Soon, Heena sat in her room as the door opened. The five men entered and froze.

Like, literally froze.

Heena was sitting there in her bathrobe, legs crossed, water still dripping from her body. Some skin was visible through the damp fabric. She looked damn sexyโ€”well, at least thatโ€™s what Heena thought. She was leaning lazily on one hand that rested on the sofa armrest, looking completely unbothered.

She looked at them and said, "Oh my, what caused my dearest husbandsโ€”who were so busy that they donโ€™t even have time to โ€™dieโ€™โ€”to come here? And using the free pass, too?"

They just stood there, stunned, looking at her.

Not because they thought she was too beautiful.

It was because suddenly the trauma flashed back. They remembered her sitting exactly like this beforeโ€”same posture, same sofa, cross-legged with her hair loose. Of course, not wearing a bathrobe that time, but a nightgown. And then came the torture. Some of them literally trembled, still trying to control themselves.

Prince Kieran took a step forward, bowing stiffly. "We greet Your Majesty."

Heena looked at him and said flatly, "Save that greeting for your father."

Kieran looked at her, confused. "Excuse me?"

"Excused," Heena said dismissively.

Kieran tried again. "Iโ€™m sorry, Your Majesty, I do not understand what you mean."

Heena looked at him with a taunting tone. "Ah, you do not understand? So pitiful. Looks like all that education has gone into the gutter."

They looked at her again, clearly trying to maintain composure. "Your Majesty, we just want an audienceโ€”"

"Oh," Heena interrupted, "so you want an audience? Or did you just stand in front of my door and start shouting like some homeless person?"

System 427, floating on the side, muttered internally, โ€™"But Host, what do shouting and homeless even have in common?"โ€™

Heena replied mentally, โ€™"Well, they both annoy me. Do you want me to give you a better example?"โ€™

The system responded helplessly, not knowing what to say.

On the other side, Prince Kieran clenched his hands. "Your Majesty, I apologize for that. We had to barge in like this, but youโ€”"

Heena interrupted him again. "Okay, so you โ€™knowโ€™ you barged in, and you want to apologize. Well, I do not want to forgive you right now. Get lost."

They looked at her, clearly frustrated. "Your Majesty, we want to ask you something."

"Oh," Heena said, voice dripping with sarcasm, "and I do not want to answer. So what are you going to do, consort? Oh sorryโ€”โ€™concubineโ€™. Ah, whatever you are."

All of them were stunned. Like, couldnโ€™t she at least remember their titles? Their positions?

Duke Adrien stepped forward, bowing slightly. "Your Majesty, we want to ask what happened today."

His tone was careful, measured.

Heena looked at him and said, "Ah, so do you think I am a news reporter? Or do you think I am your servant? Your secretary? Oh no, maybe Iโ€™m your advisor, huh? That Iโ€™ll just tell you what happened today?" She waved her hand dismissively. "Go and find out yourself. Why are you asking me? Why did you use this pass?"

The system was frantic now. โ€™"Host! They are male leads! You canโ€™t justโ€”"โ€™

Heena shot back in her mind, โ€™"Fuck the male leads. How dare they disturb my bath?"โ€™

Duke Adrien took a deep breath. "Your Majesty, I have heard what happened. I want to ask you โ€™whyโ€™ you did it."

Heena looked at him and said, "First, get your question right. First you ask me what I did today. Then you say you already know what I did. Then you say you want to apologize. But then you say you want to ask something." She tilted her head. "First, decideโ€”do you want my apology, or do you want answers?"

This time, Damien walked forward calmly. Heena really did not want to talk to this bastard. She knewโ€”Damien was like a rock you had to carefully navigate. Even talking to him was a problem.

Damien smiled at Heena. "Your Majesty, now can we talk properly?"

Heena sighed internally because she literally did not want to have a debate with this spy master. She was worried she would lose her mind and definitely kill him, and then the system and the mission would go up in flames. So, no.

She looked at him. "Ah, you want to ask questions. What would I get in return for answering you?"

Damien shot back with a sinister smile. "You are the ruler of this kingdom. You are our wife. And I think that as your husbands, we have at least this much rightโ€”that we could ask you for a simple answer."

Heena nodded slowly. "Wow. You know Iโ€™m your wife. You know Iโ€™m the ruler. But you just barged in here without even asking permission." She pointed at her bed. "And now youโ€™re talking about being a ruler and being your wife. How aboutโ€”" she gestured toward the bed, "โ€”you want me to โ€™proveโ€™ it?"

The others shut up immediately.

Damien shot back with the same sinister smile. "Oh, if thatโ€™s what Your Majesty wants, we can certainly do it. But I just heard that you found someone โ€™elseโ€™ for thatโ€”some prince from another kingdom." He looked her up and down. "May I ask, why did you make this decision? After allโ€”" his smile widened, "โ€”itโ€™s not like you can handle five men, and now you want a sixth one?"

Heena shot back immediately. "Oh my, please. Come on, sweetie. Is it really โ€™meโ€™ who cannot handle you? Or is it โ€™you guysโ€™ who could not handle โ€™meโ€™?" She leaned forward. "If not, how can it be that all of you are so incompetent that you couldnโ€™t make me give birth after such a long time?"

Damienโ€™s smile faltered slightly, but he recovered. "Your Majesty, donโ€™t you think itโ€™s โ€™yourโ€™ problem?"

Heena smiled back sweetly. "You really think itโ€™s my problem? Then letโ€™s wait and see. If Prince Larus gets me pregnant within one year and I give birth to twin childrenโ€”โ€™thenโ€™ we can talk about whose problem it is."

That shut him up.

He looked at Heena, clearly reassessing. "Your Majesty... so you are quite serious about getting married to this Larus? Oh, I mean, โ€™Princeโ€™ Larus."

"Obviously."

"So, what position do you think of giving him? A consort?"

Heena looked at him like he was an idiot. "Why would I give him the position of consort?"

They all sighed in reliefโ€”literally. "So... concubine? That means he would be lower than us, right, Your Majesty?"

Heena shot back again. "Are you crazy? Why would I give him the position of concubine?"

They paused, literally shocked. "A... lover?"

"Are you โ€™insaneโ€™?" Heena snapped. "Why would I give him such a โ€™lowโ€™ position? He is chosen by me. So of course he would be the mainโ€”" she paused deliberately, "โ€”the Empress Consort. You know, the main wife position."

All of them were shocked into silence.

This time, Prince Kieran spoke up, voice tight. "Your Majesty, you cannot do this."

Heena shot back. "Oh, really? Do I need to get your โ€™permissionโ€™?"

Kieran took a deep breath. "Itโ€™s not that, Your Majesty. But Prince Larus is not from this kingdom. You cannot just appoint someone you want as your main consort. Weโ€”your current consortsโ€”are the ones who served this kingdom and have been together with you for a long time."
