REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 41: I’M PREGNANT?

A few days passed and during training Ariana kept feeling weird, she tried to push it aside but then she couldn’t take it anymore.

"I don’t know why I am feeling weird?" She asked the girls drinking blood.

"Ariana did you notice that you have been drinking a lot of blood these days?" Rosemary said when she saw Ariana taking another bag of blood.

"I have not!" She replied looking at the blood bag.

"She’s pregnant!" Amelia said walking into the room.

Amelia took a seat and turned to Ariana who came over with the blood bag in her hands.

"WHAT?" They all shouted in shock.

"Mommy is auntie going to give me a little brother or sister." Isabelle turned to her mother.

Ariana froze in place when Amelia said those words. The last time she was pregnant she was rejected and when she left the pack, she was attacked, and she ended up losing her baby.

In the middle of the crisis at hand, everyone was busy training for the upcoming enemy, and she ended up being pregnant.

"Adrian is going to be so happy, besides this child is really something." Amelia said with her eyes going white, showing that she had seen the future.

"What did you see?" Avery asked curiously.

"I won’t tell you." Amelia teased and turned to look at Ariana who was still frozen.

"I can’t be!" She shook her head.

"Yes, you are. Being able to see the future and the past is not all that I know. I am also a doctor remember." Amelia replied.

Samatha stood up and walked up to Ariana, Samatha took the hand of the frozen Ariana and sat her down on the couch.

"Why? Do you not want the baby?" Rosemary asked seriously.

"No, it’s not like that. I thought I would never get pregnant again." Ariana said with a weak smile.

Ariana placed her hand on her flat stomach.

"You will the child kick in a few days." Morgan replied.

"Our kind is lucky, our pregnancy only lasts for two weeks, so after two weeks you can expect to see your baby." Samatha replied placing her hand on Isabelle’s head.

Ariana sat there listening to all they talked; she was just worried if Adrian would be happy as well knowing about her pregnancy.

"I’m going out for a walk." Ariana said standing up.

Ariana didn’t look back at their reactions.

"What’s up with her?" Audrey asked walking into the room.

"She’s pregnant, but she is overthinking if Adrian is going to happy with the news." Olivia replied, she had been in Ariana head before she walked out.

"Her last pregnancy wasn’t good. It was the time we found her, and she was badly injured." Amelia responded.

Outside Ariana walked and sat on the seat that was there.

"Should I go and talk to her?" Audrey asked.

"No mom, I think she needs some time alone. She was just reminded of her first pregnancy." Amelia said looking in the direction to where Ariana sat.

Ariana sat with her head buried in her hands. ’Adrian is nothing like Hunter.’ Ariana comforted herself saying before making her way back inside.

"Are you okay now?" Olivia asked coming to her side.

"Baby, go and play with Aaron." Samatha said to Isabelle.

"Okay Mommy!" Isabelle said her face beaming and she ran to look for Aaron.

"Aaron, mommy said you should play with me." She said when she found Aaron training.

"I don’t have time to babysit you." He said casting her a glance.

Isabelle looked at Aaron with her big eyes, showing how she was hurt by his words.

"Why don’t you go to one of the aunties?" He asked looking at her.

"Aunties are all trying to comfort Aunt Ariana." She said playing with her hands.

Aaron looked her, Isabelle looked down on the ground giving the image of a child being disciplined. He looked at her and sighed.

"Fine!" He said sighing, he was giving up.

"Let’s go back inside." Aaron said giving Isabelle his hand for her to hold

Isabelle took his hand, they both walked back into the house and Aaron took Isabelle to his room when he felt the tension.

"I’m pregnant?" Ariana said with a question mark on her head.

Adrian walked into the room; he found all the girls sitting around Ariana.

"Is everything fine?" He asked walking closer to them.

"Yes, Ariana has something to tell you." Olivia said and stood up.

All the girls stood up as well giving them privacy. Ariana looked at Adrian and was playing with her fingers. She felt scared and avoided his gaze.

Adrian came and sat next to Ariana. "What is it that you want to tell me?" He asked looking at her.

Ariana looked at Adrian but then looked away after a while. The words she wanted to say were stuck in her throat, she opened her mouth to say something but then no words came out.

"Ariana, you’re scaring me now." He said when he her standing up.

Ariana stood up and started pacing the room.

"I don’t know how to say this." She said with her voice shaking.

She ran her fingers through her hair and looked at him again.

Adrian stood and joined her where she was standing. He grabbed her by her shoulders stopping her from walking up and down.

"What could be so bad that you don’t want to tell me." He asked seriously.

"I’m pregnant!" She said without looking at him.

"What?" He asked not believing what he was hearing.

"YES!" She said taking his hand and placed it on her stomach.

Ariana nodded nervously and was shocked at what Adriana did next. Adrian picked her and twilled her around.

"I’m going to be a father." He said laughing and pulled her into a hug.

"Adrian!" She called out to him; he turned to look at her and help himself and kissed her.

"Were you scared that I’ll not be happy." He asked cupping her face.

"Yes!" She replied.

"We’re about to enter a war and I got pregnant." She replied thinking of the war.

"The war means that now we have a lot more to protect." He said his hand on her stomach.
