Chapter 158: YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYED

Damon weak laughter full of disbelief sounded in the room making Asis feel like he was being mocked as he clenched his fists tightly glaring at the direction in which Damon was contained.

"So that’s the lie he has been feeding you." Damon said finally after he had stopped laughing he did not know if this son of his was even smart at all that he would believe that nonsense.

When Asis did not give any reply, Damon spoke further, "Let me guess, he maltreated you for some years and after some time he came back home apologising saying it was your mother and I fault for his behaviour and then the bastard starts showering you with love?" Damon guessed accurately with a weak smile on his face, "So it’s indeed true." Asis snorted taking it that since Damon knew about it then he was finally admitting to doing those things.

"After showering you love for some while, He thought it was the right time and sent you to our home right? You wanted revenge and you also wanted to keep the love that Silva started showing you, you were scared as you did not want things to go back as they were before." Damon paused after saying those things and raised his head to see Asis wavering face, "My dear son you have been played." Damon added with a weird look on his face.

"If you think I will feel guilty and let you out, you are just dreaming, you and Amelia are nothing but a lying and scheming couple." Asis said coldly trying to extinguish the doubts that were building in his heart.

"Fine, don’t believe me, but why did he give you a different story to say when you came to our home, and why did your mother instantly believed that you were her son before she even took the liberty to do a DNA test, if we had indeed abandoned you as Silva said then why?" Damon raised more questions strengthening Asis doubts.

"Shut up!! Father would never lie to me!!" Asis roared blaming himself for being ungrateful and listening to what Damon was saying.

Damon eyes went cold as he heard Asis address Silva as father, "Of course your father would never lie, so do you think I will lie?" Damon sneered, unable to take it any longer, Asis turned around and left closing the door hard behind him.

After he left, the pain that Damon was facing became more evident on his face as he groaned, just now, although Max had stabbed his chest he deliberately missed his heart and every other vital parts so the hole was just an extraordinarily big flesh wound.

"That brat does not even see it." Damon thought out loud with disappointment evident in his voice.

"Father!" Damon heard a tearful voice exclaimed, he looked up and his eyes widened with shock and relief.

"Adara, what are you doing here?!" Damon asked hiding his pain as he did not want his daughter to see him in such a situation but seeing him with all the cuts in his body was enough to make Adara’s eyes water.

"You don’t have to worry dad, this is just a holographic figure and also mother is fine, she was rescued right on time before Silva could do anything." Adara immediately said knowing her father’s worries and Damon finally breath a sigh of relief as he felt that fhe heavy weight on his chest has been lifted.

"How did you get here? Quickly leave, I don’t want you to be seen by Max or he would target you too." Damon said hurriedly, "We placed a spell on that tab and sent it to Asis in the guise of Silva to show you, at first we thought your rage would be enough to get you out but seeing you now I doubt that, I guess we have to result to plan B now." Adara explained looking a bit disappointed, she had expected to see Damon in a bad situation but had not expected it to be as bad as this, her father has always been her pillar standing in front of her ever ready to protect her, seeing him bound by chains looking all weak was extremely heart breaking for her to behold but she just had to be strong.

"I got it, now leave quickly." Damon urged while trying to look at the door to see if anyone was coming, Adara nodded and immediately disappeared at least they knew where Damon was placed now, the only challenge they faced now was breaking him out of the place.

Damon gaze softened when Adara left, he could have never believed that one day he would have to rely on his beloved daughter to save him from distress.
