Third Person's POV

The faint sound of muffled sobs of the previously moaning woman echoed for a few seconds and the sounds of clothes rustling echoed before fading into silence.

The young man wiped his damp face with the back of his hand and then turned to the artificer with a weary indifferent expression.

"What is it now, Master Argos? Have you finally agreed to let that little Amelia girl accompany this young master for a night?"

A muscle twitched in Argos's jaw.

His fingers curled into a fist and for a fleeting moment, he entertained the thought of punching the arrogant brat's smug face through the screen.

Unfortunately, that was not possible. Not now and not even in reality, if he wished to keep his head attached to his shoulders.

Master Argos adopted a humble expression and his tone was laced with respectful deference.

"You know that's not possible, Young Master Otto.

She belongs to the Imperial Blade Hall and it would not be in your best interest to lay your hands on her."

Hearing that, Young Master Otto's face contorted with irritation as he barked,

"Then why have you interrupted me during my precious merrymaking? Is your brain full of crap?

Do you not understand that I must not be disturbed when I am enjoying myself?"

His words spilled out in a torrential outburst and his mouth practically foamed as he ranted.

Spittle flew with every syllable but Master Argos was grateful for the long-distance communication as he was spared the unfortunate experience of being drenched.

Still, the sheer audacity and disrespect in the young man's words gnawed at his patience.

One day, just one day, when you are in my hands, I will teach you such a lesson you will never forget, you worthless, brainless sack of filth.

If not for the looming shadow of Otto's father, Master Argos would have long since exacted his vengeance for this disrespect and reduced this insufferable brat to a whimpering wreck.

But for now, he kept his thoughts buried deep and maintained a perfectly composed expression.

He knew all too well the consequences of offending someone of Otto's status.

"I bring you two pieces of very good news," he said smoothly and adjusted his tone to intrigue rather than irritate.

Otto who was still scowling narrowed his eyes.

"And what would that be?"

His anger had not fully dissipated but the phrase good news was enough to shift his expression into one of curiosity.

Lust tinged his gaze now as he recognized that Master Argos would never contact him without a profitable reason.

"First," Argos began in a measured and enticing voice,

"I have come across a weapon of such extraordinary craftsmanship that even your esteemed elder brother would be unable to resist its allure.

If you were to present this weapon to him as a gift, I daresay it could wash away all of your previous transgressions in his eyes."

Otto's brows lifted slightly and for a fleeting moment, delight flickered across his face.

However, he quickly suppressed his reaction and maintained a facade of skepticism.

"Interesting," he mused as he rubbed his chin.

"I will consider it. Now, tell me the second piece of good news."

Master Argos's voice took on a honeyed and persuasive tone as he leaned in slightly.

"The second piece of good news is directly tied to this weapon as well.

You see, I have discovered a woman, one so breathtakingly beautiful that even you, Young Master Otto might find yourself enamored beyond reason.

In fact, I am sure that once she is yours even your father would turn green with envy."

A jolt of raw excitement flashed across Otto's face and his previous irritation vanished in an instant.

However, it was soon replaced by a furrowed brow as suspicion crept into his expression.

"Why do you say 'I am sure'? Have you not seen her with your own eyes?"

Master Argos's lips curled ever so slightly as though he had anticipated the question.

His demeanor remained composed and almost smug as he gestured toward the gray stone.

"Be patient, Young Master Otto. You will understand soon enough."

With that, he placed his right hand on the stone and a cascade of glowing particles emerged and swirled in the air before coalescing into a perfect illusion.

Before Otto's eager eyes, the image of Virelle took form.

She stood clad in her signature crimson body-hugging gown, with her face being obscured by an elegant red veil.

But even though it was just an ethereal projection, her striking princess-braided shining golden hair, and those mesmerizing soul-stirring crimson eyes were burned into Otto's mind.

Master Argos let the image linger before speaking again in his deliberately slow and enticing voice.

"This is the woman I speak of, Young Master Otto. She is in possession of the saber but more importantly… she is wild and untamed."

He let the words hang in the air as he knew precisely the kind of reaction they would invoke.

As expected, Otto inhaled sharply as if he were high on drugs and his excitement surged into something far more dangerous.

His lips curled into a wicked grin and his eyes gleamed with a twisted hunger.

"Where is she?" he demanded.

"As for her wild nature… that won't be a problem.

I know exactly how to break such an unruly woman.

You have done well, Master Argos. I will reward you handsomely for this. This time, I will strike two targets with a single arrow."

For the briefest moment, the light in Master Argos's eyes flickered with triumph though he quickly masked it with a pensive frown.

Feigning hesitation, he let out a slow sigh.

"There is… one small complication."

Otto's gaze darkened and his ugly grin faltered slightly.

"What kind of complication?"

Master Argos shook his head and exhaled dramatically.

"She is not alone.

She has a male companion. He is an arrogant fool who believes himself untouchable and treats others like insects beneath his feet."
