SEXY MECH SYSTEM-Chapter 3: First Mission
"Put to test? What kind of test?" Syril asked, his voice still laced with enthusiasm. ππππ¦ππππππ·ππ.πΈπ°π
"Youβre really dying to get an ability." The system chuckled before continuing. "Letβs see if youβre up for the challenge."
Suddenly, the system chimed and the display changed.
*Ding!*
[New Mission Alert.]
[Mission: Disvirgin yourself.]
[Reward: New Ability, New Special Skill, New Ability Skill.]
[Deadline: 72 hours.]
Syril read the words displayed several times, and every time he read it, he felt like the air became heavier.
"Disvir... what the fuck?! Tell me youβre joking," Syril exclaimed, almost choked by his own saliva.
"It is what it is, Syril." The system drawled.
"There ought to be some other way, right? Right? Oh, shit! Sexy Mech System?! This is what it means? The system wants me to... fuck for power?" Syril attempted to negotiate before realization dawned on him.
"Correctamundo, boy!" The system answered like it was discussing the weather.
Syril paused, series of thoughts running wildly in his head.
"Letβs say I donβt do the mission, what will happen?" Syril asked.
Silence.
The system refused to give an answer.
"Huh, voice in my head, are you there?" Syril checked, thinking the βhallucinationβ was finally gone.
"Well, the system will disconnect from you, and youβll continue to live your miserable life with no ability. Face it, itβs no hallucination. Also, you can call me Raja," the system finally answered, his tone devoid of the earlier playfulness.
Syril immediately felt a lump in his throat. He didnβt wanna trash his opportunity of an ability, and he also didnβt wanna follow the systemβs method.
"Why should it be this way? What kind of... who created the system?" Syril pressed, still bothered by the bewildering mission.
"Iβm afraid I canβt answer that now, Syril."
"Fine, fine. Iβm late for work. Gotta go," Syril replied, already heading to the shower.
"Oh, Iβm always with you. Hehe!" Raja, the systemβs voice said, his tone regaining the earlier playfulness.
Syril paused his steps, his eyes widening and a chill running down his spine. Not that he wasnβt aware (since he knew the voice was in his head), the affirmation of the system just made it worse.
Syril pretended to ignore it, continuing with his preparation for work.
He soon finished and hopped on the busy, high-tech cityβs streets, his short black hair gently dancing to the windβs tunes.
Then, he noticed...
βIs it me or people are giving me longer looks?β Syril had thought.
Of course, Raja remained quiet, waiting for the right time to speak.
Syril looked at a giant billboard for the time, since he didnβt have a wristwatch. He was quite surprised he made it early despite all of the morning drama.
He now stood before a sleek futuristic building. The building stood with polished marble tiles gleaming under the beams of sunlight. High-tech Smart Boards attached to the building intervally displayed coffee cups, confectionery, beverages, and other food items. At the top of the building a gigantic, purple 3D signage was attached, its words reading: Amandaβs.
The Amandaβs was few meters away from him when he heaved a sigh...
"Another work day. I wish for more tips and giant orders... even though Iβve never really been lucky."Syril prayed.
Rajaβs voice slipped in, giving the classic irritated soundβ"tch! Others would die for what you possess now."
Syril ignored, but then something came to his mind. He remembered he got quite the high tips yesterday, and luckily, his powerful colleagues didnβt care about it. They were only interested in thrashing him.
Not that the money could even entice those stinkingly rich bastards, even their pride wouldnβt allow them to take the measly tip. Syril was just grateful the system had taken the pains away and healed him, not allowing him to use his βpreciousβ tips for further treatment.
"Thatβs just one of the perks, Syril. Boy, thereβs a lot you donβt know yet," Raja chimed in casually.
βRight, he can hear my thoughts.β
"Heard that, too." Raja drawled playfully.
Just then, the door flung open and a familiar gaze locked on him.
"Good morning, Amanda," Syril greeted.
"Oh, sweet Syril, welcome. How are you? Is there any problem, dear? You usually come earlier than this." A woman in her 30s responded, her amethyst eyes sparkling as her cascaded violet hair shined.
She wore an elegant black gown that hugged her curves without revealing much. Still, the melons on her chest were undeniably full and pushed her gown to reveal a tiny, juicy cleavage. Subtle, but enough to make weak ones lose their sanity.
Her backside wasnβt short of stories, too. Her round, soft ass was the type to make men lose their composure from sight only. The ass stood temptingly in her gown, promising heaven to whoever got grasp of it.
Her curves dangerously swayed as she approached Syril. She wore her sweet smile capable of melting the hardest of hearts.
Of course, she wasnβt trying to seduce Syril or anything, that was just how Amanda carried herself.
Elegant, calculating, attractive... her poise had never faltered before Syril. She didnβt have any reason to, not even before her thousands of affluential customers. Controlling a restaurant that pulls customers who held high position and power in the society was no joke.
And Syril? He had never thought of her lustfully or desirably. If anything, sheβs just like a mother to him.
"Iβm good, Amanda. I was kinda occupied this morning (by some kind of system that finds it easy to drop bombshells)." Syril replied sheepishly, running his hand in his tousled black hair.
Amandaβs smile stretched before saying, "oh, itβs fine. I was just worried."
She turned around to perform the regular routine, but was surprised to find her gaze lingering on the boy. Not the kind she gave as acknowledgement of Syrilβs good work. It was a weird one she couldnβt explain.
Syril had also noticed, but he thought it was just Amanda being Amanda.
"Oh, how naive you are, Syril." Rajaβs thick voice echoed in his head teasingly.
Syril dismissed it again and started his own routines.
The door bells soon started chiming, the regulars... well, wealthy regulars whose clothing only revealed their influence before their poise did.
The business moguls, models, and celebrities one would dream of meetingβkept appearing in the cozy Amandaβs, ordering and having business discussions.
How funny it was that Syril had met lots of superstars and they never paid attention to him, not offering help or recognizing his presence. With more than three years with the Amandaβs, he remained a shadow in the circle of power.
However, today was different.
The customers gave longer stares, tipped higher, and even gave brighter smiles. Especially the ladies.
Something about the regular waiter seemed different to them. His presence was more... recognizable.
Syril too proved more efficient and effective. He was able to lift extra trays without pulling a sweat. His pace was faster and smoother. His body just felt light like he had a burden lifted off him.
Some could tell his looks had also changed. Those that truly payed attention to him before his dramatic change. His muscles appeared more defined in his attire, his look was sharper and... more attractive.
He exuded some kind of charm that truly caught most of their attention.
...
The orders had reduced since it was mid-day. The affluents had gone to their various fields for daily businesses.
It was the perfect moment for Syril to reflect on all that had happened.
Syril checked his pockets and he was surprised to find them more than twice heavier than they were, yesterday.
βIs someone finally answering my prayers? The looks, strength... everything felt unnatural,β Syril pondered, a wide grin plastered on his face as he immersed himself in his thoughts.
He soon thought of the system and asked the inevitable question.
βSystem... no, Raja, is this the work of the system? Have I really changed?β
βIβm glad you noticed. Yes, itβs the system, and like I said earlier, these are just basics.β Raja replied, his tone tinged with that a matter-of-fact confidence.
Syril was soon snapped out of his thoughts as Amanda approached with levitating cups and trays. Her Telekinesis ability manifesting.
"Syril, something about you has changed. I can tell," Amanda started, her tone casual but undoubtedly serious.
She moved closer and whispered; "did you finally get a power book?"
Syril gave a nervous smile that appeared cute. "No, ma. Iβve just been... exercising." Syril lied, his fists clenching from the thought of it.
"Oh, well... itβs working out," she joked, her eyes entrapping the light from the fluorescent bulbs hung up."Keep up the good job."
"Help me with these tray, will ya? Take it to Rob," she added, her fingers momentarily flinching to balance the levitating cups on the tray with practical fluidity.
βLord, Iβll do anything to get that kind of ability,β Syril thought to himself, his eyes glinting with fervor.
"You have something better, dummy. Do anything for that," Rajaβs teasing voice chimed in.
Syril thought about the mission again. This time, positively.
βIf I could make this impression today, what else can I do?β He questioned himself silently.
Just then, the system interface materialized before him.
