Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 131: TIME TO STEP UP HIS GAME
By the time Asis and Sean had reached the bungalow house they lived in, it was already too late, there was a pair of shoes that belonged to a man outside in front of the door.
Sean and Asis looked at each other with dread in their hearts hoping it was just some visitors but then Asis closed his eyes and opened them back up with them this time around looking dead and emotionless, he gave himself a little talk in his heart that he should not be bothered by what ever Silva was going to do now.
"I’m sorry." Sean apologized feeling pity for the boy, "no need to apologize it’s not your fault." Asis said coolly like he was not even bothered at the thought of being almost beaten to death.
After a moment of silenc, Asis went forward and slowly twisted the door knob with his little hands quivering with fear of the unknown, although he had pretty much resolved in his mind that he was not going to react to whatever was going to happen next but the quivering reaction was something that had been instilled in him, there was no doubt that his body feared Silva more than anything because of the pain he had inflicted on it.
It was during this moment that Asis burned with hate for his parents thinking that they had left him with Silva, it would have just been better they had let him die off on the street or they serve him to vampires as food so they could suck his blood dry till he does from lack of blood but no, they decided to give him eternal toture by putting him into the hands of a mad man who took pleasure in disciplining him as Silva would call it.
"Asis!!" Silva called out the little boy with a stern look on his face seeing him open the door, he had sat on a chair adjacent to the door so he was able to see who came through it immediately.
"Good day Father." Asis greeted in a low voice with reluctance, Silva had always forced him to call him father, sometimes after beating and starving him for days, Silva would ask Asis to thank him for the punishment and would make sure that he called him father.
There was no day that Silva failed to remind Asis of how he was ’abandoned’ by Amelia and Damon, "I am the only one that would want such a useless trash like you, no one else wants you not even your own parents, so you better treat me well so I would treat you the same." Silva would always say repeatedly that any time he started, Asis could always guess the next words that were coming out if his mouth.
"Where have you been? I got back and I did not meet you at home." Silva questioned sternly as he looked at Asis fiercely, "Sir, it’s my fault, I forced Asis to go out with me despite knowing that you would complain, he did not want to but I told him if he did not I won’t be his friend any longer or talk with him." Sean tried to take all the blame for Asis as he felt that he was more mature and coild bear the pain of the whip lashes, "Don’t be dumb." Asis said to Sean coldly, it was the same thing every time, Sean would try to protect him and he sometimes too would would end up getting hit by Silva, although Asis appreciated the kind gesture does not mean he loved to see Sean get punished for his misbehaviour, as a man he should be responsible for each and everyone one of his actions and should not let others take the blame or fall for anything he did.
"I was the one that forced Sean to go out with me not the other way around." Asis said with determination in his eyes, he was trying to be strong to protect the one he cared about, Silva sighed before rising up from his seat and approaching Asis with long strides.
When he reached closed enough to him, Asis closed his eyes anticipating the cigarette burn or a slap which was his basic punishment but he was when he got pulled into a big warm hug by Silva.
Sean who was already prepared to start begging on behalf of Asis felt his mouth drop finding it unbelievable or was it probably another form of punishment, Sean wondered confused at what was happening.
"I’m sorry my dear Asis, I have not really been a good person to you." Silva apologized patting the little boy’s hair gently, Asis felt stunned that he was unable to speak, there were different emotions that he could not identify at the moment.
"See, I know this is hard to believe but I’m a changed man now, I have learnt my lesson." Silva knelt down so he could reach Asis’s height and see him clearly.
"Your parents are the most foolish people in the world for them throwing you out, you need to forget all what I said in the past, I was saying that because I have been trying to heal from a past wound but you have to trust me now, I am all better." Silva said beaming with smiles, Asis stared at him confused wondering all what Silva was going on about as he could not understand him or maybe because he was too scared to understand him and only to become disappointed again later on.
Seeing that the boy was not responding to him, Silva took his hands in his and smiled, "What I am trying to say is that would you forgive me?" Silva asked with a soft smile, Sean looked back and forth between Silva and Asis as he felt like he was watching those telenovela dramas that humans act, either way it was almost unbelievable that Silva would apologize.
Asis stared for a while before slowly nodding his head, while Silva smiled before pulling Asis into another hug, when the little boy’s thin hands slowly wrapped around him, Silva eyes flashed with murderous intent as he smirked, now it was time to step up his game.
