Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 742: Son Of The Patriarch
A few hours ago, the Patriarch of the House of Luthor had sent out orders for all to find one of his sons.
These orders were sent to the various houses in the mortalverse and the few in Original Heaven.
These orders came with heavy incentives. They were to search the mortalverse and the regions of the Original Heaven.
For those in the mortalverse, this was almost impossible.
The mortalverse was too large, Chez could literally be anywhere.
But for those in Original Heaven, this was a bit easier.
With various means that Kael had not been aware of, the cats had tracked down Chez’s last known location with his soul alone.
There was a lot of mystery around Chez’s mind and soul that Kael would have been cautious of if he knew what was happening.
Although they had not been able to lock down on his exact location due to the camouflage and time distortion performed by Kael, the trackers knew the general direction.
This hairless pink cat was one of the trackers. His eyes were focused on the three strange-looking golden lions but his mind was set on the rewards.
As long as he could find Chez, the Patriarch had promised access and protection just in case he ever wanted to go to the mortalverse in the coming future.
For Immortals like him, ordinary resources were not so appealing anymore. Immortals would sometimes search for specific experiences or moments of enlightenment that would allow them to understand or hone their powers to higher levels.
The pink hairless cat could only imagine what he would do with the time and convenience given to him by the Patriarch once he found his son.
"You! Lion, stop right there!" The pink hairless cat called out with a bold authoritative tone.
His voice burst forth like a wave of nuclear aftershock, blowing Kael’s dark golden mane and whiskers backward.
The tone he used to speak nearly spoiled Kael’s mood.
Within a few seconds, the pink hairless cat was upon Kael, floating in the sky with a fake look of disdain.
Kael frowned internally, but looked up with curiosity. He didn’t say anything, he didn’t show any facial expression, just kept a calm gaze on this hovering pink hairless cat.
Under the bright blue sky and the backdrop of clouds that had been split into two firmaments, the pink hairless cat descended slowly as his body began to transform.
By the time he was in front of Kael, the pressure from his high-speed flight had arrived, flattening all the grass in the surrounding area over a distance of ten thousand kilometres to the ground.
Kael merely squinted his eyes a little as they adjusted to their normal look.
Hovering with a power pose in front of him was a shirtless pink man dressed in blue baggy trousers.
His face was round and cute, like an old baby’s. His eyes were big and black. Two large ears sat on his hairless head
Some parts of his skin were saggy but it didn’t hide the lean athletic build he had. In terms of height in this humanoid form, he was short.
Kael didn’t use the size of his true cat form to judge him. How knew that in the immortal level, size tended to change?
An example was Emperor Zain and Ibadon who were both the size of planets in their true forms. And Ibadon once turned into a black hole that devoured an entire galaxy.
Although that wasn’t their natural default size, it was still a size they could achieve.
That this hairless cat man was small didn’t mean he was weak.
But his humanoid form was annoyingly short. Kael was starting to wonder if all Cats were just below average in terms of humanoid height.
Even as this pink cat man was hovering, when he came close, Kael had to lower his large lion head a little to look into his eyes. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Kael was about three meters currently in this golden lion true form but it wasn’t the limit of his size.
Alas, this was not due to him being an immortal but because of some laws as well as the power of the War Lionheart.
"I am Weer of the House of Luthor, who are you?" The pink hairless man asked with a voice that wasn’t too deep or too light, just enough to command a presence.
The sight was comical. A little pink man less than six feet in height casually talking to this large like whose visible golden claws were the size of his arms.
"What do you want?" Kael asked, being blunt right from the start. This man wouldn’t approach him if he did not want something.
He was an immortal, but a low-level one. Kael had never fought an immortal but he wasn’t scared either.
As a Singularity, he couldn’t even entertain the thought of backing down just because this person was an immortal.
If it was not going to help him achieve more conquests, why should he do it?
Weer frowned. His eyes darted around.
Lions were not to be joked with in this world. Yes, they were looked down on, but that’s because they were the troublemakers.
And lions were incredibly social animals, it was common to see more than one lion standing around.
Seeing three golden lions, Weer’s first thought was that these were triplets. After all, the lion brotherhood was known to be quite strong at times.
It didn’t explain the golden fur though.
"Who are you?" Weer asked. But Kael was just silent.
Then, one of the clones took a step forward, flashing to appear behind Weer.
Weer raised one of his hairless eyebrows, "This is unnecessary. I’m looking for the son of the Patriarch of the House of Luthors.
If you answer me, I can reward you..."
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," Kael said calmly, he had moved his limbs and was already walking away.
Weer sighed. Just then, his hairless brows furrowed as he leaned a little closer at the three golden lions walking away.
He hardly paid attention to the news from the outside world but he remembered that the Patriarch had mentioned something about a golden lion that was very dangerous in the past.
That was the gist of the House these days after all. A powerful golden lion that was messing up the plans of the Patriarch. But they said that he died...right?
If it were any other cat closer to the upper echelons of the House, they might have recognised Kael almost instantly.
"Wait..." Weer called out, but Kael did not stop.
Kael’s eyes flashed with caution. The Law of Bad Luck was flaring up, warning him to be extremely careful.
"You there, who are you? Which clan do you come from?" Weer demanded as he reached out to touch Kael.
By some unbelievable joke of the universe, Weer’s hand moved fast to grab the end of Kael’s tail.
