Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 378 - 315: First day of school
Two weeks later, Aurianna finally emerged from the isolation space. She stretched, yawning as the door closed behind her. Her room was spotless, and she smiled faintly.
"Guess I’ll sort my clothes before heading out," she muttered, pulling several outfits from her spatial ring.
She held up a silky blue dress and chuckled. "Huston really knows how to design... I should get more from him."
She sat on the bed, legs crossed. "Time moves so weird in there..."
"That’s because time is distorted, master," Penma said from her shoulder. "You lose track in that space."
"True. Better check on the others," Aurianna said, and with a flash, teleported downstairs.
Zeche sat alone, a holographic screen flickering before him.
"Hey, where is everyone?" Aurianna asked curiously.
"They’re preparing for classes. We’ve already been sorted into classrooms."
"What?! Already?!"
"Yep. You need to register your subjects at the office. If not, they’ll assign you randomly."
"Zeche, please take me there!" she begged, hands clasped.
Zeche chuckled softly. "Sure."
Make sure you guide her properly. She has a terrible sense of direction, Penma muttered.
"Seriously, Penma?!" Aurianna pouted.
"Better safe than sorry," Penma shrugged.
"Oh, and we’re all in Class S," Zeche added.
"Sweet! Let’s go!" Aurianna beamed.

After an exhausting day of walking around the massive campus, they returned in the evening.
"Aurianna! You’re back!" Batholem called out.
"Yeah, wish I could’ve stayed longer in the space. But time was up," she said with a sigh.
"So what subjects did you pick?" Shuwi asked.
"I’m leaning into Geography and People Management," Aurianna replied. "You guys?"
"Music," Kiana whispered shyly.
Aurianna smirked. "You wanna be a pop star??"
"I... like singing," Kiana said, fiddling with her fingers.
"I picked Leadership!" Elena announced proudly.
"You? A leader?" Christopher burst into laughter.
"Humph! I’ll show you, meanie!" Elena puffed her cheeks.
"I picked Business," Peter said flatly.
"People Management and Math," Juvin added.
Zeche blinked in shock. "Really?"
"What?" Juvin asked, puzzled.
"We all thought you were just muscle, and justice, not a numbers guy," Peter said, and everyone nodded.
"Did I really come off that way?" Juvin mumbled, slightly hurt.
"...A little," Elena admitted.
"What about you, Batholem and Shuwi?" Juvin deflected.
"Leadership and Science," Batholem said.
Aurianna burst into laughter. "You? Science? I never expected that."
Batholem glared lightly. "If you want to know something about me, just ask."
"Will do!" Aurianna said with a grin and a thumbs up.
"So how will the first day of class be like?" Juvin asked, eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"We’ll just use our cubes to report to Class S," Zeche replied, leaning back in his chair, arms folded behind his head.
"Yeah, but you’ll have to wake up early," Zorian added with a sigh. "Class starts at 7 a.m."
"Seven?! What kind of madness is this?!" Elena gasped, her voice echoing through the hall as she clutched her head dramatically.
"Well, it’s something you’ll just have to get used to," Zeche said, smirking.
"I’m actually kinda excited," Kiana murmured bashfully, glancing at Aurianna from the corner of her eye, twiddling her fingers.
"Have some confidence, chi, chi, chi," Aurianna giggled with a fond smile.

"Finally, first day of school!" Aurianna cheered, her voice filled with energy as she zipped into her uniform in a flash. She leapt down the stairs two steps at a time, her long twin ponytails bouncing behind her. Everyone else was already gathered at the entrance of the dorm, except one.
"Elena! Hurry up! You wanna delay us?!" Shuwi snapped, arms crossed, tapping her foot with frustration.
"You guys are too cool with being morning people! Did y’all forget I’m a vampire?!" Elena groaned from the upper floor, her voice raspy with sleep.
"Not my problem," Shuwi snorted.
"You guys are so mean!" Elena wailed as she finally dragged herself down, her hair still half-done and fangs barely concealed.
"Well, I’m off to class," Zorian announced coolly. He tapped his cube and vanished in a flash of light.
"I keep forgetting he’s not a first year," Christopher muttered, watching the space where Zorian had stood.
"Well then, are you guys ready?" Peter asked with barely contained excitement. "Then let’s go!"
Everyone tapped their cubes, their bodies glowing before they vanished one after the other.
They reappeared in a massive classroom, easily accommodating over a hundred students. Rows upon rows of seats were already filled with students from every race, beastkin, elves, dwarves, humans, fae, and more. Voices buzzed in the air.
"Well, adios. I’m gonna grab a good spot," Shuwi said, unfurling her wings and gliding toward the back row.
Aurianna blinked to an empty seat at the far back, settling in with her arms folded. The rest found spots nearby.
At exactly 7:00 a.m., the doors swung open, and in walked a tall, graceful man. He had fair skin, a face like it was carved from marble, and his long robe trailed behind him. Flowers gently floated in the air around him, and his smile lit up the room.
"Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you all. I’m your history teacher, Cotton a Dryad. But feel free to call me Mr. Cotton!" he said cheerily, placing his books on the podium.
"As you all know, history is a mandatory course. I promise it’s not that hard to grasp. I know many of you have already learned bits and pieces of this world’s history, but do understand the real history is not available to the general public. That’s what we’ll cover here."
"This is so unsatisfactory," muttered a human girl with sharp features, her arms folded and eyes narrowed.
"Why’s that, young lady?" Mr. Cotton asked, clearly caught off guard.
"Why can’t we have a human-only division? Why are we forced to study with demi-humans?"
A loud scoff followed. A proud-looking elf stood up, tossing his blonde hair back. "As much as I detest humans, she’s right. Why must we lower ourselves to share a classroom with these low lives?"
More voices joined in, dissatisfied murmurs erupting throughout the room. Some began rising from their seats, casting glares and insults at other races.
"Please, it’s school policy," Cotton said nervously, his smile faltering. "No discrimination is allowed. We all must learn to work together...."
"How can we get along with people who enslaved us?!" shouted a dwarven girl, her face flushed with anger.
"We enslaved you? Don’t act like your kind doesn’t do the same. Hypocrites!" barked a human boy, slamming his fist on his desk.
A loud, eerie silence fell as a wave of pressure washed over the room. Aurianna stated down at them, her light dead blue eyes narrowed into cold slits.
"Can you all shut the hell up and let class continue?" she said coldly.
The air itself felt heavier. Most of the students turned pale instantly, clutching their desks or gasping for air.
"Isn’t she the one who fought the Saintess Vanuer?" someone whispered, trembling.
"Yeah... I didn’t think she’d be in our class..."
"Don’t make me repeat myself," Aurianna muttered.
"Aurianna, no violence," Cotton said with a nervous chuckle. "Don’t forget, those bangles the Saintess gave you will shock you if you act up."
"Tch," she clicked her tongue, sitting back down.
’She really doesn’t like those restraints,’ Cotton thought. Still, the class was much quieter now.
"Now then, let’s begin," he said, clapping his hands.
