Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 789: My Suspicion
"Crazy times, crazy times!" Jordan bellowed with an uncomfortable laugh as he talked.
In his throne hall at the top of the pyramid, he was with some princes, all of them immortal.
And they were having a discussion on how long it would take before they got anything done.
There were at least two hundred of these immortals and the weakest were mid-tier while the strongest were more or less High Level Immortals.
Only Jordan, sitting on his pillow throne with a fake interested expression, was at the Supreme Level.
But besides Jordan, not all the rest were lion princes.
His granddaughter was also here and observed everything from the corner of the hall. She was at the absolute peak of mid-tier immortals and could even fight some weak High Level Immortals, but she wasn’t counted as a Lion Prince in the De’Ville Clan.
The De’Ville Clan was not really gender specific about who got to become a prince or a princess.
But most of the males were far more dominant naturally and it usually takes a special kind of lioness to match them.
Jordan’s granddaughter was unfortunately not like that.
No one should make no mistake, she was equal to Jordan when it came to trouble-making, but her style was just different.
She preferred things a bit more...creative.
"Grandfather, he’s coming," Jordan’s granddaughter spoke telepathically as she looked at the wall of the throne hall.
"I know," Jordan nodded his head.
Not just him but pretty much every immortal in the throne hall that had been laughing with Jordan suddenly stopped laughing.
Their senses were terrifying as they had noticed Kael’s presence the moment he looked at the territory, long before he even got close.
Soon, the walls of the throne hall slid the metallic plates to reveal that vast world to the lions inside.
Seeing the light, all their eyes glowed red for a few seconds, a sign that their intrusive thoughts were almost taking over.
A distant golden figure was racing toward this place fast and he was coming with enough force to blast cleanly through a star.
"Does he want to fight?" Jordan’s granddaughter suddenly asked at this point as her red eyes glowed with excitement.
After all this time, it was now that she showed a bit of facial expression. She got very interested all of a sudden and it was very suspicious.
Jordan was not one to care about these things though.
"Leave us," He ordered everyone in the hall with him. His expression was cold and calculating, trying to assess why Kael had decided to visit him.
The last time Kael came here, it was on a tour around the regions controlled by the lions.
Kael had warned all of them that anything could happen at any time and they should all be prepared.
’Was it today?’
Jordan did not want to show his excitement in front of all his princes and his daughters.
Finally,
Not daring to disobey King Jordan, the princes all flew out of the hole in the wall, turning into streams of black and red that dashed into the distance to attend to their various things.
Only Jordan’s granddaughter remained at the hole, blocking the entrance.
As Kael arrived, he saw the many lion princes all flying away and guessed that they had sensed his presence.
Almost everyone here was stronger than Kael so he was no longer surprised when they did things that he couldn’t comprehend.
However, he saw a woman clad in a black dress hovering at the entrance to the throne hall.
Under the bright sky of the Original Heaven, she looked quite charming.
But Kael was not fooled. He knew this woman. This was the granddaughter of King Jordan and an embodiment of evil in and of itself.
She was not to be trusted even with her calm smiles and her somewhat gentle gaze.
Her red eyes hid the sadism and chaos that she had inherited from Jordan. Emotionally, mentally, and physically, she was very unstable.
"Anastasia, greetings," Kael greeted telepathically.
Despite an immortal standing in front of him, Kael did not stop moving, he did not even slow down until the very last second.
*BOOM!*
Kael suddenly stopped and the atmosphere exploded. Terrifying gusts of wind blew forth, sweeping Anastasia’s black hair away.
"All-King, how are you?" Anastasia asked with a smile.
"I’m okay," Kael said simply, then disappeared. He teleported and appeared directly behind Anastasia, causing her to look very surprised.
She quickly turned around, "All-King, we should hang out sometime. I don’t mind being a second attendant for you..."
Kael did not turn back. He would never believe her. This was too direct, and too suspicious.
Even their fellow lions did not trust the words of the demonic lions.
Kael had every right to ignore Anastasia and be suspicious of her motives.
"I’ll keep that in mind," Kael said.
He simply marked her as a potential candidate for his new consort program and did not make any decision beyond that.
Anastasia chuckled, glanced at her young-looking grandfather who watched her with a questioning gaze.
Then she turned into a beam of black and red that zoomed off.
Kael, free of the she-devil’s gaze, walked into the throne hall with long strides and set his eyes upon the demonic king sitting comfortably on the pillow throne.
"King Jordan," Kael said.
"All-King," Jordan nodded and smiled, acknowledging the greeting.
And then, Jordan stood up from his throne and walked up to Kael.
Now was not the time to worry about position or status.
Standing in front of Kael, Jordan could see the seriousness in the All-King’s eyes. This was someone who had come to a point where he could not afford to make any mistakes.
Indeed Kael could not.
"The time has come, King Jordan," Kael said in a grave tone.
Jordan’s expression sank but his eyes glowed brighter.
"When will you begin your evolution?" Jordan asked as he had already scanned Kael’s body. The All-King was at his limit now. He had to evolve.
"Next five years, but before then..." Kael paused.
Jordan leaned in slowly so that he could pay more attention.
"We can begin some things now. I have a suspicion, King Jordan, I want to share it with you," Kael said.
Jordan relaxed his eyebrows, "Oh, please tell me."
Kael’s senses surged from his body and he observed everything around him. As if knowing what Kael was implying, Jordan’s power surged from his body.
Instantly, all the walls of this pyramid were shut close and all the gaps were sealed.
Jordan covered the whole territory with his invisible power, effectively eliminating the possibility of someone eavesdropping.
"King Jordan, I suspect that the cats and the other felines have been playing us," Kael said.
"Really? How so?" Jordan asked.
Kael brought his hand up and opened his palm in front of Jordan.
A three-dimensional expression of Kael’s calculations was laid bare before Jordan’s eyes.
Jordan glanced at it and understood some things.
Jordan’s expression became worse.
"It’s like that?" Jordan said.
Kael nodded, "Yes, right under our noses all this while. It was so effective because it was something none of us would have thought of."
Jordan nodded and sighed.
Alas, Kael could feel the killing intent oozing from Jordan.
Jordan was no longer in a jolly mood, he was pissed.
"Who could it be?" Jordan asked as he brought his hand up to scratch his chin, a sign that he was starting to get restless.
Kael shook his head, "I don’t know. We never gave them the right opportunity so...
Besides, you’re the only one I can somewhat count on not to compromise right now.
The others won’t understand."
Jordan nodded. He understood why Kael had come to him with this information and not anyone else.
Jordan was the perfect person to work with in this scenario that needed secrecy.
"But, there are things that need to be done before then.
What is the minimum level required to create the Crystallised Reality?" Kael asked.
"Any immortal can create it but the chances of success for a low-level immortal are almost zero.
The success rate increases with time. A supreme-level immortal has a fifty percent success rate when using the right method." Jordan answered almost instantly.
"Oh, then that’s fine.
I have completed the Freedom Formula..."
Kael dropped the news and waited for Jordan’s reaction.
As expected, the smile on Jordan’s face grew terrifying.
"But we must wait," Kael added.
"Wait? Why?" Jordan frowned.
Kael frowned too, "I’m only telling you so that we can both be onboard. We cannot afford any mistakes.
Besides, my freedom essence is not even enough to let a mid-level immortal pass through the barrier, talk more of you guys.
I have a way to break everyone out at once and it will be a very risky operation.
Also, we will not sit idle until my evolution is complete. Right from the start, we shall commence our attacks on the forces of Original Heaven.
No need to hold back, no need to be considerate.
Before we leave, we must make sure that they have nothing to threaten us with.
The Conquering will commence unbothered,"
Even though Kael said this, he knew that plans rarely went the way they were supposed to.
But at least, he should have a plan.
Kael continued talking with Jordan about some details that needed to be ironed out properly.
At the same time, Kael’s Avatar program for his consorts was reaching completion.
