Amelia had finally devised a plan to get Asis DNA, "Asis? Can I come in?" Amelia knocked on the door.

Ever since he started living with them Asis has been mostly locked inside his room, and hardly came out because he did not want to interact with any of them.

Asis saw all of them as cheats and liars, seeing Amelia at his door, he side, "You can come in." He said with no emotions in his voice.

Amelia smiled gently and walked into the room before going to sit with him on his bed.

"I know this is difficult for you to get used to but just so you know Asis, I love you very much as your mother." Amelia said using her hands to rub his hair gently.

"I know, I am just overwhelmed with shock of being reunited with my family, I don’t know what to feel." Asis lied through his teeth, he had to keep the façade going, for the sake of Silva, he had to lie with a smile on his face just to deceive them and make Silva proud.

"I thought as much, just remember that you now have people to talk with and even a sister who is your age range if you don’t feel like sharing anything with me or your father, you can go to her to talk." Amelia advised softly.

"Dad, is dad happy to see me?" Asis asked in a low voice and rubbing his hands nervously, he did not know why he was still bothered about what his heartless father thought about him.

"Your father." Amelia sighed sadly, "Your father is a man with twisted opinions and decisions but over all everything he loves you and your sister very much." Amelia explained with sadness in her heart, since Asis has been staying with them and since their fight, he was hardly at home, she has always wondered what he was doing outside but it was best for him to stay out because if she sees his face she might end up remembering what he had done by not telling her about Asis’s supposed death.

"Mmh." Asis said in a low voice as he really did believe what Amelia had said.

"You may not believe me but trust me when I say it’s true, he is just twisted up there." Amelia said after a while and started laughing thinking about the cute moments with Damon.

"Okay I’ve heard you." Asis said smiling softly, "Okay then, I will go now." She said smiling before standing up to leave.

"Mom?" Adara called out seeing her mother in a daze, "Yes dear." Amelia snapped out of her daze and looked at Adara who raised her brows at her, "What are you doing here?" Adara asked a question in which the answer was obvious.

"I came to see your brother, I’m heading out now, I will see you later, okay?" Amelia rushed out before Adara caught on to something or else she might blame her for not trusting Asis, she needed to get the DNA test done for now.

"All that talk is trash, so what you want to do for today?" Adara beamed as she asked, Asis seeing her smile was not able to get mad at her any more.

"I don’t really feel like doing anything today." Asis declined, he was trying to avoid having emotional attachments to any of his so called family members.

"Little girl can you leave me alone I need to study." Asis laughed at her cheeky behaviour, "I’m not a little girl, we are literally the same age." Okay then what about if we practice together, I use spells against you, and you use your demon skills against me that way you get to study and train at the same time." Adara suggested.
