The battlefield burned.
Stone twisted. Reality warped and Fire and shadow howled.
Trigon's six eyes blazed with hate, his voice a growl of godly malice as his ghostlike form floated above the ground like a living apocalypse.
"KNEEL!"
Six searing eye-beams lanced through the air, death made light.
But Arthur was already gone.
[Speed Step]. He vanished in a blink, appearing behind Trigon with a sudden sonic boom, Demon King Longsword gripped in both hands. With a grunt of force, he slashed downward Trigon twisted, catching the blade mid-swing with a clawed, burning hand.
They held there, eyes locked.
Then a clash.
Fist met fist. Blade met fire. Arthur was airborne, wings of crackling energy from his boots flaring behind him as he ducked under a second beam and drove a punch upward.
Trigon snarled, head snapping back as Arthur's doomsday gauntleted fist connected with his jaw, sending a ripple through his smoke-like form. But the demon god responded in kind, spinning and belching a torrent of hellfire from his massive maw.
Arthur crossed his arms, activating Ruler's Authority a force erupted in front of him. The fire slammed into it, pushed, screamed but didn't pierce.
Then Arthur burst through the flames.
"Is that it, God?!" he roared.
Trigon's tail whipped around, Arthur grabbed it.
With superhuman strength and shadow-infused power, Arthur swung the demon soul-form through the air and slammed him into the crumbling floor below, cratering the earth beneath with enough force to flatten a fortress.
Trigon rose, eyes narrowing into slits.
"Insolent.."
All six eyes fired again spiraling, weaving, unpredictable.
Arthur used Speed Step, zig-zagging midair at impossible angles, twisting past the beams, flying upside-down, then appearing in front of Trigon's face in the span of heartbeats. He used Ruler's Authority again, dragging jagged obsidian chunks of the broken gateway behind him and flinging them at Trigon like missiles.
They exploded against the demon's spectral chest as Arthur closed the distance again.
"HRAAHH!"
He slashed low Trigon dodged, the blade grazing his ribs with a hiss of black mist. Trigon responded with a massive, clawed swipe, but Arthur ducked and drove his fist into Trigon's gut, sending the demon flying backward into a wall of molten stone.
Arthur hovered there, cloak fluttering, electricity crackling across his arms.
"You're strong," he said, voice low. "But even though you are in this form you still bleed."
Trigon stood, chest smoking.
"I will unmake you."
They shot at each other again two blurs of fire and lightning colliding mid-air, shaking the realm itself. Fist met claw. Blade met horn. The sky above cracked with the power of their clash.
They struggled mid-air, locked in a test of raw force. Arthur's eyes flared, his gauntlet igniting with shadow energy.
Trigon bellowed as Arthur began to push him back.
For the first time in probably forever... the Demon was losing in a battle of strength.
And far below, Constantine's eyes widened.
"He's actually holding him.."
Kara smirked. "Told you. Fists can solve some things."
The sky split with fire.
Smoke spiraled like a living serpent as Arthur clashed with Trigon's soul-form above the battlefield shockwaves rolled outward with each blow, collapsing walls and sending flaming debris into the void-like sky of this hellish realm.
From below, two meteors of violet and black light tore upward Ultra and Galatea, flying at blistering speed.
Galatea slammed into Trigon's side like a warhead, sending the massive demon spiraling through the air.
Ultra blurred beside her in a streak of violet, his black cape flaring behind him as he raised both fists and hammered down on Trigon's back with enough force to rupture the air. The demon roared in fury, his glowing form flickering for a moment.
"You dare, mere constructs of shadow?" Trigon bellowed, voice echoing like a hundred screaming voices layered into one.
His six eyes flared, converging on Galatea with a blast of molten red hellfire vision.
Galatea gritted her teeth, floating mid-air with her arms crossed in front of her.
"Not backing down from a ghost with anger issues."
Her crimson heat vision ignited, meeting Trigon's beams mid-air. The sky between them turned white-hot with colliding energy.
"You are nothing!" Trigon hissed.
Before the beams could overwhelm her, Ultra appeared beside Galatea, raising his hands and unleashing his own heat vision, locking it in perfect sync with hers.
"Then let me show you what we are capable of," Ultra's voice was distorted, and deep like thunder in a void.
The combined heat beam from Galatea and Ultra pressed forward, pushing Trigon's attack back inch by inch. The demon snarled, his six eyes blinking erratically.
"Vermin!"
Arthur watched them hold their own, the corners of his mouth twitching ever so slightly.
Then he blurred.
[Speed Step]
He appeared above Trigon, whose eyes were still locked in combat with the dual beams.
"Heads up." Arthur said coldly.
He brought his gauntleted fist down with the force of a meteor BOOM!
The impact sent Trigon spiraling, smoke bursting from his skull as one of his massive horns cracked, shattering in a rain of obsidian shards.
The demon let out a bellowing screech that shook the molten stone below. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
And then
Galatea and Ultra descended beside Arthur midair, hovering behind him like twin titans of wrath Galatea's red eyes still smoldering, Ultra's violet glow pulsing like a heartbeat of destruction.
The three of them Arthur, Galatea, Ultra formed a line in the air, shadows curling beneath them, their capes billowing like banners of war.
Trigon reeled, clutching his cracked face, growling in disbelief.
"It seems I must do that in the end" he spat, fury twisting his monstrous features.
Arthur's eyes narrowed, glowing bright blue as lightning crackled around his shoulders.

Far below the chaos, where the sky didn't burn quite as violently and the roars of battle echoed like distant storms, Raven lay cradled in Doom's massive arms. The colossal shadow's body knelt motionless, like a monolith carved from darkness itself, shielding her from the ruin overhead.
Her breathing was shallow. Sweat beaded on her pale skin. Her cloak was torn, her body battered, and even now, wisps of red magic still clung to her fingers like unwanted chains.
She stirred.
One trembling hand slowly reached out and touched Doom's enormous, clawed finger, as if anchoring herself to something real something stable in this infernal plane.
"Doom... he calls you right.." she whispered, her voice rasping with effort. "You don't... understand. He's not just... strong."
The shadow didn't reply. His glowing eyes stared straight ahead always alert, always still.
"He's... smiling like this... for a reason," she said, pain flickering in her violet eyes as they glanced at the silhouette of Trigon.
She coughed once, twice then grit her teeth and continued.
"My father's true threat... isn't his strength. Not while he is like this." Her voice cracked. "It's what he can do... in this half-formed state. How he manipulates the battlefield... the soul... the mind..."
Doom slowly turned his head to look down at her, confused.
She pressed her forehead into his massive palm, fingers weakly clutching at the shadowy flesh. "You all need to leave. Please. While you still can."
The great shadow general growled low in his throat a sound like the Earth groaning beneath its own weight.
He didn't understand her words fully, but he understood one thing
She was afraid.
And for that alone, Doom shifted, slightly adjusting his grip to protect her more fully, his body tensing ready to stand should anything dare come close.
****
John Constantine stood just a few feet away from Trigon, trench coat fluttering in the infernal wind, a burning sigil glowing in his palm, the glyphs rotating mid-air like celestial gears clicking into place.
A cigarette burned low in the corner of his mouth, barely hanging on.
He smirked.
"Time's up, demon."
Trigon's six eyes flared red then twisted into something colder. Smug.
"Time's up for you."
The air changed.
Arthur landed with thunder beside John, his Generals, Galatea, and Ultra falling in behind him. Arthur's glowing blue eyes narrowed as he gripped the Demon King Longsword, sparks of lightning snapping along the blade's edge.
He felt it. The shift.
Something off.
"John now!" he barked, urgency in every syllable.
"I know!" John's spell ignited with hellfire and starlight but it was a second too late.
With a scream like a tear in reality, Trigon's soul shot upward, twisting into a stream of flame and black mist. Arthur slashed up with his blade in a blur, the ground fracturing from the force but the specter slipped past him, spiraling through the battlefield like a banshee's curse.
Kara had just incinerated a horde of fire demons beside Zatanna, her eyes glowing with heat vision, cape singed at the edges.
She didn't see it coming.
The black mist slammed into her, wrapping her in a cocoon of red lightning and hellfire. Her body froze mid-flight, limbs twitching as the scream that followed wasn't her own but something ancient and furious.
Her blue eyes snapped open, not blue anymore, now there were six of them and burning red.
"Kara!" Zatanna gasped, stumbling backward, hands lighting up with defensive spells.
"Bollocks!, how did..." John hissed, the spell in his hand short-circuiting from magical interference.
Arthur's eyes widened, his face contorting with fury and disbelief.
"Damn it John!" he cursed, stepping forward but Kara, now possessed, turned toward them with the twisted smile of Trigon carved onto her face.
A voice echoed from her throat distorted and monstrous.
"A Kryptonian... makes such a fine vessel."
The possessed Kara floated above them, red lightning licking from her fingertips, hair dancing in the corrupted wind, cape fluttering like a devil's banner. The ground cracked beneath her presence.
