Regression - Second Chance At Life-Chapter 275: Washroom

Adam continues to eat that burger of his with no concern in the world.

Seeing now-oblivious Adam acting, Loria is forced to eat her food as well, as she can’t be caught staring at Adam for no reason.

Gloria also starts eating her food, her face still looking a little flushed, but her husband is too focused on Loria to even look at his wife at this moment.

Seeing this, Gloria realizes that her husband really doesn’t care that much for her because all this time she was getting finger banged by Adam, and he never looked at her even once.

He was more worried about impressing Loria, his boss.

Now that she looks back at the few weeks that she did spend with her husband, there wasn’t really anything more going on other than sex.

The only thing her husband wanted to do was fuck her, and this might be hypocritical of her because she desires the same thing from Adam as well, but if it were just sex that she wanted, then she would have divorced her husband already.

She didn’t just want sex; she wanted a happy marriage that had it all: love, care, passion, commitment, sacrifice, understanding, and lust, but all she got was just sex, which she confused with love and other things because Shawn gave her more of his time.

But now that she looks back, she never heard him confess his love for her once; the only thing he wanted was to reclaim her through sex because that’s how she was conquered by Adam.

She realized that the photos and videos that she sent him to get her revenge still haunt her husband because someone better came and took her for himself, and her husband couldn’t handle this fact at all.

That’s why he tried so hard, but there was only so much he could try. After a few weeks, he was slowly going back to the person he was before she cheated on him. In fact, she had to ask him to take her out today, to which he reluctantly agreed.

Even when having sex recently, he wasn’t putting in the effort he put in just after finding out about her affair.

So if her husband is going to give her the same thing Adam is, but worse, what’s the point of her being married to him anymore?

She realizes seeing Adam today was a wake-up call.

She should have ended her marriage with her husband the moment she found out that he was cheating on her, but she didn’t. She wanted to get revenge on her husband, but deep down, she wanted him to care for her again, love her again like the good old days. But then she met Adam, and he showed her the heights of pleasure that she had never felt. It made her realize how much she was missing in life by being married to her husband.

She is certain that if she had met someone else other than Adam, she wouldn’t be having such thoughts, and her relationship with her husband would have continued on.

Luckily, it was Adam who caught her eye that night at the club, and now she wants better than what her husband has to offer. She wants Adam.

Everything that happened after that night until now made her realize that her husband is never going to love her like he used to ever again.

The attention he gave her recently was just because she cheated back and showed him that she can do it too; she is not the helpless woman he thinks she is.

She glances at Adam again, biting her lower lip in anticipation, hoping to catch up with him when her husband’s no longer with her.

Seeing his handsome side profile makes her heart flutter, realizing that she might be falling in love. Of course, Gloria’s not delusional.

She knows Adam has other girls; he didn’t hide it from her, and he doesn’t expect him to leave all his girls behind and enter an exclusive relationship with her because if she has to be honest with herself, there are younger, more delicious fish out there for Adam to explore.

But that doesn’t mean she can’t get to taste what Adam has to offer. She would do anything to experience that night over and over again, and Adam’s clearly not someone who’s going to refuse her after the stunt he just pulled.

Gloria then looks at her husband, Shawn. Even when he is eating, his eyes are on Loria, trying to impress her with his sweet words.

Loria herself is an extremely beautiful woman, and Gloria noticed how her husband continues to steal glances at Loria’s breasts.

’As you would ever have a chance with someone like her,’ Gloria thinks, scoffing at her husband’s pathetic attempts.

Now that the fragile lenses of marriage have been shattered, she feels nothing but disgust for the man she calls her husband. After she returns home, she is going to call her lawyer and file for divorce.

’If there is anyone who would have a chance with her,’ Gloria thinks and turns to look at Adam again, realizing that Adam might have his eyes on Loria as well. So what if she’s married, that didn’t stop Adam from fucking Gloria, why would he stop at Loria?

Gloria also noticed how they both looked at each other. There was tension, and if there is tension, there is definitely a spark, maybe a small one, but still present.

Thinking about it makes Gloria feel a little jealous, but if she wants to continue being in Adam’s life, she realizes that maybe she needs to learn how to keep her jealousy in control.

The group eats their lunch in silence until one of them finishes their portion. It’s Adam.

"That’s it for me. I am going to take my leave. I have other things to do. Thanks for the lunch," Adam says, getting off his seat and looking at Loria.

Loria looks up at Adam for a few seconds before nodding her head. She hoped Adam could provide her with something more, but given the circumstances and environment, what he did can already be considered very bold.

And now that he is done with his lunch, she has nothing to make his stay any longer.

"Well, you lot enjoy your lunch, bye~" Adam says and leaves.

Gloria watches him leave with a reluctant gaze, as she would have loved to sit next to him for a few more minutes.

Loria, too, has her eyes on Adam as she watches him leave, but unlike Gloria, Loria has a much better view of him, so she sees his entering the washroom that’s on the way out.

She doesn’t think much of it first, but then a few seconds later, one of the phones on their table buzzes.

It’s Gloria’s.

A message has come through. Loria notices Gloria’s phone light up with a message, but before she could even get a good glance at it, Gloria picks it up and reads it.

Loria, with her observant gaze, keeps her eyes on Gloria’s expression and sees Gloria’s eyes dilate after reading the message.

She becomes curious, wondering what was in that message to make Gloria react like this, but then she sees Gloria put her phone back down as if nothing happened and continue eating her lunch.

"What was it?" Shawn asks, turning to look at his wife for the very first time.

"Nothing, just a spam message," Gloria says. Shawn believes it and goes back to talking about his work.

But Loria’s attention is still on Gloria, and she can tell that Gloria’s lying as she notices the faint blush on her cheeks.

’Did Adam message her something?’ Loria wonders, as it’s the only logical conclusion.

Five minutes go by, and nothing happens. But now Loria’s getting bored with Shawn’s yapping. With Adam no longer here, she has no interest in staying here any longer, but she feels as if something more is going to happen.

’Did I guess wrong?’ She wonders, but then she also questions why Adam is still not out of the washroom. She has been keeping an eye on the washroom since Adam walked in.

"Please excuse me, I need to use the washroom," Gloria says, getting up from her seat with her phone and purse, and walks towards the washroom with hurried steps.

Loria raises her eyebrows as she can sense there is more to this than just a simple visit to the washroom. The way Gloria left, it was with excited steps, as if there was something special waiting for her on the other side.

Seeing Gloria enter the washroom as well, Loria knew she needed to be there to see what was going on.

"I need to use the washroom as well. Sandra, listen to Shawn in my stead," Loria says and follows Gloria into the washroom.

Now, the only people that are left at the table are Shawn and Sandra, who just sit there in awkwardness as they have nothing to speak about.

Inside the men’s washroom, Adam has been waiting for five minutes now when he hears the sound of heels approaching.

He smiles. ’She’s here,’ He thinks as a figure steps into the men’s washroom.

It’s Gloria.

Adam greets her with a charming smile.

"Took you long enough," He says. Gloria doesn’t answer. Instead, she rushes towards him, jumping onto him, wrapping her arms around his neck, and planting her lips on his. Kissing him with desperation

Adam welcomes the aggressiveness. He grabs Gloria by her waist, pulling her closer as he reciprocates the kiss by slipping his tongue into her mouth.
