Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1492: I’ll Send My Daughter!
"The Scarlet Bears! They’re all dead! Every single one of them within our range just collapsed and lost their lives in mere seconds! The entire perimeter, extending for tens of miles around the castle, is now clear of any monster. Even the gates have gone dark!"
"This fast?!!" one of the leaders exclaimed, rising so abruptly his chair clattered to the floor.
The silence that followed was heavy with realisation. No one needed to ask who was responsible.
"He is indeed a man of his word," the grand leader said, a deep, booming laugh erupting from his throat. The tension that had gripped his features for days finally evaporated.
"Fine! It is settled. Prepare all of your factions. If a boy from a lower realm can bring a world to its knees with a few needles, then the Blue Purgators shall follow his lead and dominate this realm once and for all!"
The command was absolute. The council members filed out with renewed vigour, their footsteps echoing with purpose. Even the sceptics who had been whispering about traps and spies only minutes ago moved toward the ramparts with frantic energy, needing to see the carpet of fallen monsters with their own eyes to believe the impossible.
When the hall emptied, leaving only the grand leader and Bernard, the room felt silent. The leader turned his piercing gaze toward the commander. "I will begin preparing the team to send over to his world. Ensure you finalise the necessary arrangements with him."
"Right away," Bernard replied, pausing for a beat before his curiosity got the better of him. "If I may ask... Who will lead this team? It requires someone who can navigate both diplomacy and the dangers of an unknown realm."
"You wish to lead it yourself?" The grand leader raised an eyebrow, a knowing glint in his eye. "I considered it. You are the finest scout we have, and your judgment is impeccable. And you are strong enough to stand your ground against any danger. But I can see you have already formed a bond with William.
Your presence here, acting as his primary liaison, is far more valuable to our immediate survival. Instead, I am going to send my daughter.
She is young and talented, but she has lived her life behind the walls of our castle. She needs to experience the grit of the real world—and perhaps a new realm will provide the friction she needs to truly toughen up."
"A formidable choice," Bernard said, swallowing the slight bitterness of being passed over. He knew the leader was right; his role as William’s trusted bond was paramount. "I’ll go and finalise the details with him then."
Outside, William was standing atop a ridge. He had finished laying down the formation spots in a massive, sweeping circle around the Floating Castle. Using an advanced underground thread spirit technique, he had woven a web that connected every distant anchor back to his own spirit.
With a single, concentrated pulse of his power, he had launched a massive wave of Light and Lightning energy directly into the grand pool of darkness at the planet’s pool of darkness.
The effect had been catastrophic for the world’s bears and gates. The local monster gates had been forcibly shut down, and the Scarlet Bears were simply disconnected from their life source.
Only the triple gates, those massive rifts linking the Medium World to the target lower realms, continued to function. William had expected this; those gates were related to external realms and didn’t rely on the Medium World to survive, which was a stroke of luck he intended to exploit.
As the immediate threat vanished, William sat down on a stone, waiting for the Purgators to make their move. He knew their history—or at least, the history he had learned in his past life. They were legendary for their pride and arrogance, but they were equally famous for their rigid code of honour.
They never forgot a debt of kindness, and they were the most fervent supporters of anyone standing against the dark masters and strong monsters of the upper realm—especially those who dared to defy the Fox.
William knew he had played his cards perfectly. When he saw Bernard’s familiar silhouette approaching from a distance, he felt a wave of internal relief.
Bernard delivered the council’s decision with a mixture of excitement and solemnity. When he reached the part about the leaders’ request to send a scout team back through his gate, William didn’t even blink. He had already figured out their true intentions: they wanted to verify his story and secure an escape route if this world proved untamable.
"Fine by me," William said, shrugging with a casualness that hid his true thoughts. "But let me issue a fair warning first. My world is currently a slaughterhouse. We are in the middle of a total war against the same Scarlet Bears you see here. The end of the world is happening right now in my home. It won’t be a sightseeing tour."
"Don’t worry about that," Bernard said, nodding in acknowledgement of the warning. "The group will be composed of our most formidable masters. And as a sign of our commitment, they will be led by the sole daughter of our grand leader herself. She is more than capable of handling these monsters."
"Ah, if that’s the case, then it’s fine, I guess," William said, a small smile playing on his lips. He took the matter lightly on the surface, but inwardly, he was already tallying the advantages.
Having high-tier masters from the upper realm—especially the daughter of the Blue Purgators’ leader—fighting alongside the Fox Guild back home was a massive bonus.
William didn’t know he was about to witness the biggest surprise of his entire life, and the most complex dilemma he would ever have to face.
As he turned his back on the valley’s edge and began leading Bernard toward the anchored gateway that linked the Medium World back to his home realm, he was unaware that his own world was currently undergoing a bizarre phenomenon that no one knew how to explain.
