She decided to change the subject so as to divert his attention from what he couldn’t get for the moment.

"Can you show me your fire ability?" She requested as she pulled Lu Zhen towards the bathroom.

"Sure." Lu Zhen answered and followed her into the bathroom.

She brought him here because she was worried about him not being able to control his ability. If the fire accidentally went astray, they wouldn’t be able to put it out. However, the bathroom didn’t have many flammable things and there was plenty of water too. If something caught on fire, it would be easy to extinguish.

Stretching out his hand, sparks appeared at his fingertips and soon they turned into small balls of fire. This was the first time Leng Pan had seen such an ability. Apart from hers of course.

Looking at the fire that had caused the temperature in the bathroom to spike, one could imagine what would happen if a bigger ball was created.

This was indeed mutated fire. Such small fireballs could make a space as large as their bathroom to turn into a sauna in a minute. If that fire touched something, it would burn to ashes in seconds.

Seeing her start to sweat, Lu Zhen immediately extinguished the flames.

"Are you okay?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"I am okay. Don’t worry, if I wanted, I could produce water to cool down a little." Leng Pan said to comfort Lu Zhen.

Of course, it was only to comfort him, if she dared to produce water to cook down the bathroom would turn into a real sauna room. With such high heat, the water would turn into steam within the blink of an eye.

"You practice your control over your fire ability here. I’ll go to the next room to practice my water ability. The sooner we can control our abilities, the safer we will all be." Leng Pan said as she pecked her husband on the cheek and left the bathroom.

Lu Zhen was left standing there in a daze as this was the first time his Panpan had taken the initiative to make an intimate move. Even though it was only a peck on the cheek, it was real progress. He hoped that they would keep moving forward like this in the future.

He would give anything to have his wife stay with him forever.

Taking a deep breath, he steadied his emotions and started to practice his control over fire. Even though this was his first time, he still made progress rapidly.

Leng Pan went to the guest room next door to practice her ability. The truth was that she wanted to practice away from Lu Zhen so that he wouldn’t realize how unfamiliar she was with her ability.

After claiming she was reborn and that she had the same superpower in her previous life, it would be illogical for her not to know how to use it.

Having limited power was understandable since she had to start from scratch, but not knowing how to use the water ability to attack or defend would arouse suspicions.
