Two minutes later.

Sam sat on a stone protrusion that he created in the middle of the room. He looked at the two men kneeling in front of him. The woman is still lying on the floor completely unconscious.

Sam wanted to kill these people, but when Sam overpowered them within a second, they became subservient. But Sam could tell that it is all an act. They are afraid of him, that is true, but they are definitely not submitting to him.

He wanted to just kill them. But the initial thought went away. Sam didn't want to dispose of them directly. Even though he could get the required info after killing them, he just wanted to use them as a card when dealing with this woman.

So, all Sam did was suppress them quickly and try to get some info out of them.

"We were ordered to kill her by someone. Her cultivation is completely sealed.

We just wanted to save her and get some money from her. That is all."

Sam didn't speak for a moment and asked.

"What do you know about this place? Is this yours?"

"No. This is the altar of Satan. Very few people come here. People believe that when someone sacrifices something worthy enough in this place, Lucifer the Devil will satisfy one of their wishes. He never appeared himself, but stories say that he sent someone in his stead to solve those problems,

For the past decade, this place was sealed by some of the neighboring powers. They abolished the worship of Lucifer. So, we thought this is the best place to hide."

"How did you get in if this is sealed?"

"There is one secret passage into the tunnels from the valley. A stream goes through this tunnel. We just used that and came here."

Sam nodded and walked towards the woman.

He placed his hand on her head and slowly started injecting his spiritual energy. He used his observation ability to check what happened to her.

The first thing he noticed is obviously the seal that these people mentioned.

Just like they said, her body is indeed sealed. And a seal is placed on the Spiritual core as well.

But that is not even the most shocking thing he encountered.

He saw something that made him feel a bit disturbed. Her body is internal bleeding and the place where she is bleeding is actually the place where a uterus is supposed to be.

Her uterus has been cruelly and forcefully removed. The worst part of it all is when Sam injected his energy to try to heal her, he realized that the people actually made it so that the Uterus cannot grow back.

They sealed the wound by partially healing it and it seems like it has been a long time since the severance has occurred. It is impossible to remove that at this point of time.

Sam didn't like this situation one bit. He immediately stopped bleeding and started performing surgery. While he is doing that, his shadows held the two men in their place.

After over an hour, Sam finished the surgery and healed all her ailments, except he didn't manage to heal her uterus.

He felt a bit disappointed. He felt a bit angry too for some reason. He might not know the full story, but he sure as hell knows that whatever happened is a nowhere near acceptable thing.

Sam fed her some medicine after the surgery is done and as the three men watched she slowly woke up. She still didn't have much energy left, but she is not going to die of these injuries. All she needs is some time to recover.

The first thing she saw is Sam's stoic face and she became instantly nervous.

She tried to get up and run, but her legs didn't cooperate. Because her cultivation is still sealed, her body is not recovering at the pace that it should have.

Sam helped her sit down properly. But as soon as he touched her, she screamed.

"LET GO!!!"

Sam froze on the spot and he felt some weird energy trying to hold him in his place. It is a very familiar feeling, but it is so faint and so weak that if Sam isn't so observant, he wouldn't have even bothered to notice it.

But when he understood what kind of energy it is, he was shocked.

"I am sorry if I made you nervous. But I am here on someone's behalf to meet you."

Sam took out an envelope and gave it to her.

She didn't want to touch it, but Sam said calmly.

"If I wanted to kill you or do anything else, I could do it with a snap of my fingers. I don't need to have some elaborate plan to do so."

He pushed the envelope forward. That woman finally took the envelope and as soon as she touched it, she fell into some kind of daze for a moment.

After two minutes, she looked at Lucifer's statue and smiled. Her smile is filled with self-pity.

Sam didn't say anything and let her take her own time.

But after five minutes, she looked at the two men that brought her here and said to Sam.

"We can talk now. But can you kill those two? Only then will I be able to talk to you. I cannot stand their presence."

Sam didn't even look at them. The shadows slit their throats before they could even speak. He has no use for them.

She finally heaved a sigh of relief as she spoke.

"My name is Maya. If you want to understand my story, you need to understand my constitution. I have Pseudo Divine Constitution. It means..."

"You are born to a couple of Divine Cultivators who are at their prime and you were born with a special body which hosts the Divine energy that shouldn't exist in Mortal Bodies.

Your physique is better than anyone of your peers and you have inherent senses that are better than most creatures. And on top of it all, you are able to perceive and sense Divine energy as well as Celestial energy without any effort.

This makes you a living detector for the Divine energy resources that are very rare and almost impossible to find."

Sam finished her sentence, saving her the trouble of explaining herself.

Maya was a bit surprised, but she nodded and said.

"Yes, that is the gist of it. But what you might not know is that even among the very few who possessed this constitution, I am in a different league. It is to the point every cell of my body possess some Divine energy."

"So?"

"This made me much more attractive to the gods. I followed multiple religions and prayed for multiple gods, based on the beliefs of my mother, father, and my mentor.

And all these gods combined gave me a gift. They enhanced my constitution and purified my soul. I am closer to the holy beings more than any other creature at my level."

"I don't know if that is something to brag about. So, what happened after you got this blessing."

"Well, it turned out that is not a blessing for me. It is for the seven organizations that are following the seven gods I prayed to. The gods told these seven organizations about a very secret hidden benefit that my body possesses.

A benefit people didn't really think of.

So, the seven organizations that were initially trying to poach me, stopped that and ganged up together to do something else. Then only I realized that the secret these gods mentioned is actually in my womb.

I was forcefully shared by these seven organizations and over the past seven years, I have given birth to seven children. Every child was conceived by me when I was forcefully taken by the geniuses of these seven forces.

Now they all have a child with a variant of Pseudo Divine Constitution. I was a breeding object for them and they took all of my seven children away from me.

And every time they consummated with me, they felt their bodies purified bit by bit. It was addictive. I was vilified every chance they got. I prayed for all the seven gods all my life, and I got to talk to them more than anyone else I knew. But during these seven years, they never bothered to any one of my pleas.

After the seven powers each had a child, now it is time for them to get rid of me before the neighboring powers came looking for me. So, they sealed my cultivation, removed my uterus, and then sentenced me to death.

But one of the people who mated with me didn't want me to die. So, he assigned these idiots to the task of killing as a guise and take me away to hide somewhere.

But these two guys got greedy and had their own plans. They took me to this abandoned place and tried to heal me to have their own benefits.

When I lost consciousness I looked at that statue. Lucifer, the Devil goes against everything I was ever taught since I was a kid and prayed for once.
