SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 821 - 819: MARKING EACH OTHER
Chapter 821: Chapter 819: MARKING EACH OTHER
Grumble.
However, when man proposes, god disposes.
’Damn!’ Diamond cussed inwardly as she felt him pulling away, his shoulder shaking and at that moment, she just wanted to disappear. Unfortunately, she couldn’t do so lest she expose herself.
"You ..." she said with gritted teeth as she locked her gaze with Gael, but her words got caught in her throat upon seeing the unvented desire brewing in his eyes.
They were both the same. She could only harrumph as she let him pull her back to a sitting position before shyly looking away.
Gael, upon seeing that, chuckled dotingly as he pulled her into his embrace once again and spoke gently against her ear, "Let’s feed you first. How about that?" his voice quite enticing, she was left with no choice but to nod.
After all, she was hungry not just for the flesh, but for food as well.
Seeing her agreeing, Gael smiled relievedly at her while suppressing the desire that hadn’t been quenched before climbing down from the bed and helping her off the bed without caring about the large tent that had formed in this short period of intimacy.
Diamond looked at that tent with a smile and the row of her teeth was exposed as she grinned happily at seeing the effect she had caused.
’I am not the only one suffering!’ she happily thought as she straightened her clothes before merrily leaving while letting a chuckle.
Gael looked at the heartless woman who just left him easily like that and took deep breaths as he walked towards the bedroom. There was no way he was going outside in such a state.
As a result, Ant Janet, who had prepared lunch, waited for nearly an hour and was forced to reheat the food a few times before she finally saw the people she was waiting for.
The moment she saw the guest, she looked down with a knowing smile but didn’t dare to say anything else. What if she pokes the hornets’ nest and angers the fiery mistress?
Nonetheless, after getting downstairs, Diamond was now cool and in a much better mood. The same was true for Gael, who had splashed his face several times with cold water before joining Diamond, who returned to take him to the ground floor.
When they got there, Diamond instructed the two to each other before having the food served.
After late lunch, Diamond showed Gael the rest of the house before taking him outside for a breather. Because the complex was safer without any worry of being photographed and whatnot, Diamond had a great time having a walk she barely does on a daily basis.
When they were done with the walk, it was nearly around 4 pm and time to get on the road.
"Auntie, don’t prepare dinner for us. We are both eating outside!" she informed Auntie Janet as she walked towards the staircase with Gael in tow.
"Sure, Miss!" Auntie Janet responded, not minding that at all.
There was food remaining, leftovers from lunch. She could just reheat that and eat it later.
Meanwhile, on Diamond’s side, she left Gael on the other floor and went to her room.
Inside her room, she disappeared into the bathroom, where she took a quick shower before reemerging. She went to the closet where she picked a nice dress before putting it on.
Once she was done, she took her phone and started checking it. It’s been a while since she played with it. She was curious about who sent her messages.
With a smile on her face, she browsed through her chats and responded to all of them, including Waylon, who was just greeting and curious whether she picked her guest or not.
She couldn’t help but chuckle at that message but still truthfully answered before making a call to Ruby.
After a few rings, Ruby answered, [Sis, afternoon!] Her voice filled with energy.
She chuckled at hearing that energetic voice. "Doing pretty well, and you?"
[Hehe, just anxiously waiting for your arrival. When are you coming and is brother-in-law here yet?]
Diamond’s eyes sparkled when she heard that. A smile blossomed on her face as she answered, "You have a sweet tongue. Don’t you?"
[Hehe. What can I say? I was raised well!]
"Indeed, you were. He arrived and we will be arriving there around 6 pm. We are about to leave home!" she told Ruby earnestly.
[Perfect. Let me start cooking. I will prepare a feast,] Ruby’s response was as enthusiastic as ever.
Diamond’s eyes softened when she heard that and answered as she slid from the bed. "I will be looking forward to such a hearty meal!"
Diamond teased Ruby a few more times before ending the call.
Once the call ended, she picked up her handbag and left the room with the Dentley keys.
When she got downstairs, Gael was already waiting for her, sitting comfortably on the couch as he played with his phone.
As soon as he saw her, he rose to his feet and flashed a smile at her, which melted her.
"Let’s go!" she smilingly said, walking towards the door which leads to the staircase.
"Sure!" he responded as he followed her.
Moments later, the two of them were in the car, buckled up and ready to leave.
However, before Diamond put the car into ignition, Gael suddenly reached his hand for hers and she turned her head to look at him puzzlingly but didn’t ask him what he was doing.
Instead, she let him have her hand and placed it in his.
Gael smiled at her without a word and used his free hand to fish out a box from his pants pocket.
Badum. Badum.
She felt flustered when she saw that. Her heart was racing like crazy as the corner of her lips curled upwards, anticipating what he wanted to do, and the man didn’t let her down.
The small box was opened and inside the box was a pair of silver rings, delicately made and seemingly simple but attractive and pleasing to the eye.
"I wanted to propose to you grandly and in a way that you will never forget, but I guess either way is fine," he smiled at her as he caressed her fingers before adding. "I will make it up to you in the future, but for now, please accept this token of love from me. I want the whole world to know that I am taken by you," his eyes lingered on her before going to the ring inside the box.
Diamond almost choked as she listened to that. Her eyes lingered on the thin silver ring with tiny gems on it. It looked cute, simple and, above all, wasn’t too much and blinding to the eye.
"I wouldn’t mind letting the world know that I am taken as well," she teasingly responded as she scratched his palm with her nail, making him look at her with a relieved smile, his eyes smiling brightly. She just wanted to keep on staring at him.
"That’s good!" he said as he took out the smaller ring from the box before sliding it on her middle finger. "We are dating now. I will buy you a better one when we get engaged," he emotionally said as he caressed her ring finger.
Diamond smiled at him, as she placed her other hand on top of his and said as she looked deep into his eyes. "You better find me a nice diamond when you do so!"
Gael chuckled lightly when he heard that but still responded, "I will not disappoint you,
Her eyes squinted at that before happily saying, "I know!"
Diamond removed her hand on top of his before picking the ring in the box. When he saw that, he gently let her other hand go and Diamond slipped the ring on his hand to match hers.
Once that was done, she playfully picked his left hand and brought it to her lips while locking gaze with him.
Gael felt flushed as she started acting like a hooligan, but his beating heart was saying otherwise.
Diamond didn’t dare tempt or tease him that much, especially with a journey ahead of them. So, she pecked his hand before reluctantly letting go as she said domineeringly, "I have marked you. You are mine and aren’t allowed to mark others or be marked!"
Badum. Badum.
His heart was a mess as those words rang in his ears, but he loved them so much that he leaned in closer to her and landed a smooch on her cheek before pulling away.
Diamond gave the man a side-eye. Her lips curled upwards, unable to stop herself from smiling.
The feeling of dating and being in love was truly ..... she was loving that.
After teasing each other, Diamond drove away from the garage and put on her playlist, which started playing on low volume as she and Gael chatted more about other things on the road.
While on the road, Auntie Grace called on her phone and upon seeing the call, she chuckled helplessly while Gael patted her comfortingly on her hand and that made Diamond chuckle.
"Don’t worry. I can handle her. We might as well tell her the news," she amusedly said as her gaze involuntarily went to the additional ring on her fingers.
Since they have confirmed their relationship, she might as well ease the elder’s heart.
Aunt Grace would be thrilled to hear the news. She could already foresee that.
