"Ehh?... Nothing happened last night? Jeff-senpai didn’t fuc—you!"

While two of her female friends were squabbling, throwing vulgar words at each other that instantly caught the attention of everyone around their group, Veena was trying to drown her sorrow by drinking non-alcoholic drink.

Her seduction attempt on her beloved senpai had failed since she immediately fell asleep last night as soon as they hit the bed. To add to that, she didn’t get to spend the whole day with him since her friends dragged her away as punishment for hiding the date of her return from her vacation abroad. And to make things worse, she would start staying at her college dorm tonight. If she had a choice, she would want to keep staying in the same apartment as her beloved senpai.

"If you ask Jeff-senpai, I’m sure he’ll let you stay at his apartment tonight," the third of her female friends said, secretly drinking alcohol even though she wasn’t at the legal age to drink yet.

As for where Veena and her friends were drinking, they were currently at the open field in front of the Business Administration College, attending the welcome party for first-year students.

Electric lanterns had been set up all over the place to illuminate the dim surroundings as evening came. There were open tables for students to gather, grills to cook free meat, and drinks—non-alcoholic for everyone, and alcoholic beverages for senior students who were welcoming the newcomers.

"Then I’m gonna call Jeff-senpai right now!" Veena shouted excitedly, acting like she was drunk, her face blushing red—confusing her friends as to whether she actually was.

Veena took out her smartphone from her sling bag. The moment she opened the screen, a new picture of her and Jeff—taken just last night while they were bonding with a bit of intimacy—showed up as her wallpaper. Yet it was no surprise to her friends. After all, she had basically been showing and bragging about it to them and to everyone among their new acquaintances at college.

There was even a large icon—a customized picture of Jeff—that would dial his number in a single tap. But before Veena could tap the icon and call her beloved senpai, a guy grabbed her phone and took it away as he stood beside her.

"Aren’t you sure your senpai isn’t gay?" said the guy, as tall as Jeff but with a slender figure rather than muscular, and a good-looking face instead of Jeff’s ruggedly handsome one.

"After all, if I were with you instead, something would definitely happen between us—and I’d make you my girlfriend that night," he said, implying he had overheard their conversation.

"Give my smartphone back!" Veena tried to get her phone back, but the guy raised his left hand—the one holding it—so she couldn’t reach.

"I’m your Dex-senpai, by the way. You probably heard of me or already saw me today—"

"I don’t care who you are!" Veena shouted in anger—or more precisely, like someone lashing out while drunk.

Veena’s outburst caused a commotion that got everyone’s attention at the welcome party. But the one they were actually looking at wasn’t Veena or the infamous senior student Dex, but the large, ruggedly handsome, muscular guy standing behind him, accompanied by two more equally dangerous-looking men with murderous glares directed at everyone.

"I only want Jeff-senpai!"

Veena then started crying, looking at the ground in frustration.

"Umm... Veena..." her friends muttered, trying to get her attention and tell her to raise her head and look ahead.

"Come on, don’t be angry, Veena," Dex continued with a perverted grin while leaning closer to her, not realizing the danger lurking behind him.

"Does this smartphone have any sentimental value, Vee?" Jeff said as he snatched Veena’s phone from Dex.

"Jeff-senpai!"

Veena rushed toward Jeff upon noticing him, pushing Dex aside to hug him like a child, not caring about anything else. She didn’t even pay attention to Jeff’s question.

She was already drunk—that much Jeff could tell from Veena’s behavior.

Looking at the drink Veena had left on the table, it was indeed non-alcoholic as the label said. So Jeff could only think of one possible reason.

This freaking bastard intentionally gave her a swapped bottle, Jeff thought, assuming that the guy in front of him—the one glaring at him—was among those bastard members of the idiotic organization Fresh Girl Hunters, and was indeed targeting Veena.

Just thinking of that organization’s name was enough to give Jeff goosebumps—disgusted by the thought of someone calling themselves a member of such a cliché-named group.

Setting aside his disgust...

"Who the heck are you? You’re not from our college, so get out of here, or else..."

I guess I’ll just have to apologize to her later.

At that thought, Jeff smashed Veena’s phone straight into Dex’s face, breaking his nose and knocking him to the ground before catching the now-broken phone mid-air and giving a flat, fake apology.

"Ah—Sorry, it slipped from my hand."

—"Who the heck would believe that!?"—

The loud complaint of the crowd was immediately followed by more than a dozen guys surrounding their group.

They were clearly outnumbered five to one, but Jeff, Kris, and Marc wouldn’t back down from a fight. However, Jeff didn’t exactly bring Kris and Marc with him for a brawl—they were there to protect Veena’s friends and take them to their dorms.

Besides, Jeff hadn’t intended to cause a fight at all. They’d get suspended if they did. But that didn’t mean the bastards surrounding them—probably members of FGH—wouldn’t get their punishment.

Regardless, that punishment would be served later.

Right now, their punishment was a sudden, painful erection that could hurt any guy as it got stuck in his pants, leaving him unable to move and forcing him to kneel, trying to hide his obvious bulge in the middle of the crowd.

"What the heck is happening to them?" one of Veena’s friends asked as they all hid behind Kris and Marc.

"It’s the boner dilemma," Marc said, recalling his own experience.

"Did your seniors put something weird in the drinks?" Although he wasn’t sure what was going on, Kris decided to use the opportunity to cause a commotion—blaming the seniors students from the Business Administration College before their group could be blamed.

"Shit—!"

"Gyaaah~!"

The panic and commotion caused the welcome party at the Business Administration College to come to an abrupt end, ruining the FGH bastards’ plan to hunt for first-year girls—at least until their undying erection subsided.

Despite being completely drunk, Veena was still able to comprehend that it was her beloved senpai who was with her. But that was exactly why she was crying—overwhelmed by happiness that Jeff was still at her side.

Still, for someone who had gotten drunk for the first time, gulping down alcohol like cold water, Veena was indeed feeling unwell—with a headache and nausea.

"If you keep crying, your condition will only get worse."

As if jinxing himself:

"Vee!"

With that, Jeff walked the rest of the way toward his apartment like a proud boyfriend carrying his drunk girlfriend.

When Veena recovered from her drunkenness, she found herself in Jeff’s apartment, wearing his white shirt, lying on the sofa with her head resting on his lap.

Jeff had, of course, undressed Veena—leaving only her undergarments—cleaned her by wiping her body with a bath towel, made her wear his shirt, then taken a shower himself.

That wasn’t crossing the line or breaking his resolve not to make a move on Veena until she was of legal age.

It was like seeing Veena in a swimsuit and touching her while playing on the beach—at least that’s how it was in Jeff’s perspective, even though he knew that, for girls, swimsuits and undergarments were worlds apart.
