Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 147: Aaron in The 10th Night Liberators
Andrew knew where the Night Liberators usually imprisoned their captives—in the underground prison near their headquarters. However, he wagered that Isabella must have been taken to a different location.
There were several potential sites for Night Liberator prisons, but only three seemed plausible. Two were outside the city, while one was in the northern district, nestled in the urban forest area.
"You need to check those three places regularly. Isabella is one of their high-value captives. They’re not foolish enough to keep her in one of their usual prisons," Andrew said firmly.
"I see. It looks like I’ll have to wait until the public execution," Aaron replied, his tone laced with sarcasm.
"If you decide to wait, there’s one thing you need to worry about," Andrew cautioned.
He explained two possibilities. The first was that the public execution could feature a decoy—another prisoner disguised as Isabella.
This could lead Aaron to make a wrong move, rescuing the wrong person, and allowing the Night Liberators to execute Isabella in secrecy.
The second scenario was that Isabella might genuinely appear at the execution, but the event would be heavily guarded by the Night Liberators. In that case, rescuing her would become nearly impossible.
Aaron’s breath hitched as his sharp eyes narrowed, his gaze drifting away from Andrew. From his vantage point, Aaron could see hundreds of Sky Sword members glaring at them with hostile, murderous intent.
"I think your best option is to rescue Isabella before the public execution," Andrew suggested.
Aaron agreed; this plan seemed more practical than waiting for the execution. It would ensure Isabella’s identity and give him a chance to spirit her away before it was too late.
"Who else knows about these locations besides Luke?" Aaron asked.
"Luke’s aide knows them," Andrew replied. "But since Luke is attending the meeting at the council building, his aide is likely with him."
"And what about other members?"

Andrew shook his head, closing his eyes. "I can’t say for sure. But I know Luke and his aide have that information."
"I see. Thank you, Andrew," Aaron said, his gratitude genuine.
"Don’t mention it, my friend. You have my word that my men won’t harm you," Andrew assured.
He turned to address his troops, his voice loud and commanding. "Listen up, Sky Sword members! No one is to interfere with Aaron’s mission. None of you are threatening him!"
The soldiers, initially stunned, fell to their knees, bowing their heads. For them, Andrew’s word was absolute.
"But he’s a high-priority fugitive," Harold protested, his eyes sharp. "We’d gain a lot from capturing him."
"This is my order!" Andrew declared. "His safety is far more important than any bounty. If you disagree, you’re welcome to leave Sky Sword and pursue him yourself. But I won’t take responsibility for your life."
Harold sighed heavily, glaring at Aaron with disdain. While Harold detested missing out on the chance to apprehend Aaron, he despised the idea of being cast out of Sky Sword even more. Reluctantly, he knelt along with the others.
Seeing the loyalty of his troops brought a smile to Andrew’s face. He turned back to Aaron and said, "Be careful. Even though I support you in this matter, I won’t stand by if you destroy half the city for her."
"I didn’t come to destroy the city. I came to save my friend," Aaron replied firmly.
Satisfied, Andrew watched as Aaron soared into the sky, a trail of purple energy illuminating his path as he disappeared into the distance.
Silviana hovered beside Andrew, her voice curious. "Why is Aaron here?"
Andrew recounted the entire situation to her. She deserved to know; after all, she had been involved from the start.
Meanwhile, Aaron flew rapidly toward the 10th Division headquarters of the Night Liberators, his aura leaving a streak of violet light across the city sky.
From afar, he could see their distinct red-and-black compound, standing out in stark contrast to the colors of Sky Sword’s base.
BOOM!
A surge of magical energy rippled as Aaron arrived above the compound, alerting everyone within. Members of the Night Liberators poured out of their barracks, panic evident in their voices.
"It’s Aaron!"
"What an idiot, showing up here without backup."
"Luke and Mason aren’t here. Can we even handle him without them?"
Amid the chaos, two women ascended to meet Aaron in the sky. One rode atop a black dragon, while the other balanced gracefully on a flying sword.
"You’re under arrest for the murder of Denis and the betrayal of David!" one of them shouted, her magic flaring.
Aaron ignored her words, his eyes shut as he focused on sensing Isabella’s magical presence. Despite the multitude of magical fluctuations around him, none matched hers.
Following Andrew’s lead, Aaron detected an underground prison within the 10th Division headquarters. However, the magic signatures there didn’t belong to Isabella.
"She’s not here," Aaron concluded, his eyes snapping open.
With a quick movement, he extended his hand and used his violet magic to pull one of the women toward him. She struggled, but the force of his spell was overwhelming.
"Where are you hiding Isabella?" he demanded coldly.
"You’ll never find her, no matter how hard you try!" she spat.
Aaron didn’t hesitate. His magic flared, and the woman’s body was torn apart, leaving her remains to rain down on the stunned crowd below.
Gasps of horror echoed through the ranks; she had been a captain of the 3rd Squad.
"This is insane. He killed her in one move," her companion muttered, trembling.
"Sound the alarm!" the remaining woman screamed.
One of the soldiers below responded, hurling a red sphere of magic into the sky. It detonated with a brilliant flash, forming a crimson symbol—a sign of imminent danger.
The magical pulse it released spread across the city, its power reaching as far as twenty kilometers.
At the council building, Luke and Mason stopped in their tracks as they felt the alarm’s vibration.
"He’s here," Luke said, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
