Right after Azvoid had left the scene, figures streaked across the sky and examined what lay below.

The previous vibrant river had been transformed into a nightmarish expanse of ruins.The surrounding lush greenery that had once exuded vitality had all turned into ash with the air thick with the stench of destruction. Casting an illusion to all who saw the scene to think the earth was suffocating under a curse too ancient for mortal minds to comprehend.

At the heart of this transformation was the platform which pulsed with faint, unnatural energy that was still corroding the earth.

The sky above still lingered with a perpetual twilight of deep inky blackness as dark as the void as if space had been shattered and light absorbed by a vortex leaving behind darkness .

This coupled with the ground filled cracks and fissures running whilst still pulsing with darkness,marked with deep claw marks revealing that all this chaos had been caused by a creature whose presence had left an eternal scar upon the earth itself.

The scenery before them reminded them of the cataclysmic effect of unchecked powers wielded in the wrong hands,as all that was left,a world broken, left as a reminder that some powers,once unleashed cannot be controlled.

Suddenly one of the figures who had been taking in the scene of destruction gasped in exasperation,"This..... that's no ordinary spell casted here,were looking at the aftermath of something exceedingly powerful,most likely a creature of the darkness, the kind that doesn't leave anything behind but chaos and destruction."

"Wait.", Another figure, a middle aged man in a black robe exuding a Powerful aura while flashing a fascinated expression exclaimed,"This destruction,...its not some random chaos, it's like there's a pattern of destruction similar to that of a summoned beast, but this ain't no mere beast."

Lana Rey, a middle aged lady the leader of the group who had experienced many things perhaps too many things, frowned before sighing,"You're right Eldritch, what lays before us was not caused by any random beast, but i fear its a dragon,one possessing supreme talent in the element of darkness, I'm afraid we might be dealing with a darkness attribute dragon!

There the only creatures at this level possessing this kind of cataclysmic power of destruction."

Squinting at the distant platform that once lay besides the river she finally mattered....,"This is exactly what i was worried about, the dragon may have vanished but the magic is still left behind.....i ....i .....think...it might still be here."

Ethan the first figure to have voiced out his thoughts, face suddenly darkened as eery thoughts flashed in his mind briefly,"There's something about this that doesn't make sense the dragon's power- if it's indeed even a dragon, wouldn't just leave, something's holding it here,even if its gone the energy here is highly unstable."

Tanjiro,a young handsome man who had been previously quiet suddenly voiced out,"Hmmmmm,that platform.....it feels wrong, its almost as if it's calling us."

" Whats not to love,its a raised platform right in the middle of a desolate wasteland,i bet there's some dark ancient relics just waiting for us to claim them or a manifested heavenly treasure,"smirked Becky the only cute lady in the team who had an avid love of treasures discovered in the most unconventional places .

Eldritch, ignoring the two figures claims directed his gaze on the raised platform before exclaiming,"This could be an ancient summoning sight! A darkness dragon?, perhaps another ancient entity that had been disturbed , anyway the magic and energy levels here are off the charts,it must have been the source of the disturbance we've been tracking."

Lana Rey, steeling her nerves glanced at the others before asserting,"We're not leaving until we find out what happened here it's too dangerous the whole land has been tainted, whatever was summoned here could be more than just a dragon,it could be something that still threatens the entire region."

Ethan's face turning grim,urged,"Then let's stop talking about it and deal with it."

Motioning towards the platform.

"Ugh, guys i don't you think there's something important we're missing?, Don't you think there's a treasure, i mean what if the dragon left something behind, maybe..... just maybe something like a secret treasure vault or a treasure land or...."

Eldritch rolling his eyes,"Yeah..... yeah brilliant idea, Becky, a treasure chest full of cursed shadows!."

"Quite messing around guys, the platform, it's likely the heart of the summoning ritual and if we're not careful we might just end up stirring up something, that's best left undisturbed."Rey murmured stoically.

Becky winked as she moved forward,"Argh, I'm sure it'll be fine, what's the worst that could happen ?, Really all this danger and no treasure to show for..... it is a real disappointment "

Eldritch shaked his head with a wry smile,"Just try not to touch anything Becky."
