Saving The Villainous Monster From The Male Lead-Chapter 31 - 30: The Mad Monster
"My- My lady, asked me to answer on her behalf." She lied.
"Nonsense!" He yells, as he takes a few steps towards the trembling maid. His huge body towering over her, while his scarlet eyes tried to pierce through her like a sharp knife.
Marina’s fear was easy to read for Caelestis. Immediately, he knew Eleanore was not really in the bed.
"Where is your master?" He asks, in the most harsh voice Marina had ever heard, sending shock waves through her spine.
Her unfilial mouth went shut, overwhelmed by the dangerous aura that had surrounded her, emitted by the fearsome grand duke. A tiny drop of sweat passed down her temples as she tried to come up with an answer.
"Maid!" Caelestis yelled again, not giving her a chance to come up with an excuse. "I ask again. Where is your master?"
Marina’s knees lose strength, throwing her body down on the cold floor. Her eyes welled up in fear, yet remained fixed in Caelestis’ red eyes. As if a spell was casted on her that restricted her from shifting her gaze from those murderous eyes.
Caelestis clenched his jaw and almost sprinted to the bed. He pulled the blanket off the pillows that looked like a human was sleeping in there. His fingers dug into that beautiful velvet blanket, before it got thrown on the floor.
He walked back to marina and knelt near her, his fingers now digging into Marina’s rough but clean arms.
"Where is Eleanore?" He asked again, this time scaring every cell present in Marina’s body, reeling the welled up tears, and forcing her to open her mouth to make her reveal the truth without her permission.
"In the side house!" She answered in a trembling voice.
Celestis’ fingers dug harder in her skin, to the point that it started to bleed. "After I deal with her. You will be punished equally." He said, knocking her onto the floor, before rushing his way to the Side house.

Eleanore was afraid that one day she’ll get caught, but she had never imagined that that day would be so soon. She gulped in fear when Caelestis’ angry face appeared in front of her. Her feet, as if glued, stayed fixed in its place and her eyes couldn’t escape his scarlet gaze.
His lips parted, ready to throw out words he had never imagined he would use. But they closed again, when his eyes fell on Stella who was wearing a worried expression. ’Why was she worried? Did Eleanore do something to her? Or is she worried that I might hurt Eleanore? She cares about her.’
"What are you doing over here?" Caelestis came up with something better. His angry eyes stared at the woman, who had hurt Stella several times but today was here to help her.
’How strange! This must be a trap.’
He couldn’t believe that these two enemies were actually sharing a smile together and what was that that Eleanore said? She would help Stella run?
"Never. I will never let you hurt her." He said, before grabbing Eleanore’s hand and dragging her out of the room.
Her hand caught the trolley to resist his strong pull. She clenched in hard enough to make Caelestis’ feet stumble a little. His gaze turned back to Eleanore’s face, shooting millions of arrows of dominance in her hurt. Her body shivered in fear.
Again, he pulled her by her wrist, digging into her soft skin. Eleanore could no longer fight it, the weak trolley lost its balance from the sudden motion, and stumbled down on the floor. The plates shattered on the floor and the remaining watermelon juice splattered in every direction.
Stella was shocked to see Caelestis’ monstrous behaviour. She had never seen this man so violent. After years of friendship, she finally realised that she knew very little about this man. Her limbs that had regained strength, all thanks to her new friends, went forward.
Fighting against the stronghold of the stubborn chains that had kept her binded to this damn bed. The clanking of the metal echoed in the room.
"Stop it!" She yelled, trying to run after them and stop Caelestis from hurting Eleanore but she couldn’t go any further after stepping down the bed. She fought hard against the binding, but could do nothing more than hurting her wrist further.
"She did nothing to me, Caelestis. Let her go!" She pleaded for her friend, fearing Caelestis might hurt her.
He had only taken a few steps when Stella’s scream stopped him. Instead of feeling happy that Stella had finally called him by his first name, after such a long time, he felt angry.
True, Stella called him. Finally. Her usual silence was eating him up from inside but the fact that she only called him because she thought he might hurt Eleanore angered him more.
Just then the doorkeeper bumped into the angry Caelestis. Without thinking twice he landed a slap across the poor man’s face. "How dare you leave your spot and let anyone in. Lock the damn door and remain in your place. Next time I see you wandering around, your head will be flying off your body. Understand?"
"Y- yes my lord." He bowed, rubbing his wounded cheek, to reduce the pain.
"Duke, I-" Before Eleanore could even begin to say something to defend the poor man, Caelestis shut her up by pulling at a speed so high that she almost lost her balance.
