Isla actually knew where Arthur was sitting, and because of her interest in him, she would sneak glances at him every now and then.

When she saw him take out his phone, looking like he wasn't interested in what she was talking about, she couldn't help but knit her brows.

Someone can be indifferent because others don't listen to them when they're talking, but that feeling of annoyance is definitely there.

Isla took a deep breath to calm herself before continuing her words once more. "Quarter-Life Crisis is a time when we start to feel confused, doubt, and depressed about the future where we start to be unsure whether we can live well....."

She spoke quietly, but at first glance, there was a kind of strength in her voice that allowed people to easily understand what she was saying and at the same time, constantly be curious about what she would say next.

This is of course purely speaking skills. Even though Arthur was busy minding his own business, his ears were still open in the end. The way Isla spoke and conveyed things was interesting enough even for someone like him that he glanced at her every now and then.

If she were to become a teacher at this school, she would definitely be better than other teachers at educating the students.

About 45 minutes later, she finally finished her lecture. It was enough to make the students show expressions like they had just had a great epiphany.

However, after she finished, she did not leave immediately. She looked at the students once again. From her expression, one could tell she wanted to ask their opinion.

Some were actually happy about it, especially bright students like Cale. He wanted to show his quality once again to make up for his previous failure.

Unfortunately, Isla's gaze eventually stopped on Arthur so Cale pouted, almost grinding his teeth.

"That one there, Arthur, could you give me an opinion or some advice on the Quarter-Life Crisis?" she asked Arthur.

The students all stared at Arthur, waiting for his opinion as they were still curious about him and knew that his words could give them some good insight.

"Quarter-Life Crisis huh?" Being asked, Arthur put his cell phone on his thigh.

However, right after that, he shook his head. "I rarely think about this, so I'm not sure what kind of opinion to express," he said.

The truth was that because it was his old experience, he never thought about it again. And while he had that kind of experience too, like any other young man, it was ultimately something without twists and turns.

At that time, what bothered him was when the people of his generation had advanced further. Then, he just forced himself to train. The moment he surpassed the others, all sorts of disturbing thoughts just disappeared.

Of course, it came up again when he went into stronger territory and found he was quite insignificant compared to his generation there.

However, the second one had always been easy to deal with, so he quickly stopped thinking about it ever since it appeared.

"Well, I guess we do need to accept the fact that we're not special and need to understand that there are too many people with extraordinary abilities so that later we won't be too shocked when we see some people have achieved very great things. In this school, for example, there may be students with low scores, but they already understand the world far above the others, have various skills that can easily make a lot of money."

Not being able to accept the fact when seeing others progress further is the main cause of the Quarter-Life Crisis. Arthur didn't like overly long-winded explanations, simply telling the students that they should stop overestimating themselves.

"Was one of those students you?" Asked Isla.

"You can think of it that way!" Arthur didn't argue, just smiled slightly.

Of course, even without him, there were still other students. Alex for example; he must be among the top of his generation since he was able to be part of an organization that controlled some of the world's powers even though he was still in high school. Maybe among students who like to sleep, there are some who are busy planning their future.

Students like Cale who were busy seeking attention were simply insignificant.

In fact, the man's face became less pleasant because he felt like Arthur was make him as an example.

On the other hand, Isla cleared her throat softly at Arthur speaking so directly, without any modesty.

She thought what else she needed to say to him, but couldn't find it. Plus, Arthur also seems quite lazy to talk about it.

She then looked for another student to talk. Perhaps for some reason, she didn't pick Cale who looked like he wanted to speak.

This time, she chose Nova, who sat at the forefront.

"If you had a Quarter-Life Crisis, how would you handle it?" she asked her.

Accustomed to being asked questions by the teacher in class, Nova did not lose her composure when asked by Isla. She just adjusted the position of her glasses as she thought.

"I will focus on developing myself further," she replied.

"What if that doesn't work?"

"Maybe I'll find a new place that suits me better."

"It's a rational choice, very good if you're the type who prefers the quiet life over great accomplishments."

After saying that, Isla asked the other students again.

There were about ten students she asked, including even Bella, who confidently said that she would not have a Quarter-Life Crisis.

Until the very end, Isla did not ask Cale at all.

The man's face turned pale because of that. He felt like he was being discriminated against.

Remembering that Isla had previously returned to school with Arthur, he began to suspect that she was deliberately ignoring him.

"Another whore that bastard conned," he said in a low voice as he exited the hall. He no longer had any admiration for Isla.

When he saw the woman chatting with the teachers, his mouth turned into a sneer. 𝗳𝙧𝐞𝚎w𝗲𝚋n𝚘𝙫𝑒𝘭.𝑐om

Leo who was always with him couldn't say anything about it. Even though he did not fully justify Cale, he did think that Isla was indeed being very unfair to Cale.
