Reincarnated into female-dominant world-Chapter 74: Mama
In the garden, Julian’s presence seemed to carry a hint of "Summoning Wind to Lure Butterflies"—one by one, brilliant and delicate butterflies danced around him. Curious, he extended a finger, and one butterfly gently landed on it.
"Nature favors those with a vibrant life force. As your magic grows, you’ll become increasingly... ’welcomed’," said Catherine teasingly.
"That’s not exactly a good thing," Julian replied.
Compared to attracting butterflies and being the center of attention, he much preferred a simple, uneventful life.
"When does Losiya’s competition begin?" he couldn’t help but ask.
"Judging by the timing, probably tomorrow," Catherine answered after thinking for a moment.
She could tell Julian wanted to watch it in person and smiled. "Tomorrow I can show you a live projection of the event, so you don’t need to worry about it."
"Really?"
Julian sat in his usual posture—legs drawn up and chin resting on his arms. Hearing Catherine’s alluring words, he immediately looked up with shining eyes.
His radiant joy really seemed to affect the entire garden. Butterflies affectionately brushed his cheeks, the flowers and plants looked even more vibrant, and even the sleeping cake on his lap stirred, wagging its tail and rubbing against his foot.
Julian smiled, and the garden seemed to blossom into spring at that very moment. Even Catherine couldn’t help but be moved, her eyes glued to him.
"Thank you," Julian said sincerely, hugging Catherine’s arm in appreciation.
Catherine gently stroked his head, smiling. "Good child, it’s the least I can do."
"Your magic can show live events directly?" Julian rested his head on Catherine’s arm, curious.
"Not much difference. Before leaving, I gave Losiya a memory crystal. It was originally used to record events during a set period. But after some modifications, now, with a bit of magic..."
As she spoke, Catherine opened her left hand to reveal a deep blue gemstone.
"It will show what’s happening over there right here."
"The principle is actually quite simple. It links the recording crystal with another one, allowing them to resonate with each other," Catherine explained, the scholar in her naturally coming out as she described the mechanism.
"You’re amazing\~"
Julian closed his eyes and gently touched her face with a light peck.
The mature Catherine flushed at the unexpected gesture, momentarily showing a girlish quality.
Her breath caught slightly. Julian’s action had clearly affected her, especially after the night before.
She quietly studied Julian. In her eyes, it wasn’t just gratitude—it was admiration and appreciation.
But his outward gentleness and underlying allure forced Catherine to calm her thoughts. Remembering Veronika’s evaluation of Julian, even ignoring any negative implications, Julian truly was a pure and bewitching child, even more so after awakening the Holy Seal.
This made Catherine—who viewed herself as his aunt—unavoidably worry about his future. Julian was like a rare, precious treasure—so valuable, and yet so fragile.
"Mama, what are you thinking about?" Julian’s curious voice interrupted Catherine’s thoughts.
"Nothing..."
Hearing Julian call her "Mama" made Catherine’s heart tremble slightly, and she instinctively drew even closer to him, leaning in to whisper in his ear.
"So do you want Mama to hug you for a bit\~?"
"Ah..."
Julian’s body trembled slightly, but then he allowed Catherine to scoop him up like a child into her arms.
As always, she let him sit on her lap, and both of them couldn’t help but show content smiles.
Sitting on Catherine’s soft thighs was extremely comfortable for Julian. Not to mention her natural fragrance, the candy-like softness of her lap, and the gentle maternal warmth and sense of safety that even Losiya couldn’t provide.
Catherine felt similarly. Julian’s small and light frame was as soft as air, giving her both the comfort of holding a child and no burden at all. And now, with his Holy Seal awakened, his aura was unimaginably enchanting. Every touch from last night had felt like a spark of electricity.
Interestingly, Catherine wasn’t wearing her usual full-body robe today. Instead, she wore a dark blue dress, and while sitting on the grass, the hem was teased to one side, allowing Julian’s legs to stay in direct contact with her thigh.
As Julian leaned into her embrace, he could clearly see the soft white cleavage in front of him. It wasn’t that Catherine wore revealing clothes—it was simply that Julian was nestled too close, making everything plainly visible.
He then closed his eyes, his cheeks red, and chose not to look any further.
"Mama, why did you wear this outfit today?" he asked softly.
"Because Mama’s in a good mood today. And sometimes I just like to dress up\~" Catherine replied, slightly embarrassed.
"How is it? is it Pretty?"
"Mama, your figure is so good—you look good in anything," Julian said plainly.
Even her usual conservative black robe carried a unique sense of restrained seduction on her mature figure, not to mention a more elegant outfit like today’s.
Catherine played with the necklace hanging from her neck, smiling with satisfaction.
"Does Mama’s necklace look good?" She seemed to enjoy this kind of praise from Julian and coaxed him further.
Julian opened his eyes to look. The end of the necklace rested in the middle of her cleavage, nestled against her skin.
"It looks good," Julian said.
Though, honestly, he wasn’t sure what part was actually attractive.
A moment later, Julian suddenly touched something on her hand.
"What’s this?" he asked, holding her hand.
Catherine raised her hand—it was a ring, set with a dazzling diamond.
"This is Mama’s ring," she said with a complicated tone, gazing at it.
It might be the only remaining symbol of her marriage. Now, it was mostly just something she kept as a lonely widow.
"Good child, do you want it?" she asked.
"Mm."
"Then help Mama take it off," Catherine said, lightly patting his shoulder.
Julian’s mouth dropped open, a flicker of hesitation passing through his eyes. For a moment, he simply stared at the ring, then at Catherine, as if trying to read some deeper meaning behind her words
