Rise of The Anti God-Chapter 780: The Giant Ghoul

"No...these ghouls are the worst. They are from a tribe named Bloodcrust, and every single one of them finds pleasure in torturing us before eating our flesh. That's how t-they...killed my..." The woman was unable to finish as she began to break down.

Lily felt bad after seeing that this woman must have been quite terrified after suffering from the ghoul's attack.

She gently helped her up and said, "Thank you for warning us. But we have to first get you two to a safe place. Come, follow us. What is your name?"

"M-My name is Jina..." The woman said, her eyes still wandering.

"Okay, Jina. Stay close, and we will get through this," Lily said softly while her three sisters narrowed their eyes upon seeing two ghouls flying toward them.

"You guys want to take care of them, or should I?" Yuria asked with a smirk.

"I got this," Valentina said as her ruby-red eyes glinted with a fierce light.

"RAWRRR!!" The two ghouls roared in excitement upon seeing more delicious humans, but their eyes were filled with uncertainty upon noticing this woman standing in front, having her aura suddenly rise.

Valentina simply slashed at the air with her hands twice to form an 'X', and immediately two blades of blood manifested in the air before shooting toward the two ghouls.

*Shlick!* *Shlick!*

Jina had her eyes widened in shock when she saw those two blood blades cleanly cut those two ghouls into two halves, making it quite a gory sight.

The blood from their severed bodies didn't even start flowing out until a few moments later. She couldn't gulp when looking at the back of this young woman who had such terrifying power. Were the other three as powerful as her as well? Then maybe...there might be some hope. But then, thinking about how these ghouls weren't the scariest bunch, she couldn't help but still feel scared.

"Let me hide these two until we are clear," Reva said as she led Jina and Rita towards a hidden corner of the nearby building and said, "Don't worry about the ice. It will conceal your presence and even protect you till we get back," Saying so, Reva began to construct the Frost Barrier of Doom around the two as the two of them watched on with hopeful eyes.

"Reva, get back quick! We got a troublesome company!" Yuria's voice echoed in Reva's mind as she narrowed her eyes and immediately flew out.

The moment Reva came out, she saw a giant ghoul wearing shoddy metal armor that was stained with blood and carrying a bloody machete just like the other ghouls around here, with the only difference being this machete was way bigger and quite unsettling to look at with some human flesh still sticking to it. Its mouth was dripping with blood as well, which surely didn't belong to it.

Reva couldn't help but wrinkle her nose in disgust upon seeing this, but she didn't dare underestimate this one since it was giving off quite a heavy pressure, though she was unable to discern its cultivation.

"Everybody...careful..." Lily said with an anxious look as she took out her longsword while the other three spread around to assume a battle formation.

Reva took out her icy bow as she jumped a few steps back. After Alex suggested her to be the archer in her team, Reva decided to start using a bow. She wasn't really unfamiliar with this kind of weapon since it was something she had practiced since she was young and actually preferred it more than other weapons.

But because of her father, who insisted she switch to a melee weapon, she had to let go of it.

Yuria called upon her Spirit Weapons as all kinds of melee blades floated around her.

Valentina took out her hand scythe as she gripped the blood-red chain extending from the weapon.

All of them had focused expressions since this giant ghoul was giving off an unsettling vibe.

"Humans...All of your flesh smells fresh...I will enjoy eating you all," He said with an unnerving smirk in a hoarse voice.

The four were surprised since this was the first time they heard a ghoul speaking in their language, and they also seemed more intelligent than the rest they had seen so far.

"Not if we butcher you first," Valentina said coldly as she threw her hand scythe at him, trying to tear off his neck or at least pull him down after hooking her blade into his flesh.

But the ghoul smirked as he raised his machete to block her scythe as the chain of the hand scythe wrapped around his weapon.

Valentina's eyes fiercely shone as she tugged at her chain to make him fall down. But to her surprise, his feet barely budged by an inch.

"Too weak, hahaha..." He burst into a thunderous laugh that made Lily, Yuria and Reva feel even more anxious since Valentina was the strongest among them, and yet it seemed this giant ghoul was definitely stronger than her.

But he wasn't done as he used his machete to pull the chain towards him, making Valentina's feet drag through the mud.

And suddenly, he wildly moved his arm towards the left, making Valentina fly off her feet and crash against a building, making it crumble down under the staggering impact.

"That's enough!" Reva said with killing intent in her voice as an icy arrow manifested between her bow, and she immediately fired it toward the ghoul.

The arrow spread a chilling aura as it sped through the air, freezing the space around it. But the giant ghoul simply smashed the arrow in two with his machete, "Even weaker," He said with a wide bloody grin.

"Eat this, you ugly pig!" Yuria lashed out as she sent all her spirit weapons to attack him from all directions. Even an early-level Profound Ethereal Realm cultivator will be minced meat if they get attacked by the barrage of these spirit weapons.

But the giant ghoul snorted as he stomped the earth underneath him, shaking the earth as some of the earth shot up and swallowed all the spirit weapons she had hurled towards him.

Yuria had a shocked expression seeing the ease at which this monster easily got rid of her spirit weapons.

"This is too much fun," The giant ghoul laughed as he licked his lips and his gaze set on the human girl who had yet to try tickling him with her attacks.
