Chapter 59: An Explosive Occurence!

"Who were the ones using the Artifact?" The Head Judge, Victoria, said what everyone was thinking, her words booming not only across the courtroom, but also into the ears of every single person who was watching the live-stream.

Sylvia went to speak when suddenly,

~BOOM~

A massive explosion rocked the entire courtroom, sending debris flying around and crashing into many of the persons seated. A gigantic purple portal appeared in the middle of the room, a horrifyingly dark aura emitting from it.

Out of the portal stepped hundreds, if not thousands of men and women. Abyssal Monsters and Abyssal Contractors, all of whom emitted a terrifying aura of death, darkness and destruction.

Damon looked around, making sure everyone was safe and gauged the strength of the incoming enemies. He identified that they were mostly ranging between the <Forbidden Mage Realm ( S ) and Divine-Steps Realm ( SSS ), with the 4 Abyssal Monsters leading the attack being at the Demi-God Realm ( EX ).

Most of the enemies had a higher realm than Damon, who was at a Peak Mana Emperor ( A )but he didn’t mind it too much. After all, with a Sign-In System and all of his powerful opportunities, it would be a bit embarrassing if he couldn’t leapfrog realms in battle.

"I didn’t expect you paltry imbeciles to figure out about the Nether-Dream Abyssal Emperors, it was you huh." The leading Abyssal Monster said. It was a female, around 7’ tall, with a hideous grin as her gaze ran across Damon’s body, her Demi-God Realm aura sending a shiver down Damon’s spine.

"Oh, but it doesn’t matter. You all won’t live to tell any tales." The Abyssal Monster said, and suddenly terrifying army of enemies attacked.

"We’ll hold off the big players. You kill the minions." Blaze ordered and leaped into battle with the enemy leader. Damon agreed, he wasn’t strong enough to kill a Demi-God as of yet without blowing all of his secrets, so he resigned himself to slaughtering the weaker opponents.

"Freya, Ezreal, Lets GO!" Damon said, leaping into battle himself. World Spirit Gates appearing behind him, with Freya and Ezreal aggressively leaping out, charging into battle ferociously and immediately suppressing multiple enemies.

Without warning, Damon raised his hand, and the elements responded to his command. Fire roared to life at his fingertips, water formed a protective barrier, earth rumbled beneath his feet, and gusts of wind circled him like loyal vassals.

Then, they flashed forward, a tyrannical storm of elements ravaged throughout the now obliterated courtroom, destroying many of the Abyssal Monsters and Contractors, yet more and more kept pouring out of the purple portal, like an endless enemy.

"Infernum Retribution!" Damon roared, an implosion of tyrannical golden flames appearing in his hands, his eyes glowing gold as his aura suppressed the Abyssal Monsters charging forward.

Then, Damon flashed forward, BloodReaper in his hands covered in the golden flames as he slashed enemy after enemy to pieces. With every kill, he grew stronger and stronger, and he killed faster and faster, until he was rampaging through the battlefield like an unstoppable hurricane, only leaving behind the body parts of his enemies.

Damon flashed backwards, appearing next to Orphis who had her own hands full dealing with Abyssal Monsters.

"It seems they came prepared, without destroying that portal, we can’t ever win." Orphis said, her eyes flashing with worry. Truth be told, she didn’t particularly care about anyone currently present aside from her master and savior, Damon, and her goal was and always will be to make sure he survives.

"Here, take this. With every kill, it will charge up. Once it’s fully charged, tell me. Once I throw it into the portal, it should be destroyed." Damon said, taking a Jade Disk out of his spacial storage, one of his Sign-In Rewards over the years.

Orphis nodded and continued her viscous attacks while Damon’s eyes swept across the battlefield, spotting the Head Judge, the beautiful Human Victoria, currently in a tough spot, with dozens of enemies surrounding her, blocking any potential escape.

"Vengeful Fate!" Damon said, blinking behind the last enemy in a slash so inhumanely powerful it pulled all of the enemies attacking Victoria towards him.

Victoria, spotting her opportunity, threw out her spear, a terrifying intent of destruction coating the weapon as it smashed through everything in its path, smashing their bodies to pieces and annihilating their souls.

"Thank you." Victoria said, a smile on her face as she looked at Damon, her heartbeat spiking as she really began to admire the unmatched handsomeness of the Demon in front of her, especially with the blood of his enemies soaking his body. In Victoria’s eyes, it just made Damon more sexy.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t admire him for long.

"Are you Damon Rivelea?" A voice laced with darkness and evil echoed in the duo’s ear, breaking them out of their personal world and looking forward.

In front of them was a dark, tall Abyssal Monster with a slender body, yet it was obviously filled with firm muscles. He had grotesque horns, and his hands were more like claws. He wore an entirely black combat suit, with a mask similar to Prometheus from Arrow ( look it up ). Surrounding his body were dark black orbs that looked like mini planets, each emitting a powerful aura.

Damon could sense the Abyssal Monster in front of him was at least at the Divine Steps Realm, meaning this battle would be incredibly tough, even with Victoria’s help.

"You know me?" Damon said, surprised an Abyssal Monster would recognize him.

"Your Mother KILLED my WIFE!" The Abyssal Monster roared in anger, shaking the very atmosphere of the surrounding area itself.

Damon chuckled and said, "Do you know how many wives my mother has killed. You’ll have to be more specific."

The Abyssal Monster growled in anger and said, "One CourtCase, Two Funerals!! Both of you remember my name, KHAN!" He said, flashing forward onto the offensive.

Victoria stretched her hand out, her personal spear returning to her hands, a weapon forced in the heart of volcanic flames, imbued with the heart of a Light Dragon. The Spear hummed with light power, ready to destroy the personification of Evil called Khan in front of it.

Victoria and Damon both leapt forward, swinging their weapons at Khan who met them half-way. Khan parried the strikes with his claws, the clash of attacks sending a shockwave that even killed weaker monsters.

Khan’s eyes gleamed as he effortlessly held his own against the duo, "Looks like this funeral will be most brutal given your weakness." He taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

Undeterred, Damon channeled his power. Storm clouds gathered overhead, crackling with lightning. With a swift motion, he swung his sword, unleashing a bolt that streaked towards Khan. The Abyssal Monster grinned, manipulating the winds to redirect the lightning harmlessly away.

Khan’s laughter echoed, the sound sending shivers down the spine of those nearby, "Is that the best you can do, little Demon?"

"How about this you RAGING CUNT!" Victoria roared as she appeared behind the Abyssal Monster, smashing her Spear downwards with terrifying power, smashing hard into Khan and leaving a deathly gash on his shoulder.

Khan gritted his teeth, anger in his eyes, "How DARE you INFERIOR BEING DAMAGE ME!" He grabbed Victoria by the neck, her beautiful face now red from fear as he smashed her into the wall, getting ready to snap her neck.

[ Soul Unbound ], Damon casted his spell, his spirit leaving his body behind as he venomously moved forward. Before Khan could react, Damon appeared beside him, shadow hands appearing from the group and grabbing Khan’s hand, preventing his killing of Victoria.

Damon didn’t want the world to know of his shadow army as of yet, but it was still easy to coordinate with them secretly in battle. Damon grabbed Khan’s hand and froze it with a wave of frost, before snapping all the bones in his arm.

Then, he picked Victoria up in a princess carry, leaping backwards and making space between himself and Khan, healing the Head Judge as she coughed up blood and held onto him.

"I’ll finish this." Damon said, resting her down and flashing forward, engaging with Khan.

The battle escalated into a breathtaking dance of blades and elements. Damon fought with everything he had, displaying unparalleled swordsmanship and mastering the elements with a natural finesse, his eyes burning with the rage of a Demon God and a Dragon Emperor as his power rose more and more, and he suppressed Khan more and more viscously.

With a sudden burst of dark energy, Damon unleashed a devastating shockwave, sending Khan sprawling across the broken ground. The Abyssal Monster struggled to rise, his body battered and bruised.

"You terrible Demons. You killed my family, and now you dare injure me. My Father is an Abyssal God, HE’LL KILL YOU WENCH!" Khan said, roaring in anger as he stood back up.

Damon chuckled, a malevolent glint in his eyes. "You fought well. But in the end, an ant can never compare to a King!"

Then, the sky changed from blue to red. Mountains shifted and the time seemed to stand still. Many of the other combatants looked towards Damon, seeing the immense power of his spell.

In a final, overwhelming display, Damon channeled the combined might of fire, water, earth, and air into a cataclysmic force. The elements surged forward, enveloping Khan in an inescapable vortex. The Abyssal Monster roared more and more, fighting valiantly against the elemental onslaught, but it was futile.

Damon stood amidst the chaos, his eyes glowing with triumph. The elements obeyed his command, and Khan’s struggles ceased. His body laying, many parts missing as his soul was annihilated.

With the battle won, Damon returned to Victoria’s side, picking up the injured Judge, who blushed in his arms as he carried her to safety next to Orphis, healing her injuries.

"Don’t fight, just let us protect you." Damon said, and Victoria reluctantly nodded. Just when Damon was ready to leap back into action, Orphis came before him, the Jade Disk he had given her fully charged in power.

"It’s Time!"
