned.

"How is he already this good at controlling a beast?"

"I heard it takes months to build this kind of connection..."

Li Mu remained silent, his gaze sharp. What he witnessed was beyond mere talent—Li Jun was acting as if he had years of experience as a Beast Master.

The Silverfang Wolf finished its last attack and returned to Li Jun's side. It let out a low growl of satisfaction, its respect for its master growing.

Li Jun stroked the wolf's head, pleased with its performance.

Li Mu finally spoke. "You've passed the first phase of training faster than anyone else." He looked at Li Jun seriously. "But there's something important you must understand."

Li Jun met his gaze calmly.

Li Mu continued, "You must strengthen your beast and help it evolve. A Beast Master is only as strong as their beast. The Silverfang Wolf is powerful now, but it will need to grow if you want to stand at the peak."

Li Jun nodded. Evolution, huh?

His All-Knowing Eye could already show him the best evolution paths for beasts.

This meant he could find the strongest possible path for the Silverfang Wolf.

And he would do exactly that.
