Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 366 - 303: Appeared
I realized my writing has become lazy. I low-key stopped reading light novels as well. Gotta continue a d learn from them.

Aurianna gave a short, cruel laugh. "Loyalty is such a fragile illusion. I don’t believe in it. It crumbles too easily. One traitor and that’s enough for a lot of plans to fall apart."
Then a voice spoke up—Juvin. He looked visibly overwhelmed, the complexity of the situation before him was clearly beyond his grasp, but he still had the courage to ask. "Then... What happens after your revenge? What will you do when it’s over?"
Aurianna blinked at the question. "Actually... I haven’t thought about that."
Turning to Leila, she asked, "What about you?"
Leila stretched her arms lazily. "Me? I think I’ll just... travel. Explore other planets. Maybe try out a new galaxy or two."
"Wait, really?!" Aurianna gasped, her eyes sparkling with childlike excitement. She suddenly clung to Leila’s arm. "Then I wanna go with you! Please?! I’ll behave! Look—puppy eyes!" She gave her best wide-eyed expression.
Leila laughed, tugging Aurianna’s cheek. "Of course you can come. Only if Iris doesn’t destroys everything first."
"She better not!" Aurianna snapped, stamping her foot.
"And when all of this is over," Leila murmured with a wistful smile, her gaze turning toward the sky, "I’d like to... date someone."
Aurianna’s face immediately twisted into a frown, her eyes narrowing. "Don’t tell me it’s that disgusting human from your memories."
Leila blinked, caught off guard, before letting out a soft laugh. "Be respectful, Auri."
Aurianna folded her arms. "I’m being very respectful. I’d respectfully break his neck if I ever saw him. No one deserves my sister."
Leila groaned. "Stop being so obsessive!"
"But sister, he’s so chopped!" Aurianna cried, stamping her foot dramatically.
"He is not chopped! He’s good-looking!" Leila retorted, puffing out her cheeks.
"So what?" Aurianna sniffed. "He’s ugly in my eyes! That’s all that matters!"
"No way—Carol, back me up! Is he ugly?!" Leila asked, pulling out a picture of the guy from her inventory and showing it to Carol.
Carol stared at the image calmly. Before her was a tall, muscular young man with warm tan skin, short black hair, kind orange eyes, and a gentle smile.
Carol tilted her head thoughtfully. "Well... he’s actually quite good-looking."
Aurianna’s mouth dropped open. "Traitor!"
"I-I’m just saying!" Carol defended, holding up her hands.
"He’s got a short life span! He’s a human, he won’t even live long!" Aurianna shouted, turning back to Leila as if that sealed the argument.
"It doesn’t matter," Leila said calmly, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "Time isn’t the only thing that makes love meaningful."
"He’s placed my big sister under some kind of spell! This isn’t you!" Aurianna gasped, pointing a trembling finger at her.
Leila rolled her eyes. "Stop overreacting."
"I must kill him," Aurianna muttered darkly. "And the other two who dared flirt with you! This is war!"
Leila burst into laughter. "I mean... all three of them are handsome."
"Since when do you care about looks, sister?" Aurianna asked, now suspicious, as if Leila had been replaced by a doppelgänger. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
As the sisters argued, Christopher let out a fake cough. "Um, hello? Seems like we’ve suddenly become invisible."
Kiana chuckled beside him. "When those two start talking, there’s no room for anyone else."
Batholem nodded thoughtfully. "It’s rare to see Aurianna so expressive. Even with us, she keeps most of her emotions guarded." Even though he said this his heart ached a bit realizing that Aurianna was still not comfortable around them.
Leila turned back to Aurianna with a gentle smile. "You know... our lifespans aren’t infinite either. So maybe instead of fearing the end, we should enjoy the moments we’re given."
Aurianna blinked, caught off guard by the sudden shift in tone. Then her face twisted with realization. "Oh right! Our lifespans! I totally forgot. We need to talk to Iris about this immediately!"
Suddenly, a loud voice echoed in her mind.
[ No way!! ] Jenus shouted.
Aurianna rolled her eyes. "Ugh, haven’t heard your ass in a while."
[ Don’t be rude! ] Jenus grumbled.
"You’ve been so quiet I thought you finally evaporated," she said with a mocking smirk.
[ I was resting! You’re exhausting to watch, you know that? ]
"Oh, boohoo," Aurianna snorted, waving a hand dismissively. "We’re talking about lifespans and true love here. Not your nap schedule."
Leila giggled and poked her sister on the forehead. "You’re impossible."
"I’m perfect," Aurianna corrected with a dramatic pose. "And I will protect you from ugly men for all eternity!"
"He’s not ugly!!" Leila shouted again, laughing so hard she nearly fell over.
"Whatever," Aurianna huffed, rolling her eyes as she crossed her arms.
[ Didn’t I warn you about Iris? ] Jenus asked, his tone unusually serious in her head.
"I don’t care," Aurianna muttered. "She’s the only one who can remove the remnants of the Black Gemaris curse. Whether we like it or not, she’s our only option."
[ Hmph... I guess you’re right. ] Jenus reluctantly agreed.
Without wasting another moment, Aurianna and Leila sat down on the ground. Aurianna didn’t hesitate—she clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and began chanting Iris’s name over and over almost as though she was trying to cast a spell.
Leila glanced at her uneasily. "Will she even show up if we just... call her like that?"
"We’ll never know unless we try!!" Aurianna declared, eyes blazing with the energy of someone who refused to back down.
Then, without warning, a new voice echoed around them. Soft, melodic, and yet deeply unsettling.
"Eh? You two were calling for me?"
They both froze.
A figure sat right between them—legs crossed, posture relaxed, with an eerie smile.
’Wha—? When did she even get here?!’ Leila’s mind screamed in silence, her body going cold.
"Aww... My two little sisters have grown so beautifully," Iris cooed, gently patting both of their heads. Her voice was sweet, but it had the opposite effect on Aurianna and Leila. Her voice made their skin crawl.
She looked mostly the same as before, yet something had changed. Glimmering shards of different Gemaris gems embedded themselves across her body. Her hair, long and flowing, had the color of deep space—black with streaks of glowing purple. Her smile was gentle... too gentle. Her eyes, empty as an abyss, stared at them.
"Iris..." Leila said slowly, swallowing the lump in her throat. "Can you... actually see our faces?"
"Nope!" Iris chirped, her expression never changing. "How did you guess?"
Leila chuckled weakly. "You’ve never once complimented how we look. Not even once."
"Hehehe... how perceptive," Iris giggled softly, brushing a hand through Leila’s hair. "I made it that way on purpose. Because if I could see your faces clearly... I’d never be able to stop myself from killing you."
Both Aurianna and Leila stiffened.
"But," Iris added, almost sweetly, "I love you both too much to do that. So I’ve made sure I never see you clearly. That way I can help you. And it’s better that way after all that woman can see through my eyes."
A shiver ran down their spines. Those words, no matter how affectionately spoken, sounded like a threat wrapped around their necks.
Suddenly, a sharp scream pierced the air behind them.
"Ahhh!!" someone cried out.
