REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 49: YOU’RE ALIVE

Everyone met downstairs with their suitcase. Today was the day they were going to departure and live with Ariana’s former pack.

"Ariana you sure, you ready to do this?" Samatha asked.

"I am!" She replied holding Sophia’s hand.

"Let’s go!" Logan announced looking at his younger siblings.

Each couple went in the same car, Aaron went in the same car with his parents. Dylan walked to Adrian and Ariana.

"I’ll go with you guys." He said opening the door.

"Okay!" Ariana nodded and handed Sophia to him.

Dylan took Sophia and placed her on the seat, he fastened her seatbelt and nodded to Adrian to drive. Sophia soon fell asleep; Dylan wrapped his arm around her small body.

Samatha, Derek and Isabelle were the first ones to arrive, next Logan’s car pulled next to them, and they got out of the car. Hunter, Ava, Casey and Bradley stood there waiting for them.

Ivan, Morgan and Aaron soon arrived as well, Olivia and Josh arrived as well.

"I am Logan, this is my mate, Amelia." He said introducing himself.

"This is my sister Samatha and her mate Logan with their daughter Isabelle. My cousin Ivan and his mate Morgan and their son Aaron. My little sister Olivia and her mate Josh, Tyler and his mate Avery." He said when all of them stepped out of their cars.

"My brother and his mate are on their way." Logan added.

Amelia looked at them coldly, when she saw their faces, all she could see was Ariana’s bloody body the night they found her.

"Hey!" Josh and Tyler offered a cold smile.

"You must be Casey?" Amelia turned to look at Casey.

"Yes, you know me?" Casey asked in confusion.

"Somehow!" Amelia replied and smiled at her.

They looked at Amelia smiling at Casey and were even more confused.

’Why are you smiling at her?’ Logan asked her through their mind link.

’She was the one who was good to Ariana.’ Amelia replied back.

"Nice to meet you, Casey." Logan said and went forward to shake her hand.

When the others saw Logan’s reaction, they stepped forward to shake her hand as well. Hunter was the alpha, but Logan didn’t even shake his hand, all he did was greet and introduced himself.

"Where is your brother and his mate?" Hunter asked irritated, after all he was the alpha, but Logan didn’t shake his hand and instead, he went and shook Casey’s hand as a sign of respect.

"My brother will be here soon." Logan replied.

"My brother said we should be the last ones to arrive." Adrian replied reading the text.

"Why?" Ariana asked him, she was puzzled.

"He says that he wants you to make a dramatic entrance." Adrian replied.

"Dramatic?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Yes, his word." He said passing the phone to her.

"Okay!" She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Is she still sleeping?" Ariana asked Dylan.

"Yes!" Dylan replied.

Adrian looked at Arian who was looking out the window. Was it a good idea for to be back here, what if she broke down like how whenever Amelia went back to Svalbard.

How would she feel to see mate who was her first love.

"Don’t worry I feel nothing for Hunter." Ariana spoke when she heard his thoughts.

"Back then, I prayed that he doesn’t end up as my mate, but it seems like that prayer was not answered. Him being my first is mainly for the mate bond that clouded me." She said turning to look at him.

Adrian looked her and she pushed his face away.

"Face the rode and drive." She said chuckling.

"My love is only you." She said before looking out the window again.

Adrian wanted to say something, but then he decided that it was best for him to keep it to himself. The car was in silence till they got there.

"Dylan, can I trust you to protect her?" Ariana asked.

"You never need to ask." Dylan replied.

"My brother is here!" Logan said when he saw their car.

’What is it?’ Hunter asked his wolf who was pacing back and forth in his mind.

’I smell a scent that was familiar with Ariana’ His wolf replied.

’You mean...you mean she is alive.’ Hunter stuttered.

’Let’s see, but I don’t smell her wolf. Maybe I am mistaken.’ His wolf replied when he remembered that he couldn’t smell Scar’s scent.

Adrian opened the door and came out.

"Brother sorry for being late." Adrian said when he walked up to them.

"It’s fine, you’re here now." Logan replied.

"Where is your mate?" Hunter asked peeking at the car.

He didn’t know why he felt nervous all of the sudden. Ava turned to look at him.

"Why are you acting like that?" Ava asked eying him.

"None of your business." Hunter hissed in a low tone but all of them heard him.

’Thank God, Ariana is not with him.’ The girls thought to themselves.

"Come love!" Adrian called out.

"I guess it’s my turn now." Ariana said turning to look at Dylan at the back.

"Should I take her?" She asked.

"It’s fine I got her." Dylan replied picking Sophia up.

Ariana opened the car door and stepped out of the car. Hunter saw her figure and his eyes widen in disbelief.

"She’s alive!" He mumbled under his breath.

Adrian held his hand out for her, when Ariana reached them and took Adrian’s hand.

"Ariana!" Casey looked at her best friend in shock.

Casey was shocked to Ariana and let go of Bradley’s hand before running towards Ariana.

Ariana let go of Adrian’s hand and embraced Casey who came charging at her.

"You’re alive!" Casey pulled out looking at her with tears rolling down her cheek.

"Casey, I missed you." Ariana replied hugging her again, she held Casey who held on to her tight.

"What happened to you?" Casey asked seeing her red eyes.

"She is my mate!" Adrian said looking at Hunter in the eyes.

"Can’t be, she is my mate." Hunter said possessively.

"Ariana, you’re alive." Hunter said softly not believing his eyes.

"Why? Was I supposed to be dead?" Ariana turned and her eyes immediately went cold.

"No, that’s not what I mean." Hunter said nervously walking towards her.

Ariana pulled out of the hug.

"I’ll tell you everything later." Ariana said smiling at her.

"Ariana!" Bradley called out to her; Ariana turned to look at him coldly.

"Ariana, I was wrong I am sorry for how I treated you." Bradley said apologetically and walked up to hug her.

Ariana walked back to Adrian, and he wrapped his hand around her waist.

"Get your hands off her!" Hunter roared with anger looking at Adrian.

"Alpha Hunter, I suggest you get your emotions in check." Logan warned.

"Why is he touching her? She’s mine." He roared again.

"Why would he touch me, I am his just as he is mine." Ariana casted him a cold glance.

"Ariana, did you forget. You are my mate!" He looked at her pitifully.

"Your mate? Did you forget your mate is right next to you." Ariana retorted pointing at Ava who was next to him.

Hunter looked at Ava and shook his head.

"She’s not, I made a mistake." Hunter shook his head pleading with his eyes.

"Mistake? She wears your mark." Ariana replied sarcastically.

"I am a mistake?" Ava asked Hunter pulling his arm to look at her.

Hunter tried to shrug her off.

"Ariana, you’re alive we can be together now. I realized my mistake; I can make it up to you." He said pulling Ava’s hand off him.

"Ariana, did you come back to steal Hunter from me?" Ava accused turning pointing at Ariana.

"Oh please! Who wants to steal him?" Ariana said sarcastically.

"Only you can cherish trash like that." Samatha added.

"Where is our accommodation.?" Logan asked.

"I’ll lead you." Casey said breaking the argument.

"We arranged for you guys to stay at the pack house." Casey said.

Hunter stared at Ariana who was looking at him, her eyes cold. ’As long as I apologize, she will be able to forgive me.’ Hunter thought to himself.

’Hunter, I can’t feel her wolf.’ His wolf’s voice ran in his mind.

He looked at her, only to see the eyes that used to be green were replaced with red ones.

"Ariana, your eyes?" He asked in shock.

"I don’t owe you explanation." Ariana replied coldly and she and Adrian joined the rest of their family.

"Hunter, what the hell was all that?" Ava asked turning him to look at her.

"Let’s end this." He said seriously.

"Why?" Ava asked in anger.

"Ariana is back, I’m going to make it right with her." He said shrugging her hand off.

"You are not going to leave me. I will not allow it." Ava said shaking her head.

"You will not!" Ava shouted in anger.

"I’m sorry, but I should never had taken you as my mate." Hunter said looking in the direction where Ariana and Adrian were.
