As Ella’s combined and individual marks flashed on the screen, there was pin drop silence in the entire conference room.

Nobody moved or spoke for a while.

Ruby’s marks were close to Ella but she had scored a solid ’90’ in literature which was 9 marks less than Ella’s score.

Jasmine, on the other hand, had scored way less, in the 80s scale.

The silence in the room gradually shattered as people broke into gasps and whispers.

Nobody could have betted on this outcome.

Outside the conference room.

"Woah, she got famous real quick," Kade clicked his tongue.

Ruby and Kade stood at a distance and watched Ella being surrounded by a group of over-excited students. Some of them demanded academic tips while some asked her how she did it.

’’Cough..."

Hearing the sound of light coughing, Ruby and Kade turned around.

Jasmine stood behind them, with a beautifully packaged box in her hand.

Ruby slowly stepped away from them.

"This... I..." Jasmine half-bowed, extending the box towards Kade.

Kade frowned, "For me?" he examined the box closely

The girl nodded rapidly.

"I can’t accept..." Before Kade could finish showing off his ’elegant refusal style’, the girl was gone.

On the other side.

Ella was summoned to the Dean’s office.

After finally getting rid of the crowd, Ella sighed in relief and fled from there.

Just as Ella took a step inside the Dean’s office, her steps froze. Inside the place, other than Dean Mo, Jenny and Professor Grimwood, there were two other people.

Two old men who occupied the couch with impassive faces.

Professor Grimwood and Jenny both congratulated her.

Compared to yesterday, when Jenny seemed set on dragging Ella through the fire in the public, she seemed way meek now.

Nobody mentioned the bet between Jenny and Ella. And nobody spoke of the previous scores between them.

Dean Mo continued speaking, "With this, I hope you can let go of your past prejudices and continue moving forward with no grudges like a changed person."

The moment Ella uttered those words, everyone’s sharp gaze landed on her.

Professor Grimwood then turned to Dean Mo, ’’However, Professor Jenny has constantly misused her authority by picking on a student, forming factions against her, attempting to kick her out of the university repeatedly and eventually not checking her paper. This is sufficient reason to get her punished."

Dean Mo nodded right away, "She will be suspended for a month and reflect on her wrongdoings."

"But, I..." Jenny shut up when Dean Mo’s gaze snapped to her.

Dean Mo turned to Ella, "Are you satisfied with my decision, Student Yu?"

Ella sneered inwardly. Truly an old fox.

He was asking her for her opinion after declaring the punishment.

At this point, if Ella said that she was not satisfied, she would become ungrateful and vengeful in the eyes of all the people present.

And if she said that she was satisfied, then this matter will be done and dusted. Jenny will not resign.
