Uldin laughed out loud, "great! Good! Good! I haven't felt like this since a long time ago." He laughed even harder, his laugh was strange and it echoed in the area.

Aldrich opened his eyes wide, he may have gone overboard just now. He thought that he toned down his words bu it seems like his words were still a little too sharp. 𝐟𝓇ℯ𝐞𝚠𝚎𝒃𝑛𝒐ѵe𝚕.co𝚖

After a while Uldin calmed down, "good. Enough, yes I do need a customer but you need me more. I will take nine potions and you will get one for your trouble."

"Don't joke around, we can debate on that another time. It's six to four."

"Eight to two."

"Seven to three, don't forget that I will still buy the rest later on. You will basically be making all the profits."

"Fine, it's a deal." Uldin agreed after a moment's thought. "It will take some time so don't bother me until then."

"Alright take your time." Aldrich replied while backing off. He didn't return to the base but jumped down to the Underbridge area.

He explored much of this are in the past but didn't go in too deep. Today was the day. He face off against packs of Skinned dogs and slaughtered them one after another.

There were different types he met one of them before but the deeper he got the more frequent he encountered them. They were not much to be honest even though they were bigger and stronger than their ilk.

The place was mostly filled with a terrible smell that threatened to over turn the senses, it was that bad. He had developed some resistance to it but not much.

The tunnels were still wide and strange looking plants grew here and there along with the candles they gave the place an out of place look.

With a thud he punched to his left striking a regular sized dog in the jugular, it was that easy for him to kill these creatures. But this one didn't die, it actually got back up in a few seconds.

Aldrich took a good look at it and realized that it had grey fur unlike the rest of the hairless Skinned dogs.

It lunged in the air and it's two small paws enlarged and suddenly became claws as big as short swords, furthermore with that speed and even a hint of technique behind it, it was a deadly attack.

And it struck Aldrich who was standing still, he did not dodge. He grabbed one paw and squeezed, the paws returned back to normal size but the dog still tried to bite him.

That attack just now it actually pierced his skin and drew blood this was not an easy feat only just a little though. But it was still good enough for a weak creature like this one.

Aldrich killed it and decided to go back for now. It looks like he was going into a new territory in the nightmare town.

On his way back Aldrich walked down the streets to the base and killed any Malformed husk he saw. But that was not his intention now.

,m Since he was free to move now after becoming a Crestmaster he had to get other things. Essence was of course the most important but coin was a close second.

Aldrich decided to loot the houses and buildings in an orderly fashion and marked every building he was finished with so as to not make a goofy mistake.

He returned to the base with twenty four gold and sixteen silvers. He could have gotten more but he had to carry everything by hand so it was not ideal.

His essence savings grew to twenty five green orbs. After returning to the real world it was reduced to twenty two after bringing twenty gold coins and a box of precious gems.

It was heavy toll but he couldn't complain. Next he was planing to complete his attempt to bring something from the real world to the nightmare realm.

In the past he tried but ultimately he failed, he wondered if it was going to be any easier now.

The next day he appraised the coins and jewelry first thing in the morning. The box of jewelry was worth twenty gold coins which took him completely by surprise and he exchanged them for that price at another appraiser.

The first one might have downplayed the price for his own benefit, but it seems like his suspicions were mistaken.

Next he went to buy the messenger he wanted and needed. This time he was confident in getting the best one out there.

Association of communications and letters. This was one of the most trusted and widely used companies to train and sell messengers they had branches everywhere.

"Sir, this is the best one. If it's the southwestern cost it has three years of experience. It's better than a well trained dog, sense of smell and communication. It can understand simple commands and even read maps."

It had bat-like wings and a stringer at the end of it's long tail like a wyvern. Its reptilian body was scaly but it's wings sprouted yellowish-green feathers. It was known as Amphipter.

"It can brave any weather, no storm or snow nor heavy rain will ever take it down. It will slow down though. It's not combative or aggressive but it's not afraid of a fight either."

"My friend lives in a small fishing hamlet, they don't have addresses, their streets don't even have names. Can it still find the right house?"

Aldrich was concerned over this point, no matter how amazing it was there were still some realistic limitations.

"It cannot find someone in such circumstances but if you have something that belongs to them or something that has their smell it will take some time but it will find them in the southwestern cost. If not all it needs is to see the house once and it can memorize it forever."

Aldrich didn't say anything else he just shook his hand and payed the twelve silver coins, feeling satisfied.
