SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 838 - 836: LEAVING FRIN CITY
Chapter 838: Chapter 836: LEAVING FRIN CITY
"Let’s add this. Aunt will surely like this!" Diamond cheerfully said as she passed the packets of noodles she took out from her pantry.
It was early in the morning, before 4 am. She and Gael were busy packing gifts that Diamond wanted to send to Aunt Grace and the others.
It was the day that Gael was returning home, and Diamond would be flying to Strawford City in preparation for the upcoming auction that Dean had invited her to.
Gael sighed as he looked at the several bags he had packed already.
"Dear, this should be the last one, right?"
Diamond rolled her eyes at Gael when she heard that, but nonetheless didn’t clamor to keep on adding more. It wasn’t like Gael would be using a private plane. She had to be measured.
She could only acquiesce.
That morning, the two helped each other with the packing, and Diamond made sure that Aunt Grace would get some goodies.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t send her the chicken or fresh produce. But all dried products that she had, Diamond made sure to give them to Gael.
When the food was packed, Diamond also picked several unworn outfits she felt that her in-laws would like. In Gael’s family, only his mother and Candice knew about her, though she no longer felt that way. After all, how could they explain where Gael was for a week? fгeewebnovёl.com
There were four children in Gael’s family, including him. The oldest was a son, followed by the two sisters, and lastly, there was Gael.
She didn’t have anything to give to the oldest brother, but for the ladies, that was another story.
Picking some of her jewelry she had never worn, she wrapped it nicely and passed it to Gael, who was busy helping her with the picks. After all, as the brother, he knew what they liked.
She didn’t forget her mother-in-law in the process. As for Gael and his brother, she would gift them another time.
Moreover, there was no need to gift Gael. She was the greatest gift he could ever ask for.
In the future, she would prepare a good gift for him that wouldn’t let him down.
Once all the packing was done, the couple who wouldn’t be seeing each other for months after this separation enjoyed a two-hour bath and baptized Diamond’s bedroom, which had never seen such things before.
By the time the two of them were ready for breakfast, which, by the way, was prepared by Ivy since Aunt Janet was still busy with her daughter’s affairs. It was already around eight in the morning.
Dressed casually, both of them, they dragged the suitcases to the first floor, where the other bags were. Ivy was already there and breakfast was on the table.
The three of them sat together at the table and started enjoying the meal. After the meal, Gael and Ivy both took the suitcases to the SUV, which was going to be used as a mode of transport.
Since both of them were flying, they were leaving at the same time.
A few moments later, Ivy sat in the driver’s seat while the couple was in the back.
Ivy smoothly drove the car out of the complex while Diamond was busy talking on the phone and Gael was typing something.
"Oh~ that’s good news then. Just keep in touch with the lawyer. He will deal with all matters without fail."
[I can’t thank you enough. Thank you!]
Diamond beamed as she chatted with Aunt Janet. It was a great thing knowing that everything concerning her daughter was going well.
After comforting the lady and giving her as many off days as she could to care for her daughter, Diamond hung up the phone with relief.
When Gael saw that she was done, he nudged her, asking, "Babe, is everything okay?"
Diamond smiled at him as she nodded. "All is well. I can be at peace now!"
Gael sighed with relief when he heard that as well.
With the journey continuing, the couple chatted about this and that, laughing along the way, and Ivy didn’t bother to disrupt. She was like a mute driver and concentrated on her service.
Hours trickled by, and before they knew it, they were already at the airport.
Gael’s flight was earlier than Diamond’s. After all, he needed to board two planes to get to Voxfort City.
Diamond couldn’t escort him inside, as that would expose her without fail. So, before Gael alighted from the car, Ivy respectfully alighted and gave the couple some privacy.
Gael reluctantly held Diamond’s hands, caressing them and his finger rubbing against the couple ring he put on her on the night they confirmed their relationship.
"Babes!"
"Um!"
"I am going to miss you. Will you miss me?"
Diamond pursed her lips, her eyes flickering with emotions. "If I don’t miss you. Who else do you expect me to miss?"
"Pft~" Gael chuckled when he heard that and planted a kiss on her warm and soft hands.
"Then I am glad. Always remember that I love you. I might not have time for you, but it’s not because I am taking you for granted. I will do my best to always contact you. I will work hard. That way, I will return to your side forever soon."
Diamond beamed when she heard that. She understood what he was saying. And honestly, she loved her men, not constantly bothering her. So, she was very satisfied with the way they communicated, especially from a distance.
Of course, when close, she didn’t mind the clinginess either. After all, who doesn’t have skin hunger?
"I know and will always remember," Diamond acknowledged his statements with a smile before adding, "take care of yourself and if possible, I will visit you one day," recalling how the OASIS event would be held in the country where Gael was residing.
Gael was very happy to hear that. He was looking forward to her visit already.
The couple exchanged several sweet words, hugged, and kissed before they finally parted. It was time for Gael to check in and prepare for his departure.
The door of the car opened, and Gael alighted from the car. Upon seeing that he was out, four bodyguards came to the car to help with the bags while he came over to Diamond’s side.
She opened the door, and with the mask on, it was a bit hard to identify her. But that was only for those who didn’t know her well. For those who were hardcore fans, they were very good at picking her, even from a crowd.
Diamond stretched her arms, and Gael chuckled as he pulled her gently for another hug before planting a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you. Always remember that!"
Diamond nodded as she looked at Gael with affectionate eyes. She didn’t know if this was love or what. Whatever it was, she loved it so much.
"I am now going. I will text or call you to share the progress. You travel safe for me, okay?"
Diamond nodded her head as she listened to the nagging man. The smile on her face never vanishes. It felt nice having someone who cared.
"I will contact you as well," she said after he finished his piece.
Gael playfully ruffled Diamond’s head, and before she could explode, he closed the door and waved at her.
"Will call you!"
Diamond could only roll her eyes at the man and watched as the bodyguards, who were mainly there to carry the luggage, escorted him. It was only after she no longer saw him that she instructed Ivy to take her to her terminal.
The two terminals were in opposite directions.
Ivy acknowledged that, boarded the car and drove to the other side.
Unknown to her, a certain person happened to be covering her mouth with excitement as she looked at the video she had recorded just earlier.
How could she be so lucky?
Back to Diamond, when she got there, she got a message from him telling her that he was in the queue. There was a long line, and she couldn’t help but wonder how many rich people were going to the capital city.
Upon arrival, Ivy and Admire both pulled a suitcase each while she held onto her handbag, looking like a rich lady as she made her way inside.
It was hot. Diamond wore a summer floral dress with straps, a large brim hat which flopped to the front, covering part of her face, which was hidden beneath a mask and large sunglasses.
She wore a pair of open sandals, and the tinkling sound of the diamond anklet she wore sounded very pleasing to the ears.
On her body, she didn’t wear any other jewelry except for the anklet, her storage ring, signet ring and couple ring given by Gael.
Even her hairstyle hadn’t been changed in like forever. She was going to work on that once she got free.
Anyway, no one expected to see Diamond at the airport anytime soon. So, she managed to go unnoticed until she was checking in.
Luckily for her, once the bags were gone, she slipped to the VIP lounge to wait for departure while Ivy and the rest returned home.
Gael’s plane was the first to depart, and he didn’t forget to send Diamond a message about that. With him gone, Diamond entertained herself by checking some comments online, replying to some funny ones and lastly, looking over the community channels for more interesting stories she wanted to record for her programs the following week.
Around noon, she was on the plane, and the air hostesses were very kind. Of course, she signed several autographs and took selfies despite being in the business class.
When that phase passed, she listened to music while browsing through magazines and newspapers.
Information was sourced anywhere, after all.
