Rise of the Crusader-Chapter 236 The Truth
In the master bedroom of the mansion, the sounds of water pouring could be heard in the bathroom, and amidst that sound was a chuckle.
A woman's chuckle, to be more specific.
"Stop doing that," Elisa muttered in a playful tone.
However, it wasn't even up to two seconds after she spoke that Raphael who was behind her placed his hand on her back gently.
There was a foam sponge in his hand, and as he slowly rubbed the sponge against Elisa's back, the smile on her face widened.
Elisa allowed Raphael to explore her body as he wished, but after a few seconds, she slowly turned toward him.
And regardless of how many times Raphael had seen Elisa naked, he was still fascinated by her elegance.
The perky breasts, the thick thigh, and the hourglass shape which she possessed were simply wondrous.
"Hmm" Elisa's cheeks reddened a little as she saw the look on Raphael's face.
Clearly, it felt good, to see her man staring at her that way.
Elisa leaned forward, wrapping her hands around Raphael's neck, she kissed him passionately.
Their bodies were stuck against one another as they sort after their lips. And as Elisa brought forth her tongue, Raphael responded immediately.
He placed his hand around her waist, as the both of them French kissed, and once the intensity of the kiss grew, his hands went onto her buttocks.
Raphael squeezed as well as massaged her buttocks. He continued to play with it until Elisa raised her leg slightly.
A few seconds after, and Elisa slowly pulled out of the kiss. She gasped heavily, and seeing that lustful look on Raphael's face, she trailed her hand around his face.
Then she pecked him on the cheeks.
After the peck, the expression on Elisa's face changed immediately. She took a step back and lowered her head.
"What's wrong?" Raphael asked.
He stared at the woman in front of him, and as she didn't seem to respond, he closed the distance between the both of them.
Placing his hand on her chin, Raphael raised her head gently. Once eye contact was then made, he spoke.
"Did someone hurt you in any way?" Raphael asked, with the tone in his voice changing.
While it was terrific to know that Raphael cared deeply about her, Elisa knew what he was fully capable of.
She held his hand immediately, "No, I'm perfectly okay." She said.
"It's just… There's something that has been bothering me for a while now." Elisa added.
The look on Raphael's face suggested that she should go on with what it is that she wanted to say, and Elisa did.
"It's about Aurora."
"I don't understand what happened to her during the break, but she is very different. I've known Aurora for a very long time, and I can't help but feel that she is hiding something from me." Elisa looked directly into Raphael's eyes as she spoke.
"Have you spoken to her about it?" Raphael inquired, not evading from Elisa's stares.
And responding to Raphael's question, Elisa nodded her head repeatedly.
The both of them continued to look into one another's eyes and after a few seconds, Elisa spoke.
"But, she did say, the both of you were in Dale city together. Do you perhaps know what happened to her?"
There was complete silence after Elisa spoke, Raphael's mouth opened slightly, and even though he wanted to speak, he found himself unable to say anything.
Back in the city, Raphael had informed Aurora that if she didn't tell Elisa what happened between the both of them, then he was going to tell Elisa about it.
Raphael hadn't expected it to be difficult in the slightest, but upon facing Elisa and seeing the look in her eyes, he understood that he was more difficult than he thought.
However, it was about time Elisa knew what transpired between them in Dale city.
"Elisa, there's something I must tell you," Raphael said.
Elisa's face lit up, as she heard Raphael.
There had been in his relationship for quite some time, and Elisa couldn't think of any moment whereby Raphael appeared this serious when he wanted to speak to her.
So, she could tell that it was of Importance.
"I did something in Dale city."
Time seemed to slow down after Raphael spoke. He peered deep into Elisa's eyes and for the first time in a very long time, Raphael could feel his heart beating very fast.
This feeling was quite foreign to him, and as he heaved a deep breath, Raphael regained composure quickly.
"What happens in Dale city?" Elisa asked in a rather soft tone.
"I was with someone in Dale city and during those months I spent with the person I found myself drawn to her," Raphael replied.
"Her?"
Raphael nodded his head to Elisa's question.
"Do you still find yourself drawn to that person," Elisa gritted her teeth after letting those words out of her mouth.
Raphael shook his head. "I don't. But, it still doesn't change that I was attracted to someone while you were away." Said, Raphael.
Elisa bit her lower lips hard, she glared at Raphael, but after a few seconds, she spoke.
"It's fine. I have heard that it's normal to feel attracted to someone else apart from your partner, as long as nothing happened between the both of you." Elisa muttered.
As there was no response from Raphael after she spoke, Elisa raised an eyebrow. She balled her hand into a tight fist, and after looking into Raphael's eyes for a moment, she said.
"Raphael, tell me nothing happened between you and that person," Elisa asked in a trembling voice.
Her eyes became teary quickly, and seconds passed with no words coming out of Raphael's mouth, Elisa took a deep breath.
"H-How could you do something these despicable to me, Raphael?"
"How!" Elisa spoke with rage written all over her face.
As Raphael slowly placed his hand on her body, Elisa took a step backward. She then continued to move until her back was against the bathroom glass.
While the expression on Raphael's face pretty much remained the same, there was a tinge of pain in his eyes.
Elisa wiped the tears which were on her face, "You said you were attracted to her during those months, so it wasn't a mistake."
"Everything that happened between the both of you occurred because you wanted it to."
Raphael seemed to want to retort to what had just been said, but the look on Elisa's face, as she saw him, made him remain silent.
"Alright." Elisa suddenly spoke. "Since you were able to hide that from me all this while, then is there something else that happened during the break that I'm not aware of."
"And please be honest with me, I refuse to believe that it can be more horrible than what you've done."
