Lisa exclaimed happily that even her friend rolled her eyes helplessly upon seeing her acting that way.

"She is easy to talk to, right?" suddenly Lisa became nervous as she thought about the recently squashed rumors.

As a new fan who learnt about Diamond after she saw someone in her circle forwarding an article about her. She had just gathered all the information she could get in hours. Arriving at the moment of the dance was none other than the young man who was gloomy while spying on Richard and Diamond.

"Just tell me damn it! Do you want me to knock your head?" Diamond infuriatingly berated Richard who was playing with fire and teasing her with the gossip.

Seeing Diamond acting like that, Richard chuckled heartily finding her so cute and so much to his pleasing.

Can anyone understand how hard it was at times to find someone who shared a passion?

After teasing her for a bit, Richard faithfully shared the gossip and the more she listened, the more Diamond couldn’t help but steal a few peeks at the couple.

The two were so engrossed in their gossip that by the time they realized that there was someone approaching. It was too late for Richard to make an escape.

"Happy birthday, Richard!" the young man amusedly wished him well with a smile while holding a small box with the gift.

Richard rolled his eyes at the young man but the faint blush on his cheeks made Diamond who was dying for more gossip beam with curiosity as she looked at the younger man.

’Could this be the famous pursuer I heard about?’ she couldn’t help but wonder with a smile as she sized the other party.

"Hmph! What are you doing here? Who invited you?" Richard harrumphed as he acted coy like a spoiled brat questioning the handsome young man.

The young man getting that reaction didn’t get offended but smiled dotingly at Richard and helplessly responded, "Have you forgotten that you gave me an invitation before?"

Richard froze when he heard that and seemed to think about it. After a moment, his eyes flashed with embarrassment and snorted at him while looking away.

Diamond seeing Richard’s actions knew that her friend was smitten. It couldn’t be helped. The young man was not only shameless but had a face and body to brag about. How could anyone not be touched?

If he was her pursuer, she could look into him. Unfortunately, she vowed never to look into others when it was unnecessary.

Nonetheless, she couldn’t let Richard continue to act like a spoiled brat so she nudged him as she teasingly asked, "Dear, is this my brother-in-law?" her voice so low, that only the three of them could hear it.

There was a glint of happiness in the young man’s eyes when he heard that but for Richard, he looked at Diamond with a wronged gaze as if blaming her for saying that out loud.

However, when Richard looked at the young man who had been bothering him like a leech, he couldn’t help but feel touched. He didn’t think that he would be so bold to come to him openly like that. Perhaps his feelings for him weren’t that little.

"Dee, how can you say that? He is just a kid I know!" Richard retorted with a snort as he looked at the young man.

Diamond grinned when she heard that and playfully asked, "So, are you not going to introduce me to him, then? I am quite curious about this ...handsome kid!" she dragged her words as she scanned the man openly without bothering to hide.

The young man didn’t expect that Diamond was that bold, but he liked her. Finding someone who expressed whatever she wanted openly without going around in circles or curves, was truly a blessing that many didn’t even recognize. What was the point of doing yin-yang when things could be spoken directly?

Seeing that Diamond was going all out in teasing him, Richard reluctantly introduced the young man though he felt that by doing so. He would just be making the young man become so smug.

"Dee, meet Eric. The kid from next door," Richard introduced the identity of the young man in a sarcastic way but Eric didn’t seem to mind. "And Eric, this is one of my best friends, Diamond."

Diamond and Eric shook hands after the lame introductions.

"It’s my pleasure to meet you, Eric!"

"The pleasure is all mine, Diamond."

The two had foxy smiles on their faces. Only they knew what they were scheming about.

After the introductions, Diamond kindly helped Richard by taking the gift from Eric curious about what goodies the pursuer had brought.

"Can I have a dance?" Eric suddenly asked Richard, taking the two friends by surprise.

Diamond was the first to return to reality. Seeing the two, she couldn’t help but want to play matchmaker, so she readily pushed Richard to Eric and earned a glare which she simply shrugged before facing Eric.

"Take care of my bro for me!" with an encouraging tone, she gave Richard away and watched with glee as Eric confidently took Richard away under the curious gaze of many.

Diamond smiled as she played with her wineglass, enjoying the exasperation on Richard’s face as well as the gazes of the many.

’This is going to be fun!’

"Diamond, do you mind if we join you?" Clarissa’s voice sounded and Diamond’s smile even widened as she thought to herself.
