Shattering Humanity-Chapter 467: An Immediate Reason To Worry

Inside the blood stained padded room, Daisuki’s bitten pinky has been fully bandaged as the Vinland Medic wraps it once with medical tape to keep it in place.

Wiping the sweat from her forehead and taking a deep sigh, the female soldier seems relieved.

The injured leader takes a look at the work with his smile and takes a peek at his tattooed pointer finger.

Daisuki: "Thank you, soldier.

You did a decent job."

Appreciative of his compliment, the woman gives him a smile back.

Vinland Medic: "Thank you, sir."

Daisuki looks over to the culprit to his injury has had his hands cuffed behind his back, and now has a pillow case over his head in the corner of the room. There is one Shelly clone and one Vinland soldier keeping guard of him.

Daisuki: "There really is no need for the excessive restraints, Captain Whistler, honestly."

Sitting at the table, smoking a cigarette, while staring at his AWOL soldier, is the bald Navy Captain of the destroyer vessel had Saku transmigrated to Faithful Friends Firehouse Field.

Blowing out his inhaled smoke, Captain Whistler side eyes the man who betrayed his group.

Captain Whistler: "I understand your willingness to forgive, even those who have phyisically harmed you, Mina.

Unfortunately, I still have a code of conduct to uphold for my own crew."

He looks over at the rest of his cooperative Vinland Navy soldiers talking amongst one another or with one of the Shelly clones.

Captain Whistler: "His actions were directly the result of the new draconian law of ’servitude or military’.

Trying to get good people to simply help in rebuilding the world isn’t easy.

Sometimes, the shitheads still made it long enough to survive too."

Suddenly, to everyone’s surprise, a portal hole begins opening on one of the padded walls in the room.

As soon as he spots the fast growing portal, the leader knows exactly who it is.

Daisuki: "Saku?"

From the other side of the inner dimensional hole, the Izanami Captain can be heard directing his small crew.

Saku: "Friend, Xaaydagaay, go!’

On command both the four legged Friend and the half orca whale, half human female, jump through the oval.

The sight of the dog and girl with an orca tail startles the Vinland Navy PoWs, but once the portal grows large enough to touch the floor, Laban carrying a passed out Aiden, and finally Saku.

Daisuki runs to Laban and notices the young genius’s missing foot covered in a bandaging of a torn sweatpants and duct tape.

Daisuki: "What the Hell happened?!"

The DaeMon follower passed over the injured member to Takamagahara to the Head Honcho while Saku explains.

Saku: "After learning about some shit Seiõr can do, the Nerd wanted us to escort him to scavenge for supplies.

An Iceman came through the store and..."

Shelly Clone: "Um, Sens-"

In the midst of the chaotic moment, the Shelly clones explode into SeiõrSnow.

Captain Whistler: "What is going on?!"

Both Daisuki and Saku look at each other, knowing what it means knowing Scylia’s clones have disappeared.

Daisuki: "Scylia!"

Already checking on the situation, Laban has her Eyelien activated at 2nd Stage, a grey aura.

Laban DaeMon: "It seems your spunky little wifey wanted to challenge Herfjötur to a 1 on 1 to stop the Holmgang, and surprise, surprise, she lost."

Daisuki: "What?!

Where-"

Laban DaeMon: "A few streets away from where Zoram has her SeiõrStar protecting your people."

Already having activated his own Anjell Eye, a Yin aura being released, he locates the exact home Itsuka is trying to help the passed out Scylia.

He looks over the wall the group entered from and a portal begins to grow on the white wall.

Inside the dark, broken home, Scylia has landed in the bathroom. Knocked out, and slumped over the now cracked bathtub.

Itsuka covered in her personal Seiõr can be heard running across the wooden floor and looking for the oldest foster sister.

Itsuka: "Big Sis Scylia!"

She almost runs passed the location but stops and stumbles into the damaged bathroom.

As soon as she manages to get the unconscious woman’s arm over her shoulder, a portal hole in the bathroom’s wall begins to quickly spread larger.

The preoccupied vice-captain doesn’t notice the convenient exit until Saku pops through.

Saku: "Itsuka!

In here, hurry!"

In an almost comedic moment Itsuka manages to lock in her knees to keep herself and knocked out Scylia upright.

Itsuka: "Saku?

How did you-?"

Remembering Scylia’s IceEye ability created the Shelly clones, she can quickly piece together how the man she loves figured out something was wrong.

She carries over the unconscious woman and through the hole in the wall, Itsuka passes her through to Daisuki.

Daisuki: "Scylia!

Scylia, are you okay?"

The woman who bandaged up the Takamagahara leader has moved on from the footless Aiden to make sure Scylia is still alive.

She feels Scylia’s wrist and listens for the vitals over her heart.

Vinland Medic: "She’s still alive."

Saku and Itsuka look at one another from the portal. While his Anjell Eye is active, the two symbiote hosts lock eyes.

Saku: "I’ll keep this thing open. You go get everyone else outside and bring them back."

Breaking their locked alien eye contact, Itsuka nods and can be heard running from the portal.

Not needing to look at his copied ability like his leader, Saku turns back and sees the quiet commotion happening.

With sleeping Aiden laying on the table and now Scylia on the floor, the results of the day’s war make the Yin Vessel shutter.

Saku(thinking): *It could’ve been worse.*

Unable to leave her one true God alone, knowing Itsuka is on the other side of the portal, blunt Laban comes over with her Eyelien still at 2nd Stage, grey aura.

Laban DaeMon: "Well now that everything is calming down and the Amazonian is returning, I think you should know..."

She takes a drag from her smoking apparatus before dropping news.

Laban DaeMon: "...The Yang Vessel was being water boarded for the past two hours."

Saku: "What?!"

Laban DaeMon: "Don’t worry too much.

It’s going to be hard explaining to these people that Skalmönd was the reason the entire town is painted in their allies blood."

{Tomodachi Town}

Still inside the workout gym, Katsu and Shelly have used the same handcuffs to restrain the Takamagahara Izanagi Captain, are now around the wrists of the face shot, Vinland Marine Captain.

The man who tortured Katsu is still passed out from a pissed off Shelly, leaning against the mirrored wall.

From one of the military bags in the room, Katsu pulls out a small bag containing 3 glowing cashews.

Katsu: "Aha!"

He picks one out and tosses it over to Shelly. In a swiping catch, the well coordinated blonde stares at the SeiõrSupp in her dirty, scuffed, and chipped nailed hand.

Katsu: "That butthead took these from me and wasted one after eating it when he wasn’t even hurt."

They both consume a single Seiõr packed nut, and instantly their wounds start glowing lime green and healing.

Shelly looks over at the man she shot in the face and then knocked out.

Shelly: "Well he’s hurt now."

Surprising her, the compassionate young man takes the remaining SeiõrSupp and puts it in the unconscious Captain’s damaged mouth.

Shelly: "Katsu?

What are you doing?"

Without answering, Katsu leans the man’s head back to make the Seiõr healing cashew fall down his throat.

In just as much time as their’s did, the sleeping man’s bullet damaged cheeks begin to heal closed.

Katsu then opens the Captain’s mouth once again and notices something.

Katsu: "His skin and gums are fully healed, but his shot out teeth didn’t grow back."

Shelly: "So wh...

What does that mean?"

Katsu: "I. Don’t. Know..."

Shelly falls to the floor in comedic fashion as Katsu closes his former torturer’s mouth, and smiles while patting the older man’s head twice.

Katsu: "What I do know is this guy was under pressure, and he only did what he did to me, because someone important to him risked their life for them to get further.

I’m assuming it was whoever launched all those missiles at one of the giant Icemen. I was controlling, and then crushed under the other two who rushed the same ship."

Getting back to her feet, Shelly still feels no pity for the man in his late twenties who tried to besiege Takamagahara territory.

Shelly: "But Katsu..."

Katsu: "We are the bad guy to him, Shell.

In the moment, and during these times of conflict, you killing his allies is just as inhumane as him trying to suffocate me..."

Shelly looks over at the damaged entrance to the gym building. The sun now setting over the ocean, creating warm orange lighting over the bloody beach town landscape to the 1vs1,000 city battle.

Katsu: "But Shelly, if we want to make it through life with as little death as possible, we’ve gotta get better with our perspective flexibility.

We’ve gotta try better to understand those on the opposing sides. To stand in their shoes, compare who they see as important to who we see as important..."

Shelly(whispers): "katsu..."

Getting into his own speech, the inspirational speaker steps up on the workout bench he was waterboarded on.

Katsu: "If we’re going to save the world...

If we’re going to be the heroes, just like the heroes in our favorite stories..."

He swallows his spit and looks deeply into his adopted sister’s bright blue eyes.

Katsu: "...You and I need to figure out why people hate us so much, instead of figuring out how to counter act with equal negativity."

Shelly admires her purpose and then takes time to absorb his words while looking at the healed man she knocked out.

In his head, Katsu’s inner self talks to himself, planning his next move based on his knowledge of what’s to come.

Katsu(thinking): *She should regain all of the clone memories in 3...2...1...*

In perfect timing, Shelly perks up as the events of what happened inside the padded room come flooding into her mind.

Still placating to the innocent goofball role, Katsu tilts his head and hops down from his spot.

Katsu: "Shell?"

Once all of the clone memories have stored themselves in the original’s brain, Shelly at first focuses on the fact Aiden had a foot missing.

Shelly: "Aiden!"

Somehow already knowing what they have missed while in their own storyline, Katsu still pretends out loud to have no idea what she’s worried about.

Katsu: "What?

Why are you worried about Aiden?"

but then...

Shelly: "My clones memories...

But Saku’s clones disappeared a while ago..." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Katsu: "And Big Sis Scylia is strong enough to keep her ability active as long as she’s... conscious..."

The two Izanagi Captains look at each other, now with an immediate reason to worry for their other Takamagahara members.
