As the dust settled around the defeated demon, the battlefield was enveloped in an eerie silence, broken only by the faint echoes of Paul's subordinates' applause and cheers.

The savior of the world had proven his worth once again.

Paul stood amidst the wreckage, his grand hammer still glowing with the residual energy of the battle. He looked around at the faces of his loyal team leaders—Nye, Lisa, Tia, and Luke. Each of them wore expressions of awe and admiration, their faith in their leader reaffirmed.

Nye, still manipulating time, began to restore the flow of seconds and minutes around them, allowing the world to return to its normal pace. Lisa's energy constructs dissipated, leaving the battlefield cleansed of demonic remnants.

Tia, with her stealthy prowess, moved through the aftermath, ensuring that no straggling demons remained. Luke adjusted his power of attraction and repulsion to clear the area of debris, allowing their floating fortress to descend further and provide aid where it was needed.

Paul's gaze turned to the fortress, which had remained vigilant and ready throughout the battle.

He knew that the war was far from over. The monstrous horde might have suffered a significant blow, but the real challenge lay ahead.

The Scenario was still unfolding, and the Gifted Alliance Headquarters needed to protect what remained of humanity.

With a calm yet determined demeanor, Paul addressed his team leaders, "We've won this battle, but the war continues. We must regroup and assess the situation. Our goal remains the same: to ensure the survival of humanity and protect our world from the encroaching darkness."

Nye nodded in agreement, his control over time fully restored. "Right, Paul. We'll coordinate with the other teams and secure the area. We won't let the demons regroup."

Lisa chimed in, her eyes still ablaze with the energy of battle. "And we'll keep enhancing our defenses. With your leadership and the power of the Items, we're unstoppable."

Tia's voice, though soft, carried a sense of determination. "I'll scout ahead and gather information. Knowledge is our greatest weapon."

Luke, with a smile, added, "And I'll make sure the fortress is ready for whatever comes next."

Paul nodded in appreciation of his team's unwavering commitment.

"Thank you, my friends. Together, we will face whatever challenges lie ahead. Humanity's survival depends on the Gifted Alliance Headquarters."

As the team leaders dispersed to carry out their tasks, Paul couldn't help but think of Lily... as well as his benefactors

He had vowed to protect humanity, to become their savior. And with every battle won, he felt he was one step closer to fulfilling that promise.

The floating fortress ascended further, its radiance casting a beacon of hope in the dark world below.

Paul and his leaders prepared to return to their monolith of greatness, towering above the debris of the ruined world.

[Meanwhile]

A hooded intruder slipped through the shadows like a phantom, navigating the labyrinthine corridors of the Gifted Alliance Headquarters with eerie ease.

His presence was masked by a cloak of darkness, but his eyes glinted with sinister intent beneath the hood.

He had managed to bypass the guards, avoiding their watchful gaze. His destination was clear: the Guildmaster's office.

This audacious intruder had come to seek something, something that lay hidden within the heart of this fortress.

As he approached the office, a sense of anticipation danced in his eyes, and a faint, ominous smile curled at the corner of his lips. b𝚎𝚍𝚗𝚘𝚟𝚎l.net

He couldn't help but marvel at how far Paul had come, from a mere participant in the Scenario to the leader of this formidable alliance.

Pushing the door to the Guildmaster's office open, the intruder stepped inside, the dimly lit room revealing an assortment of intricate relics, powerful Items, and maps depicting the ongoing battle against the demon horde.

The shelves were lined with tomes, each containing knowledge of the gifted abilities that had emerged in the new world.

The intruder muttered to himself in a low, raspy voice, "Impressive, Paul. Seems like you've developed quite a taste..."

His gloved hand reached for a small, unassuming drawer, and just as his fingers brushed against it, a presence enveloped the room like a shroud of foreboding.

A voice, calm yet filled with authority, echoed through the office, "Who are you, and what brings you here?"

Startled, the intruder froze. His heart seemed to race as he turned to face the source of the voice.

There, standing in the shadows, was a short figure with stark white hair cascading down her shoulders. Her eyes burned like crimson embers in the darkness, radiating an aura of immense power.

She stepped forward, her gaze unyielding as she scrutinized the intruder.

It was Lilith, the partner of Guildmaster Pariah—or Paul, his normal name—herself known to be an enigma of strength.

The intruder remained silent, his face hidden in the depths of his hood, but his eyes darted around the room, assessing his options.

Lilith's patience wore thin, her voice taking on an edge of warning. "I'll ask you one more time. Who are you, and what are you looking for?"

Still, the intruder didn't respond. As it appeared, he had underestimated the power that resided within this fortress.

… He had underestimated Lilith.

With a swift and graceful motion, Lilith moved closer to the intruder. In the blink of an eye, she closed the remaining distance, her hand gripping his shoulder with a grip that radiated authority.

"Speak," she demanded, her voice like steel.

The intruder gasped as a force he couldn't comprehend coursed through his body. His resistance waned, and he finally relented.

"I... I seek information, about Paul. I need to know his vulnerabilities, his weaknesses."

Lilith's red eyes bore into his soul, her presence unrelenting. "And why would you need such information?"

The intruder hesitated for a moment, then revealed, "Because he's the key to everything. To the future. To the Scenario."

Lilith's expression hardened. She tightened her grip, her voice a whisper of a threat. "You tread on dangerous ground, seeking to harm Paul. Know this: if you pose a threat to him or the Gifted Alliance, I will eliminate you without hesitation. Now, tell me your name and your purpose."

The intruder swallowed hard, as if realizing the dire situation he was in.

Tension spread throughout the room, and it weighed heavily on the two parties within it. And so, once the pressure reached its climax, the disadvantaged intruder had to give in.

With a defeated sigh, he finally spoke.

"Pfft! you've really changed a lot, haven't you… Lily."
