Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 341 - 278: Fall of the Calvanot Empire part 2
"Everyone eat and enjoy," a noble shouted joyfully as they smacked their cups together.
Over a hundred people could be seen adorned with beautiful gemstones on their wares, having expensive fabrice and some were even served by people of different races.
Some had dog ears, other’s with scales and some even had yellow colored skin. Despite their differences they all had one thing in common, strange brands on their necks.
The nobles enjoying their feast all sat in a wide room with beautiful statues on the walls and beautiful paintings on the ceiling.
The marble floor was so clear that one could see their reflection on it, possibly even daring to eat food that had fallen once before.
Several tables were filled with delicious delicacies and sweet smelling wine.
The nobles dined happily as they discussed various matters, not noticing the knights which were standing off to the side had faint lines of thread attached to their bodies. The thread was so thin it was barely visible to the naked eye.
The room they were in had one way windows, blocking the view of the city. That specific choice of architecture in the room would prove fatal as they couldn’t tell their precious empire was currently being assaulted and burned to the ground.
"It seems that the King of Calvanot is doing well," Gray said, suddenly appearing in the middle of the room.
The King had been conversing with other nobles, but the voice stuck out in the room filled with voices. The King got up, pushing past the noble.
She glared after setting her eyes on the bald-headed woman, but she quickly fixed her face, having a calm expression.
"Oh, isn’t this unexpected? What are you doing here, Apostle Gray?" King Helen said with a smirk.
She was a beautiful brown skinned woman, her lips having purple lipstick on them. Her eyes which were a bright yellow were mysterious yet alluring.
If it wasn’t for her looks, her red flame-like hair that was braided back in a ponytail would make her stand out.
All in the room turned their attention to who she was speaking to. Once they recognized it to be Gray, they quickly dispersed, moving away from her. They all shot different gazes at her. Some being filled with scorn, worry, or both.
"I just came to visit and I also heard that you haven’t been giving offerings to Paige. I wonder why when I can clearly see you having a bountiful feast, Helen." Gray spoke plainly, not an ounce of irritation however once she said her name, the King felt a chill go down her spine.
Helen chuckled, trying her best to hide the nervous feeling in her stomach, "Ha well you know, I planned to give quite the generous offering to Paige but my meetings have been keeping me busy. And you know the commoners have been having hard time and-"
Before she could continue to give her on the spot excuses Gray interrupted, "The church always accepts offerings whether big or small, but there is no need for that now, since I’m gonna kill you all."
King Hellen clenched her fist, "Kill us all... Do you really think that you could come in here and say such a thing!? Kill her at once!" Queen Helen commanded, fury burning in her eyes at Gray’s words.
Over 40 assassins sprouted from teleportation gates.
"My, my those who stray from the path of our goddess shall be killed," Gray said with an evil smirk as the assassins and knights who were about to attack her immediately stopped in their tracks.
Looks of confusion were on the faces of all as the Knights and Assassins’ heads were suddenly twisted.
They died instantly.
Another who came to attack her from behind was immediately smashed by the golden key in her hands.
Helen looked on in shock, "How is this possible?"
"She just killed arc humans," a noble man muttered, his voice shaking.
The nobles as well as King Helen watched on in horror as Gray then raised her hands; the bodies of the assassins and knights aligned right behind her.
"We are all going to fucking die!" A burly noble man yelled as his hands trembled looking through a blue glass before his face.
"Look at her freaking stats you fools," he yelled, throwing the glass to another noble.
The noble put his eye to the glass, moving it in the direction of Gray.
His eyes widened once seeing the stats, fainting instantly.

’If I knew she was this powerful I wouldn’t have tried to stray from Paige,’ Helen thought as she was now looking through the same blue glass from her ring.
"I’m sorry we’ll start giving offerings to Paige again so please spare my life," Helen knelt down on the ground as she begged. The other novels, while some were reluctant, all bowed as well.
"My Sacred says I should get rid of this empire so I will," Gray said coldly.
"But lady Gray we’ve been producing Andromulus puppets," a noble lady stated defensively.
"That’s why your empire would be the testing ground for my new creation," Gray said, as two portals appeared behind her.
A puppet 7 feet tall with the skill of a bird appeared. Its body was covered in a black and golden cloak, having sharp metal claws to its side.
Another came out of the portal, having 4 eyes on its mask, being 7 feet tall as well; wearing a black and gold suit. Dozens of magic circles appeared around it.
"You bitch!!!" Helen screamed in anger.
"Cursing is bad, you know. Ah, nevermind it doesn’t matter actually. There’s no use talking to someone who’s already dead."
She turned, starting to walk out of the hall as the two puppets started marching towards the nobles. Blood drenched the carpet from the assassins earlier but it didn’t concern Gray, as she walked still, stepping on a body or two before fully exciting the hall.
She smirked, as pained screams of the nobles rang from inside. The very last squeal being the voice of Queen Helen.
Now that she was out in the hall, she squatted before jumping up, breaking through floor after floor until she made it to the top of the castle.
Atop it she had a sinister grin as she looked down at the burning empire from the roof of the castle, her pink dress fluttering in the wind.
"Well. All in all I’d say this was a successful mission."
