Return With the Billionaire Baby Daddy-Chapter 105: her plans
At 11:30, Karina relaxed on the balcony terrace while watching a drama on her laptop. The girl sat back in her chair, propping up her laptop with her legs crossed lazily.
"I think I should carry out that plan now before it’s too late. I need to contact Damian... Make sure he doesn’t come here this afternoon," she thought to herself, then grabbed her phone from the table and called Damian.
"Hey, Karina?" Damian greeted from the phone, his voice sounding relaxed yet with a hint of footsteps as if he was walking. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, everything’s fine," Karina replied lazily. "I’m just too lazy to do anything... I easily get tired so I haven’t even been to the kitchen to warm up the food I cooked this morning. But I’ll ask Anna to warm it up if you want to have lunch here," she continued, then bit her lower lip, seeming nervous.
"You just need to rest, and you shouldn’t eat that kind of food because it’s too many calories... It might be bad for your heart health... I mean, you should eat fresh, low-calorie food..."
"Yeah, thanks for your advice."
"Maybe I can’t have lunch there this afternoon... I have to meet a client from Hawaii. We’ll have lunch together at a cafe, I hope you understand," Damian sounded hesitant but Karina just smiled.
"Don’t worry, you can have lunch wherever you want," Karina replied with a thin smile.
"Okay, rest now, see you tonight."
"See you..."
Karina hung up the call and sighed in relief, then got up from her chair, carrying her laptop.
"Now I just need to get Anna out of here. I don’t want her eavesdropping on my activities!" she said curtly as she walked towards her room.
She shut down her laptop and placed it on the table, then took out a black card from her wallet and immediately brought it out of the room.
"Anna!" she called out loudly. "Anna! Where are you?" She glanced around until her eyes found Anna coming out of her room.
"What the hell are you doing? Why did you call me so loudly as if I’m a deaf girl?" Anna asked with an annoyed look.
Rolling her eyes immediately, as if fed up with Anna’s attitude starting to get bold, she quickly threw the black card at the girl’s body until her hand reflexively caught it.
"What?" Anna was surprised.
"Honestly, I’d rather be alone here than with you!" Karina said curtly. "I want you to leave, do whatever you want with that money. But that doesn’t mean you can buy a house or a car or an apartment!"
Anna stared at the black card, thinking about many things she could do with it.
"You have to come back by 5:00 in the evening," Karina said with her proud face.
"It’s up to me!" Anna immediately went back to her room without wanting to pay attention to Karina’s response.
Karina gritted her teeth. ’I also have to end this fake illness drama soon. I’m tired of dealing with that damn girl... She might eventually enslave me!’ she thought to herself, then quickly returned to her room and sat on the sofa while trying to contact Tristan.
In just a few minutes, Karina finally connected with Tristan.
"Tristan?"
"I haven’t made any progress on my efforts to keep Valeri away from you," Tristan said curtly. "If you want me to do that, then I can’t. It feels so difficult to separate them because they still seem to be close even though they’re also arguing. I’ve seen this phenomenon many times and... I’m frustrated right now."
"I’m also confused about what to do. I just want some entertainment now," Karina said with her wild gaze, running her fingers through her hair while imagining Tristan’s face and his muscular body. "Can you come here?"
"Emm... Why?"
"Don’t you understand?" Karina asked, rolling her eyes.
"I know, but aren’t you mad at me because I can’t give you what you want right now?" Tristan asked.
"Because I’m mad, you should be responsible for making me happy now," Karina replied lazily. "Come now before I change my mind!" she continued firmly.
"Okay... I happen to be having coffee not far from your apartment. I’ll be there in 10 minutes."
Karina immediately ended all those calls and smiled wickedly, as if imagining the success of her new trick. Hmm, what exactly was she going to do?
...
At her home, Valerie felt powerless. She just lay there, occasionally rereading her novel on her phone. She even canceled making Daniel’s favorite pudding.
The doorbell rang.
"Oh my God, who is coming?" She covered her face in frustration.
The doorbell rang again.
Valerie sighed heavily, annoyed, got out of bed, and walked to the living room, then opened the front door.
"Gea," she greeted.
Gea frowned, seeing Valerie looking disheveled with messy hair and only wearing a gray nightgown with open sleeves.
"Did you just wake up?" she asked.
"Yeah..." Valerie walked to the living room sofa, while Gea followed. "I’m so tired so I want to sleep all the time." She immediately sat down and rested her head on the sofa’s arm.
Gea sighed, leaning her body against the sofa’s arm, then stroked her stomach while scratching.
"Is your stomach itching?" Valerie asked with a smile.
"Yeah..." Gea answered with a pout. "I don’t know why ever since I got pregnant my stomach often feels very itchy, even at night I scratch it endlessly so the next day my stomach is slightly red... Have you ever experienced this?"
"Yeah... Most pregnant women can feel that because of pregnancy hormonal... But supposedly it’s a sign that your baby will have thick hair," Valerie explained with a slight laugh, looking at her who looked beautiful wearing a tight nightgown that couldn’t hide her slightly bulging belly.
"Really?" Gea raised her eyebrows.
"Hmm... But don’t scratch too often because it’s not good for your skin... Many stretch marks will appear."
"So what should I do? I often feel itchy and it’s bothering me!" Gea looked frustrated.
"You just need to buy a special cream or oil for your stomach. There are many products you can try." Valerie offered a solution, then closed her mouth because she suddenly yawned. "I’ve tried that method before and it worked," she continued, then sighed.
"If it will help a lot then I will buy it."
"Good..."
"Pregnancy moments annoy me... And maybe after your problem is solved, I won’t let Jerry work too hard because I want him to always be by my side... Let my parents cover all the childbirth costs and whatever I need," Gea said, remembering her wealthy parents who lived in Las Vegas. "Sometimes I think, what do you feel when you’re pregnant without Damian by your side? I think it would be very distressing for you because I really can’t be away from my husband!"
Valerie smiled thinly.
"It does feel very sad... It’s like a nightmare, but I always consider it beautiful every time I imagine the cute baby."
Gea chuckled. "I also always imagine cute babies when I feel upset."
"Hmmm..."
"Don’t get pregnant before you and Damian are officially married. I want you to feel how happy it is when the man who got you pregnant also pays attention to you... .it will feel so beautiful," said Gea with a smile, buying her stomach.
Valeri immediately fell silent and remembered the sexual activity with Damian this morning.
’He ejaculated inside almost at the same time as me... Looks like I have to order pregnancy delay pills. He will do this often because he can’t control himself,’ he thought worriedly...
