Something about Pebbles had changed.

The change was not that obvious, but Nightstone could tell.

She gulped hard and wanted to pose many questions, but she dared not to speak.

Pebbles seemed to be in the zone and she didn’t want to disturb him.

Pebbles went through all the classes.

The Ruler Job had already given skills and he wanted to go through them, but the class was going to offer him some additional benefits!

There were a ton of things he had to consider.

If I choose Tank, then maybe I can take on any damage...

He knew that if he’d choose that, then most of his points would go directly to defense.

That was one option he was considering.

And from the rest, there were three more options that he seriously thought about.

The Assassin. The Overlord. The Tyrant.

The assassin class would make him fast, extremely fast!

What’s the point if some monster is strong if it can’t catch him?

Furthermore, he had already seen his profile where there was a limit to how much speed he could gain.

So his focus was already there and this seemed like a fantastic option especially when he’d already demonstrated his powerful tail Whip due to speed.

But he also considered these other options. It was especially because the charisma couldn’t be manually increased since he couldn’t see the stat.

However, since he could unlock it later, he quickly dismissed it, especially when he had a different perspective about this particular class.

Tyrant.

He read it again and again.

It would increase all of his stats by 15 points that it self was great!

However, his main idea was different.

If I appear scary enough, then other predators will think twice or thrice before attacking me.

Along with stats, this psychological battle would increase his survivability.

This time he didn’t consult Nightstone and clicked on this option even before half the time was over.

[Note: Description about the evolution pathways will not be revealed until and unless the host has selected one. This is done to provide a realistic experience.]

Earlier Pebbles had cursed because the system hadn’t displayed the details for the Job.

So the system decided to respond to it.

Pebbles agrees to it.

Makes sense. No baby dragon would have the entire knowledge of the world...

Since Pebbles had almost a day, he decided to take it slow.

He first calmed his mind and then finally, looked towards Nightstone who had almost extended her legs, attempting to poke him.

"Uh, what are you doing?"

The moment Nightstone heard this, she flinched.

"Ah, um, nothing!"

Pebbles smiled at her weird behavior.

He then looked ahead. The cave was small and they were simply inside the first floor.

He wanted to explore the rest of this place...

"Nightstone, we’re in a dungeon, aren’t we?"

"Yes master." She bobbed her large head up and down.

"Hmm, I want to explore this place... do you think it is dangerous?"

Nightstone’s eyes enlarged. Her body straightened.

"Master, each floor basically has a limit to monster levels, so yes, there are strong monsters ahead."

Pebbles gently tapped his lower jaw thinkiny about it.

He too thought something else.

If the monsters are trapped in the dungeon, and the resources are scarce, then only the fearsome of every kind of monsters will be ahead.

Pebbles was wondering what he’d do in the next 24 hours while deciding on the Pathway.

He had briefly looked a icon and clicked it and only after reading it had he turned towards Nightstone.

It was his second mission, a mandatory one but it did have a time limit. But the limit was simply large!

[Note: The term Explore here means the host need to learn about the terrains, habitats, Common monsters of the floor (Or) If the host can kill the Boss Monster of a particular Floor, the floor will be considered explored.]

And only after seeing this had he called out to Nightstone.

"Hmm, would you consider accompanying me to the upper floors? I want to explore..."

"Yes. Of course!" there was nothing even a moment’s hesitation.

And thus, now both stood right in front of the exit of the first floor... a small hole through where they have to crawl out.
