Chapter 33: Chapter 33: SAMATHA

"Why the forest though?" She asked even though they lived in the middle of nowhere.

"We already live in the middle of nowhere." She added.

"Yes, we do, but it’s what she wants." Adrian replied.

"And when she is there the plants would act as a defense, only Derek can pass through." Olivia said in case Ariana wants to go to the forest.

"Derek?" She asked in confusion.

"Yes!" Olivia replied.

"Why him though." She asked again.

"Derek is her mate so the plants won’t harm him. Besides they are very protective of her." Olivia replied once again.

"The plants are protective of her." She asked in confusion; it was her first time to hear of such a thing.

"Yes, you probably never been to her room." Olivia mentioned.

"No! Why? Does no one enter her room?" She asked.

"No, you can. Ask her to show you when she comes." Olivia replied.

"What is in her room?" She asked, now she was curious to see what was in Samatha’s room.

"Her room is like a garden in door." Olivia said, Adrian seeing this is going to be a girl talk decided to leave.

"Her room has plants indoor and vines everywhere. There are flowers too, her room is the best." Olivia said in envy.

After thirty minutes Rosemary walked in with Austin behind her carrying all her shopping bags.

"Where are you going to put all these shoes?" Olivia asked her, her eyes widening at the shopping bags in Austin’s hand.

"I don’t want to talk to you." Rosemary said walking past them.

"Come on, don’t be like that." Olivia said walking up to her and hugged her.

"That is not going to work on me." Rosemary said lifting Olivia’s hands from her.

"You could have gone with me." Rosemary added.

"I could, but you know yourself." Olivia replied pointing at Ariana.

Ariana was now sure that she hated shopping the most. Back when she was in the pack, she always envied those that would go to the mall. She never got new clothes let alone wear heels, when it came to clothes, she would get the clothes that didn’t fit Ava anymore.

Cellphone had to be the one that Ava didn’t want anymore, their parents had shown that she was just the unwanted daughter time and time again, it had been her who kept hoping that she would receive their love one day.

"Rosemary, it was nice that you took me to my first heel shopping. But please next time reduce the time and I’ll come with you." Ariana said gratefully.

"You mean it." Rosemary asked her, her eyes going wide in anticipation.

"Yes, I am waiting for you to give me the heels walking lessons." Ariana said causing Olivia to turn to look at her.

Rosemary and Austin went upstairs to their room. Olivia rushed and sat next to her.

"Are you ok?" She asked grabbing her shoulders and turning her to face her.

"Yes, why?" She asked raising her brows.

"It’s just that you want to go shopping with her again." Olivia replied.

"I just never realized that she was actually too sweet. The whole time she picked shoes and showed me telling me how it would look and what outfit it would go with. I have never been treated so well like how you guys treat me." She said seriously.

"We are all family." Olivia replied.

"Stop getting sentimental in everything we do." Olivia added.

"Bad habit." Ariana said with a laugh.

"Did you think of what you want to do?" Olivia asked her in terms is she wanted to study.

"I don’t know what I want exactly." She replied looking down.

"Don’t worry you can come with us so long. I am sure you get tired of being home alone." Olivia comforted her placing a hand on her shoulder.

Hours passed and everyone returned home, Derek went to his room but saw Samatha nowhere in sight. He went down.

"Where is Sam I can’t find?" He asked.

"Forest!" The girls replied and he nodded and in a flash he was gone.

He reached the place where he knew she would always come to mediatate.

The leaves opened making a way for him to pass through.

"Sam!" He called out when he saw that she her.

"Derek!" She called out to him opening her eyes and turned to look at him.

"You came to fetch me?" She asked to which he nodded. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

"I feel better." She said walking up to him.

"Hmm!" He replied and she held his hand.

"Shall we take a walk back." She asked swaying their hands.

"Sure!" He replied.

Samatha and Derek were both people who spoke less, for them even in silence they would enjoy each other’s company. They walked in silence just the two of them under the stars.

"Let’s lie down here." She said pointing to a place.

She moved her hand and made a bed with leaves. Derek sat and held out his hand helping her. They lay down on their back watching the stars.

"Derek!" She called out to him softly.

"Yes!" He replied.

"Do you ever want to have kids." She asked softly looking up.

"Why do you ask?" He asked, it was the first time she ever brought the topic up.

"We actually never talked about it so..." She trailed off.

"Well, I never thought of it. Do you want a child?" He asked turning his head to look at her.

"Mm!" She replied.

"How many, I don’t want a lot like your parents." He spoke.

"Maybe one, after all it will only be or a few months before they become mature, and it’ll be like we never had a baby." She replied.

When a female vampire got pregnant, she would carry the fetus for two weeks then give birth. Every day the child would grow and after two years the child would reach maturity and then they would stop aging and be frozen at that. It was why her parents looked more like their age mate.
