She Lives without Regret in This Life-Chapter 1259 - 1329: Expensive Fertility Medicine
The man saw Qin Cuifen, his eyes glued to her chest, wishing he could dive right in.
"Cuifen, how about a wonderful workout?" the man said in somewhat broken Mandarin. He had traveled to many places with Julian and gradually picked up some Mandarin.
Qin Cuifen’s body went limp, and she hadn’t even gone inside yet before she fell directly into the man’s arms.
The man brought her inside and kicked the door shut. When the sounds finally subsided, in the room, Qin Cuifen twisted her alluring waist.
"Will you take me? Please? I want to go!"
"Alright, alright..." The man couldn’t resist her allure and turned over onto her.
Not long after, intense sounds once again emanated from the room.

As the saying goes, "It’s hard to refuse a gift." The effect of a watch was unexpectedly good, and ever since Julian agreed with the doctor to help Sheng Ning keep the baby, the daily food was much richer than before.
Milk, eggs, and bread. Plus, the doctor’s attitude and use of medication improved significantly; Sheng Ning tried to communicate with Bill through gestures and eye contact and could roughly understand his meaning.
The meals were delivered daily by a lady in her fifties. Although she was also Eastern, she was born and raised in the U.S. She could speak Mandarin, albeit broken and not very fluent, but it was enough.
Sheng Ning could learn English from her.
"What did you do to make the stingiest Bill willing to use such good medicine on you?" the meal-delivering lady asked curiously.
Sheng Ning smiled without speaking, lowering her head to continue drinking the milk. Even though she felt like throwing up, she couldn’t bear to waste a drop. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Is that medicine really good?" After drinking the milk, she placed the cup on the tray in front of her and asked in confusion.
"Of course! That medicine is expensive; Bill, being so stingy, probably wouldn’t use it even if he were dying."
"He’s a man; he wouldn’t need fertility medicine." One was a miser, the other was stingy to death, but both foreigners had weaknesses.
Weaknesses were good; with weaknesses, her chances of survival, along with her baby, would be greater.
"This was bought when passing through Europe, intending to sell it at a high price upon returning to the country." The meal-delivering lady had worked on the ship for over a decade, with keen knowledge. In addition, she frequently delivered meals to higher-ups, so she heard more news than others.
"Thank you, auntie," Sheng Ning sincerely apologized, "Without you, I wouldn’t know what to do. I promise to repay your kindness in the future."
The meal-delivering lady laughed, her face wrinkling up in layers.
"By the way, someone on the ship wants to harm you, so be careful."
"Harm me?" Sheng Ning was puzzled. Julian had mentioned this last time. Now that someone else brought it up, who could it be? "Who is it?"
"Our boss’s mistress," the meal-delivering lady revealed a look of disdain, "just a shameless slut, parading around as if she’s our boss’s wife. Hmph! Once our ship docks, she’d still be sold somewhere just the same!"
Anyone familiar with Julian knew what kind of person he was.
"With the same yellow skin and black hair as me?" Sheng Ning was even more surprised.
"Exactly, but very lowly; she can’t compare to you."
The meal-delivering lady saw that she had finished eating, picked up the tray, and left.
