Rise of The Strongest Monarch-Chapter 63: Zeno Against The Abomination [1]

BANG! BANG!! BANG!!!

He fires off multiple shots, sending light throughout the area around us. It made it a lot easier to see the abomination in the distance.

All of its wounds are leaking blood onto the ground but it still is capable of standing, even after taking a shot from his gun.

Footsteps are coming towards me again, but my eyes refuse to leave Zeno, I have to see what he does against it. My vision is getting quite dark as I try to focus on the two of them...

Glow.

A bright white light begins to emit from the corner of my eye as I notice some of the pain slowly disappearing.

"Luck really is on our side," Amelia says with relief in her voice. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

I didn’t think Amelia would have the energy to get to me after firing off all of those arrows, but I might be able to speak again.

"Aren’t you exhausted...?" I ask weakly while staring ahead.

"I’m using the last of my strength to keep you from dying here," Amelia responds as she presses her hands against me.

Swoosh!!!

I watch as Zeno begins to move with insane amounts of speed, making it hard to keep up with what he is doing.

BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!!!

Shots begin to fire off repeatedly as flashes of light are all I can see now. Each shot pushes the zierel back a few meters as he continues to put the pressure on it.

Stomp!!!! Stomp!!!!!

Even with it stomping down on the ground Zeno isn’t phased in the slightest by what it is doing. He probably isn’t stressing in the slightest about this zierel.

(Meanwhile, Zeno’s Perspective.)

"Isn’t this a great time!" I shout with excitement.

My fingers pull the trigger with ease as I continue to run around the goliath in front of me. Bullets blow through its body, but the healing capabilities with this one is strong.

"SCREEEEECH!!!!!" It cries out in pain.

"Yes, sing for me!" I shout back at it while running.

That kid did quite the number on its legs which is helpful but I wonder why he didn’t do much more. The power radiating from his sword is insane.

Even the girl with him is powerful with all the arrows I notice hanging from its body. They are quite the powerful combo, but I think it’ll take some time for them to realize their potential.

Bang!!! Bang!!!!! Bang!!!!!!

More shots go off as flashes of light explode from the Zierel, causing blood to splatter all over the place.

It still continues to heal the wounds as I step back, giving my gun a moment to charge up.

I look back towards the two of them as I realize what is going on here, they weren’t just here for no reason.

A light bearer sent them to this city, but I don’t really know who would be dumb enough to send anyone here. Amadon is a restricted place for a reason, this is exactly why.

The goliath here is healing without any problem which means I can’t mess around much.

Here I thought I’d be able to show off a bit since zierel usually aren’t this strong but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Fighting seriously is boring...

Another pistol forms in my other hand as a burst of energy surges throughout my whole body.

Dash!!!

1, 4, 8, 12, 16.

The shots keep going up as I dash around this goliath, firing off my pistols as fast as I possibly can. I’m watching as each shot blows off different parts of its body.

Hyup!

I jump as a fist swings under me and immediately I fire a few more shots towards it.

"Come on, I’m really giving it my all now!" I shout with more excitement.

Rumble!!!

The ground shakes as it throws another attack towards me.

"Oop!" I shout while dodging its fist.

I fire off a couple of more shots as I fly through the air.

"There it is," I say softly.

I manage to reach one of the buildings in time to push myself off of it, giving me an opportunity to ground myself again.

It’ll be a pain, but I definitely can take care of this one. I’ve never seen a goliath on this scale before... It’s definitely going to be quite a trophy to brag about later.

I haven’t burned through much of my energy yet either so I think it is doable.

I scratch my head with one of the pistols as I stare at the goliath.

He really is huge though, how did it get so big in the first place? Did humans really trap one within this city without thinking?

That does explain it.

I’ve got people watching this right now so I need to make myself look good. This is how you handle zierel of this level, watch and learn kiddos.

I push some more light into my pistols as I charge up a few shots; afterwards I pull the trigger as a huge burst of light fires towards it.

BOOM!!!!!!

White light engulfs the area as my vision is completely gone for a minute.

The light finally dies down as I notice that the goliath is splattered all over the buildings with its eyes still staring at me.

"You really are unique," I say while looking back at it.

The sound of flesh squelching around me as it reforms is all I can hear, as gross as it might be... The goliath is starting to take shape once again.

Even after completing obliterating it... It is managing to heal. How much more can I put into these shots without destroying the city itself?

I am trying my hardest not to destroy anything here since I don’t know if humans are hiding here. The place is full of death and decay but you never know.

Humans are weird when it comes to hiding from monsters like the zierel.

"Just do me a favor and die, okay?" I speak with a bit of frustration.
